Your Input Is Needed on Accessiblity and Wildlife Recreational Opportunities
The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is seeking input from individuals with disabilities regarding access and opportunities on boating access areas, game lands, public fishing access areas and shooting ranges.
If you or someone you know has a disability and is interested in helping us address these issues, please consider attending one of the four forums being held across the state (see information below).
The objectives of these forums are to introduce current Commission programs and infrastructure that promote accessibility and inclusivity; identify potential access barriers in Commission infrastructure along with agency strengths; and discuss potential solutions to these barriers.
Ultimately, the forums will help Commission staff better understand which accessible opportunities should be prioritized to meet our constituents’ needs and what barriers need to be addressed.
