Is a new UN “principle” now guiding US foreign policy and intervention?
-- Hopper in A Bug's Life (1998)
===================================================================
.........what does agreeing with this “principle” mean in the future?
Do we intervene in Sudan or the Congo? Ivory Coast? And if not, why not? None of them, like Libya, put our core national interests at stake. But all certainly fit the new R2P principle. How about Bahrain and Yemen? Nepal?
Instead, what we see here is precisely what the left has decried for years – the US along with others who can afford it and are willing to do it –agreeing to police the world. However, in this case, it would be at the behest of the UN. We are agreeing that the UN can determine when and where we commit our military forces simply by invoking this principle. Invoke R2P and, by our precedent in Libya, we agree to respond.
This is far and away different than case by case agreements among member nations to intervene with peace keeping troops in troubled areas around the world. This is a “principle” that Moon says is a “new international security and human rights norm” apparently is interpreted as a “right” to intervene with military force.
Funny – I don’t remember us agreeing to this “new norm”, do you?1st Brazil & Now Chile`s Communist Party Protest Obama's Visit!

A Brief History of the United States From Beginning to End
"In 1492 Columbus rediscovered America, and the settlers, destructively exploiting its vast resources, achieved a success which they attributed to their own near-miraculous virtues, some of which they actually had: courage, rude vigor, industry, and an independent spirit. Shortly after, they emerged from WWII unscathed due to the military genius embodied in two oceans while competitors—Europe, Russia, China, and Japan—lay prostrate. America’s intact military and an economy up and running economy allowed the establishment of a fairly benign empire and an astonishing commercial dominance, both being attributed to near-miraculous virtues and regarded as permanent.
Chris Cox: NRA Calls Out NY Times
"........ the Times only likes to highlight successful crime prevention policies when there’s an anti-gun president in the White House. Or maybe it’s because the Times couldn’t be less interested in an issue that doesn’t provide a platform for bashing NRA members and law-abiding gun owners.
The Times would much rather waste ink praising the anti-gun efforts of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who spends most of his energy trying to restrict the rights of gun owners in other states while ignoring the failure of his own city’s efforts to reduce crime."

This has been encouraged and facilitated by Western elites who have laws with severe penalties throughout Europe to persecute dissidents and allow Muslims to take European territory and change the culture to suit them. Don't forget the elites brought this about by deceit and we did not realise what was happening until very late but there is a resistance building in Europe as a whole and England in particular. The Muslims know the governments and police are on their side: “"You are a White man you can't do nothing"”
Evil elites cover up heinous murders of innocent people like that of Charlene Downes if the perpetrators belong to the new-privileged groups. There is a noble and honourable demonstration in Blackpool on March 26th for justice for this abused young girl whose case was sabotaged by the police. This is part of a new era of nobility and heroism. It is an honourable demo for posthumous justice for this young White girl who was used for sex then allegedly chopped up and sold in kebab meat.
Homer expressed nobility in this aphorism: "I too shall lie in the dust when I am dead, but now let me win noble renown." The ancient Greeks placed great importance on personal honor. Man was nothing without honour. One type of Honor is won by a man's prowess, the ability to fight and be victorious in battle. I suggest that fighting for justice for your people and defending them from attack by rival communities is very honourable and noble.
Honor, Violence, and Civilization
As further evidence that academics frequently miss the obvious one need look no further than the 1996 study by two mid-western psychologists on the proclivity of white Southern males to resort to violence when their honor is challenged. The latest clap-trap from the pointy-head class is enough to underwhelm Southerners who have long known that good ole’ boys like to get into a scuffle now and again over questions of propriety and good manners.
Psychologists Richard Nisbett (University of Michigan) and Dov Cohen (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) conducted a series of, it would seem, rather risky experiments with their collegiate charges and concluded from them that insulting a non-Hispanic white man from the South can be downright dangerous. The professors’ toil has led them to postulate that white Southern boys, when insulted or threatened, tend to experience a testosterone surge normally absent in their gentler northern brethren. The unleashing of this most politically-incorrect hormone accounts for the South’s much-maligned “culture of honor.”
Neither Nisbett nor Cohen claims to impugn white Southern manhood, and most of us indeed greet the results of their study with a good deal of prideful chest-beating. Years ago, in my dissipated youth, when I dabbled at being a Southern rocker in the days of the original Allman Brothers Band, Lynard Skynard, and the Marshall Tucker Band, a female groupie (I suppose there are other varieties on today’s music scene) said she liked Southerners best because they were still “real men.”
National Guardsman's career destroyed by ATF
"In recent weeks I have focused on a variety of stupid gun laws. This week I want to look at an example of how application of these stupid laws has seriously harmed one individual.
Albert Kwan lost his small firearms business and his commercial real estate business along with his 25-year career in the National Guard, much of his extensive and extremely valuable firearms collection and all of his life savings. He currently works for a Christian mission program in China and owes his attorney something in excess of $400,000 – all in the name of stupid gun laws and over-zealous enforcement."
Rep. Allen West Calls Out & Impersonates Senator Harry Reid:)
"At the 2nd annual 9/12 Project picnic with Allen West in Lake Worth FL, Congressman Allen West stated that while he is humbled by the support he has received from people across the country who believe he is a viable Senatorial and/or Presidential candidate, but nonetheless, he is staying put in the U.S. House of Representatives. West then went off to call out Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) by way of a pretty good impersonation- regarding the video in which Reid says that the Tea Party would not survive."
New Details on Russia’s T-95 Tank Emerge
"Check this out. These grainy images are supposedly pictures of the prototype of Russia’s T-95 tank which was to have been the basis for a 21st Century Russian armor fleet. Moscow is said to have scrapped funding for the tank last year yet still withheld most details of the behemoth. However, thanks to a tipster, DT has some speculative info on the beast.
From what I’ve been able to learn from a translated data sheet found on the website, Tankpower."

Vietnam War pilots meet 43 years after one saved the other
Bien Hoa, Republic Of Vietnam
"Wayne Hague always wondered whatever happened to the pilot whose crippled plane he refueled and escorted to safety over North Vietnam in 1967.
Ron Catton always wondered about that pilot who kept him from having to bail out of his F-4C Phantom fighter and literally right into a suite at the Hanoi Hilton.
More than 43 years passed since their meeting in the skies over Southeast Asia linked them even though they never knew each other's name. But fate has a way of working things out.

NC Congressman Heath Shuler says he will carry a gun
--James Madison, Federalist No. 39
===================================================================
In response to the Arizona shooting rampage, NC Congressman Heath Shuler has confirmed that he will carry a gun himself for protection at state public events.
“I, like many of my constituents and staff in Western North Carolina, strongly support the Second Amendment and do exercise our right to legally and safely carry a firearm,” Shuler (Democrat-Waynesville) said in a statement to the Times-News.
Shuler was first quoted by The Politico newspaper on Monday as saying he would be armed for future events.
"You never think something like this will happen, but then it does," Shuler said. "After the elections, I let my guard down. Now I know I need to have (my gun) on me. We're going to need to do a much better job of with security at these events."
Shuler has he’s encouraging his staff members to apply for the same NC conceal and carry permits he already has.
The Crux of an Entire Movement
1st North Carolina
“Despite all the endless volumes that have been written on secession, the Northern lay mind sometimes fails to realize that to the Southerner the right of a State to withdraw from the Union was the very soul of freedom. The parallel which the Southerner readily drew between 1861 and 1776 either escapes the Northerner or leaves him cold. And yet that was the crux of an entire movement that nerved men and women alike to make the supreme sacrifices to the bitter end---the feeling that they were fighting for their freedom from an oppressive relationship.”
--Ella Lonn, Reconciliation Between the North and South, address delivered at Birmingham, Alabama, November 1, 1946, The Pursuit of Southern History, 1964

The Question of Political Secession

"North Carolinians of 1776 were highly particularistic and, when once the bond which united them to
Great Britain had been severed, they recognized no authority outside the borders of the State which might
control or in any way limit their freedom of action. When, therefore, they came to the task of constitution
