General Mike Flynn’s Brother is Now Commander Of The Pacific Army

General Charles Flynn is as big a patriot as his brother General Michael Flynn.

The General has assumed control over a force 90,000 strong, and has committed to keeping “an open and free Indo-Pacific.

What this means remains to be seen, but he is no doubt talking about China’s increasing aggression in the region.

Either way, I am glad that we have a Flynn in The South Pacific, and not someone who is just going to ignore everything that is happening over there.

Open Letter from Retired U.S. Military and Veterans: Support and Defend

As former members of the U.S. military who have proudly served our nation, we write to express our support for Constitutional freedom and liberty and our concern for our country as many powerful forces seek to bring Socialism and Marxism to our land.

When we agreed to serve our country, we pledged to support and defend the U.S. Constitution  against all enemies, foreign and domestic. During our active duty service, we did just that.

Today, although no longer active duty warriors, we are still bound to this pledge and believe we are ethically obligated to protect our country. As such, we put our nation’s leadership on notice.  We believe the hard left turn toward Socialism and Marxism endangers our citizens and the future of this great nation. Although a difficult step to take, we believe this step is necessary for us to continue to demonstrate the integrity and moral courage our oath requires.

• We are disgusted by the dismantling of the rule of law in our great country. We never thought we would see the return to Vietnam-style disdain for public service. Unfortunately, this disregard and disrespect is corrosive and will lead to dangerous situations for citizens and law enforcement. A revolving door for criminals and a two tiered justice system that offers up different penalties based on the viewpoints of the accused must end.

• It disturbs us to see the erosion of fair and honest elections. Civilians doubt that our electoral system accurately reflects the will of the people. Current service men and women struggle to find clear instructions on how they can execute their own constitutional right to vote and doubt their ballots will be counted. We reject efforts by those who seek to avoid fair and honest elections by deeming commonsense voting measures “racist.” The gold standard in voting, recognized throughout the world, is in person, with identification, yet politicians are seeking to end this in the U.S.

• We oppose the politicization and ideological purging of our military. The focus of our military should be on training, readiness, and defense of our Nation, not leftist cultural “wokeness”.

• We decry the assault on our constitutional rights through censorship of written and verbal expression and we point out the complicit arrangement between private corporations and those in power to present only one point of view. Never did we think we would see the day when our media resembled Pravda.

• Bureaucratic abuses that have led to business and school closures and excessive lockdowns should not be tolerated by the American people. We do not get our rights from the CDC, the FDA or from private corporations. And, as such, we will not tolerate Soviet-style internal passports or anything resembling the Chinese social credit system where citizens are monitored and controlled, whether that system be carried out by the government or by their cooperative partners in the private sector.

• We stand with Israel and call upon all Americans to continue with the Mideast peace initiatives, the “Abraham Accords” and oppose re-engaging in the Iran Nuclear Deal.  Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons is not in the interest of freedom-loving individuals.  We believe it is in the self interest of all Americans to oppose this deal.

• We must continue our efforts for energy independence. We believe it is in our nation’s best interest to reopen the Keystone Pipeline and focus on regaining U.S. jobs and protecting the national security interests provided by energy independence.

• The perforation of our southern border is a lifeline for terrorists, drug cartels and human traffickers. The current administration’s position on open borders and illegal immigrants places our nation at risk from a health, economic and safety perspective. As a sovereign nation we have a right and a duty to protect our borders.

• We oppose the establishment of cooperative relations with China as we believe the Chinese Communist Party is focused on global militaristic and technological domination.  It is currently amassing weapons to stage a takeover of Taiwan. America is bound by the Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty which protects Taiwan from invasion by the People’s Republic of China. Our cooperation with China is at odds with our signed alliances and is not in American self-interest. We must focus on preventing Chinese expansionism and protect our nation from attacks on our infrastructure by securing our gas pipelines and electric grids from penetration.

We call upon the American people to join us in opposing the advancement of socialism by holding public officials accountable in the public square and the voting booth. We must elect local, state, and federal candidates who will always act to defend our Constitutional Republic.

The survival of our Nation and its historic values, liberty and freedom are at stake.

Steve Bannon: Trump Should Be Voted as House Speaker and Move to Impeach Joe Biden

Donald Trump recently said it would be an “interesting” idea for him to run for a Florida seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022.

And former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon thinks it can happen.

During an interview on The War Room podcast, Bannon and Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene discussed Trump not running for Congress but being elected the next Speaker of the House in 2022 if Republicans take back the House.

China warns U.S. to 'stop all forms' of official outreach to Taiwan: Tells State Department to cease 'elevating its relationship'

 Via Billy

I doubt they would say this to Trump.

In response to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken signaling the U.S. will start to build a “framework” with Taiwan to establish trade relations, a Chinese Embassy spokesperson has demanded communications cease.

“Stop all forms of official exchanges and contacts with Taiwan, stop elevating its relationship with the Taiwan region in any substantive way,” the spokesman said in a statement to The Wall Street Journal.

The Biden administration has taken to strengthen its ties with a territory China claims as its own. Democratic Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, Democratic Sen. Christopher Coons of Delaware, and Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan of Alaska announced the U.S. would donate 750,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Taiwan while visiting the country.

Way down yonder in the Paw Paw patch

My 3.  Christine has 3 also.

Call it the American Custard Apple or the West Virginia Banana, but it’s neither apple nor banana. It’s the Paw-paw (Asimina trilob), the largest native fruit of North America, and it grows throughout Appalachia. There are about seven other members of the genus Asimina, all growing in the southeastern U.S. Mature pawpaw trees produce fruits 2″ wide by 10″ long, which turn from green, to yellow, and then black as they ripen in the fall.

Western Civilization-Post Scriptum

I once wrote an article on the problems arising from what I termed “group condemnation.” I believed that in attempting to warn people of dangers lurking in the culture, those who blamed “groups” rather than individuals tended to lose credibility. To speak against the Jews or the blacks or any “group” rather than individuals within those groups often resulted in charges of bigotry and, in consequence, the loss of the transmission of valuable and needful information. But times have changed in ways that intelligent, rational people could not have anticipated even a few years ago.

Today, group allegations are openly accepted even by people who are reasonably intelligent and rational! And this change is across the board; it is not limited to condemnation but also involves support and approval based not upon actions but upon the groups involved in those actions! As a result, today one does not look at individual behavior! In a protected group, its members’ actions are either approved or, if that is not rationally possible, ignored, disguised or otherwise concealed. Whereas, in a targeted group, its members are blamed, castigated or otherwise condemned without any evidence of wrongdoing and, indeed, even when there is clear proof of innocence!

UNC system is run by Marxists. This is why I transferred to Liberty in 2001. It's worse now with the identity politics and taxpayer funded left-wing Neomarxist propaganda.

Decaix, Designed by Thomas Hope for his Duchess Street Mans...

An extraordinarily rare and important 19th-century urn, thought lost to history, was recently discovered by Heritage Auctions and is set to go to auction June 22 in Dallas, Texas. Designed in the early 19th century by furniture designer Thomas Hope, the urn was found in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the collection of David D. Denham, where it had been modified into a side table.

Heritage has set a conservative pre-auction estimate of $40,000 to $60,000 on the rare bronze. According to research, the urn's mate resides in London's Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), the world's largest museum of applied and decorative arts and design.

Department Of Defense: We Won’t Fly Pride Flag

Gay Pride Flag At Boston City Hall

On Friday, the Defense Department indicated that they don’t share Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s perspective on flying the LGBT pride flag, saying the Defense Department will not allow the flag to be flown at its installations to celebrate Pride month.

Defense Department spokesman John Kirby stated, “After some careful consideration the department will maintain the existing policy regarding the display” at military bases. “There won’t be an exception made for the Pride flag. This in no way reflects any lack of respect or admiration for the LGBTQ+ community. This was really more about the potential … for other challenges that could arise from that exception,” Fox News reported.

Teacher Suspended For Refusing To Affirm Children’s ‘Trans’ Pronouns Is Fighting Back

General area where I grew up.

After Byron “Tanner” Cross, a P.E. teacher at Leesburg Elementary School, told the Loudoun County school board that he will not affirm children’s so-called “transgender” identity, citing his Christian faith, he was immediately placed on administrative leave.

Now, Mr. Cross is fighting back.
