The little boy named Maung Tun Htun Aung, 15 years old was shot dead by the armed military forces this afternoon while he was on his way to get water for his mother at Chan Mya Thar Si, Mandalay. 

Maung Tun Aung born in the family without father. The boy's mother and three brothers are currently living in the charity area in Kyu Kyaw Taye, Chan Mya Thar Si Town. 

I am a 8th grader and often donate blood to earn money to support my parents to raise their families. In the picture is my Mother, who can't believe that her small son who always flared up was shot dead by the military this afternoon and is being put in a coffin by the neighbors.

When I was alive I donated blood to my family and now I give my life to feed my country's Liberty.

Michigan county scraps Dominion voting machines, will count all primary ballots by hand

 

 Via John "Given the machine vote counting shenanigans of 2020, all future elections should be hand-counts only. Without honest elections, we cannot have a country anymore.  It is no more complicated than that. There need to be improvements made in our election process prior to the 2022 midterms. Our voting laws are already the laughing stock of the international community.......but it is no laughing mater at all."

Antrim County, Michigan, may be a small county, but it received a ton of press attention following the November election due to tabulation errors that President Trump and his allies believed were due to faulty voting machine software — Trump was attacked for the position, but it turns out that he may have been right all along.

Now, several months later, Antrim County commissioners have rejected a request to use Dominion voting machines, choosing instead to count all ballots by hand, to prevent future voting irregularities in the county during the 2020 presidential election.

Watercolor World Now we can envision Vietnam well before the advent of photography.

The website Watercolour World has shared a collection of centuries-old watercolors depicting different aspects of Vietnamese culture, as well of different landscapes of what was then not even called Vietnam.

At this point we're all familiar with photography from the 1960s and 1970s from the many foreign military service members who trained their lenses on local life when they were in the country. There is even a fair amount of work from the early 20^th century to observe, though largely taken through the viewpoint of French colonists.

Going farther back, we often have to rely on the written word — which is great, of course: this website wouldn't exist were it not for words. These watercolors, then, are a rare peek into what is today Vietnam as far back as the 17^th century, which might as well be another planet compared to what we see today.

Dixie, Quo Vadis?

 

Many today feel that true Southerners living in the eleven States of the former Confederacy are, in many ways, once again fighting for their very existence and face the dismal prospect of the South they once knew becoming, as in Margaret Mitchel’s classic novel, a dream that will all too soon be gone with the wind.  Virtually everything they now hold dear in regard to what constitutes their vision of Dixie seems to be under siege.   Sadly, however, the enemy is not merely at the gates of the South, but like the Yankee invaders of 1861, they are already within its walls.  Unlike Lincoln’s legions of over a century ago who came to destroy the South with the sword, this new invading army, one that began its entry into the South a few decades after the War Between the States, came initially with far more benign intentions.  Only in recent years did the mad desire to tear down all Southern heritage and tradition again rear its ugly head.

"Be all that you can be!" Where men can be women and women can be men; where soldiers must wear masks all day on American bases but can't carry firearms; where the entire purpose of the military is to fight other countries' battles but not the one at our border; where getting women to act like men is the only religion allowed in the military, except when they invariably can't meet the standards and the military lowers them to make them "fair" for all.

That is sadly the state of play in what was once the pride of the nation, after decades of the left rotting out our armed forces with left-wing politicians serving as generals.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) revealed Democrat-proposed legislation would “mandate ballot harvesting” without “supervision” during Wednesday’s Senate Rules Committee hearing on S.1, the “For the People Act.”

Cruz said of the bill, which contains unpopular provisions with Biden voters, Latino citizens, and black Americans, that Democrats “want to strike down every photo ID law in the country to encourage voter fraud.” Adding, “This bill mandates ballot harvesting!”

Wisconsin to Launch Investigation of the 2020 Presidential Election

“The Wisconsin Assembly passed a resolution yesterday for an investigation into the 2020 presidential election that Biden narrowly won.”

Maybe they’ll check to see if the “mail-in” ballots had actually been folded and put into envelopes, as Jovan recommends. What a concept. :)

Assembly Republicans have also introduced a series of election-related bills that would address many of the issues raised by Trump and his supporters. The bills would limit the number of ballot drop boxes; require absentee voters to provide an ID for every election; limit who can automatically receive absentee ballots for every election; prohibit election officials from completing missing information on the certification envelopes returned by voters that contain absentee ballots. and create more paperwork for those who vote early in clerk’s offices.

Wisconsin was one of the key swing states that helped push Biden into the presidency.

But it was also among the primary states riddled with election scandals and voter fraud.

Biden took the state by a mere 21,000 votes but the Trump team prepared numerous lawsuits that were tossed out in court without given a real review.

But Wisconsin’s Republican-majority Assembly passed a resolution to take a much closer look at the controversies surrounding their state’s election.

US Appeals court rules Americans don’t have right to open (or concealed ) carry guns in public

 

Some gun rights activists have looked to Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s appointment to the Supreme Court as a development that could once again bring second amendment cases back to the highest court in the U.S. In an October interview with CNN, Jacob D. Charles, executive director of the Center of Firearms Law at Duke Law said, “As a circuit judge, Justice Barrett showed a readiness to invoke the Second Amendment to strike down gun regulations, and she is likely to vote with the other justices eager to take up a Second Amendment case.”

On Wednesday, an en banc panel of the US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit ruled that the second amendment right to keep and bear arms does not citizens include the right to carry a firearm, either openly or concealed, in public .

The court issued the ruling in the case of George Young Jr. V Hawaii, a lawsuit challenging a Hawaii firearm licensing law, which states residents seeking license to openly carry a firearm in public must demonstrate “the urgency or the need” to carry a firearm, must be of good moral character, and must be “engaged in the protection of life and property.” The court said, “There is no right to carry arms openly in public; nor is any such right within the scope of the Second Amendment.”

American justice is in a parlous condition all the way from the Supreme Court (which abdicated, apparently because politically intimidated, in the late election dispute) and the White House to the most vile catchments of criminal suspects in the great cities of the country.

The Israeli election, the fourth in that country in two years, is generally being portrayed in the Western media as the latest round in the gripping battle for survival of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has established himself as one of the most important figures in the history of the State of Israel, having served as prime minister for 15 years. The real issue, in this and previous Israeli elections, is the continued viability of Israel’s democratic institutions.

Over the course of the last 25 years, a highly independent, recently a rogue, prosecution service has been assembled by successive attorneys general of Israel in the shadow of the protection of the Supreme Court. Step by step, the power of Israel’s attorney general has been augmented and liberated from any supervision or restraint.

Why Vietnam is a Promising Contender for Investment Following Myanmar’s Coup

One country’s loss is another’s gain. On February 1, Myanmar’s military took over the country in a coup sending shockwaves throughout the region. The move undermined Myanmar’s progress and economic reforms since 2011 when it first held parliamentary elections. Recent media reports have stated that the military coup in Myanmar has forced investors to re-think their investments in the country and a large part of foreign investment may be headed to Vietnam and Cambodia.

For the purposes of this article, we will focus on Vietnam. The likelihood of this happening is high given that businesses prefer a stable political environment and market-led free trade environments. Vietnam has been at the forefront of this, registering high growth, establishing free trade deals, and liberalizing its economy. This trend however has been ongoing for the past decade with Vietnam recording increasing levels of FDI.

Guess what? I am sick and tired of being concerned if I offend anyone for being a Southern, conservative, Christian, gun rights advocate. I don't care any more who gets offended. I don't care anymore about being falsely called a racist. I can care less about poor little hurt feelings. The time has ended for always making an apology. The time has ended for apologizing for things we had nothing to do with. The time has ended for apologizing for our history, our ancestors, and our traditions. The time has come to defend all that has made Western Christian Civilization superior to that of all others! I will not hang my head in shame! I will defend to my dying breath the blessings that Western Christian Civilization has brought to the world! I will not be afraid! I will stand. I will fight. I will not be silenced.

Florida Man Sells Homemade ‘1776 Boom Sticks’ At Gun Buyback, City Runs Out Of Cash In 30 Minutes

A so-called “gun buyback” event in Pensacola, Florida did not go according to plan over the weekend, as a local gun club showed up to counteroffer the city by paying actual market value for citizens’ firearms. The only weapons the buyback was able to acquire included BB guns and homemade “Boom Stick 1776” pipe guns, which forced the event to run out of cash in under 30 minutes.

Members of the local Second Admendment advocacy group Escambia Carry showed up to the event with a sign that read “Don’t Get Ripped Off By The City With This Stupid Gun “Buyback’ Program – See Me To Get Fair Market Value For Your Firearm.”
