Crimea: “In Washington, in the Obama Administration and in the Kerry State Department, we have absolutely breathtaking levels of incompetence."

Via Act Well Your Part

“The Crimea referendum was the first legal way to find out what the people wanted to do.  The turnout was remarkable, and they voted overwhelmingly to rejoin Russia, to become part of Russia once again.  The interesting thing here is it was not just the Russians that voted to join Russia but the Ukrainians in Crimea, which makes a sizable part of the population voted to join Russia. . . Ukraine is composed of sort of a no man’s land in the West and then Russian territories in the East. . . .

If that trend holds, you are basically left with this insolvent nugget of nothingness, and it will be up to the international community to decide what to do with these people.  They are right now marching around Kiev with baseball bats and going into government offices and beating up members of local government and installing their own members.  They are basically running amok.  They don’t even have the support of the Ukrainian military at this point.  So, it will be a mop-up operation against these neo-fascists that are running amok.”

Orlov goes on to say, “In Washington, in the Obama Administration and in the Kerry State Department, we have absolutely breathtaking levels of incompetence.  These people really don’t know what they’re doing and are dangerous at any speed; and everywhere else, we have this follow the incompetent leader thing taking place, and it’s really, really frightening because the incompetents are leading the world to a really dangerous place.”

Top U.S. general: Look for missing jet in Pakistan 'It's possible the U.S. knows much more than it's saying'

Retired Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney — the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Air Medal with 17 oak-leaf clusters, Distinguished Service Medal and other honors — is suggesting searchers looking for the missing Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 take a look at possible landing spots in Taliban-controlled Pakistan.

In an interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News, McInerney, now a contributor to the network, said his recommendation was based on information from sources he was unwilling to disclose on television as well as the analysis of an intelligence service called LIGNET.

McInerney said the free world needs to be worried until the location of the jet, which disappeared March 8 on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, is determined.

“My concern is if this airplane could be used as a bearer of a weapon of mass destruction or even conventional munitions that could attack a carrier, Israel, our allies,” he said. “We have to be very alert until we know exactly where this airplane is.”

Investigators believe the airplane changed course shortly after takeoff and headed West for as long as seven hours. They are looking into the politics of the pilot, who had a Boeing 777 simulator set up in his own home from which data recently had been deleted.

High-Handed meddling: The Moneychanger nails it for the second night in a row

Coup in Ukraine illustrates U.S. addiction to meddling and regime change

  *********

I want y'all to picture something. Suppose the #2 elected official in Russia made a trip to Toronto and Mexico City. Suppose further he said in public speeches, "I understand how worried y'all are that the United States might invade y'all again, as it did in the past, so I am here to assure you that Russia is on your side." I'm betting y'all would be pretty ticked off  and consider that high-handed meddling.

So yesterday the US Vice President Joe I-Had-A-Hair-Transplant Biden went to Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia and said all this, but aimed at Russia. Look at it from both directions: if you were the Russians, how would you take that? If you were the Poles, Lithuanians, & Estonians, how much would you trust it? And if it would be high-handed meddling if the Russians did it, why is it not high-handed meddling when formerly bald Joe Biden does it?

Only a nacheral born durned fool would ask questions like this.

Sick.

An alleged member of the Mexican Knights Templar cartel, 34-year-old Manuel Plancarte Gaspar, was arrested by police in the state of Michoacán--suspected of killing young children by removing their internal organs. Michoacán state Public Safety Secretary Carlos Castellanos accused the alleged gang member of involvement in the cartel's organ harvesting ring, which reportedly targeted children, according to a report in the New York Daily News

According to the Daily Mail, Gaspar was apprehended last week in a stolen car where large amounts of cash and crystal meth were found. He is the nephew of a notorious Knights Templar leader named Enrique Plancarte Solis.

Subsequent to the arrest, Carlos Castellanos tweeted a series of alarming messages according to the Daily News. One of them said that Gaspar "belongs to a criminal group and is being investigated for the death of children, who drew their organs for sale," as reported in the paper.

Putin: Crimea similar to Kosovo, West is rewriting its own rule book

Via Nancy

“In the practical application of policies, our western partners – the United States first and foremost – prefer to be guided not by international law, but by the right of strength. They believe in their exceptionalism, that they are allowed to decide on the fate of the world, that they are always right,” Putin charged.

This disregard to rule of law was evident in Yugoslavia in 1999, when NATO bombed the country without a UN Security Council mandate, the Russian president said. There was Afghanistan, Iraq and the perversion of the UNSC resolution on Libya, when instead of imposing a no-fly zone NATO bombed the country into submission.

There were also orchestrated “colored revolutions” in Europe and the Arab World, which cynically used the feelings of people tired with corruption and poverty. The latest Ukrainian events are just the latest of such actions, and Russia’s willingness to seek dialogue and compromise was stonewalled again, Putin said.

All is reportedly calm in Simferopol today after two Ukrainians were killed near the military base there on Tuesday. However, all is decidedly not calm elsewhere in Crimea. Ares Armor Store Owner Claims ATF Tried to Make a Secret Deal for the Names of His Customers

The CEO of a gun parts store in California on Monday accused the ATF of trying to obtain the names of nearly 5,000 of his customers by striking a secret deal with him.

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “basically said, ‘Listen, we know you’re a legitimate business. We know you’re doing everything fine. Hand over the list of names, hand over this particular product that we have now deemed to be a firearm and everything’s going to be fine. Nobody will know about it. It will be swept under the rug,’” Ares Armor owner Dimitrios Karras said.

Tactical Machining May Have (Accidentally) Explained A Problem With The ATF Raid On Ares Armor

Clear EP Armory 80% Lower Receiver (via Facebook)
Tactical Machining has a determination from the ATF stating that our 80% receivers are not firearms. Make sure the manufacturer of your 80% lower has a determination from the ATF or you could end up in the same boat.

Tactical Machining has been in the 80% receiver business since 2008, and have AR-10, AR-15, and 10/22 receivers as well as a 1911 frame on the market. From what I’ve heard of the company they have a good reputation for quality, and the denizens of various forums seem to think they are the are some of the good guys in the business.

Monday night, they took to Facebook to try to explain why they think the Ares Armor raid occurred:
In regards to the 80% fiasco at Ares Armor, the legality of 80% receivers, and how you can avoid the ATF knocking on your door for buying an “80% receiver” instead of an 80% receiver.

Clemson SC Pub Bashes Concealed Carry Permit Holders, With Predictable Results

 View image on Twitter

Well, that went over well.

The backlash against the pub has been immediate and overwhelming. They’ve apparently felt compelled to take down their Facebook page, and various online restaurant ranking services (Yelp, FoursquareTripAdvisor) have starting to downrate them because of their sentiments.

The owners of Backstreets Pub and Deli in Clemson, SC, is free to hold any opinion they desire about gun owners in general, and concealed carry permit holders in specific. They should probably keep in mind, however, that gun owners are a large percentage of the population and tend to support one another.

Insurance Experts on Obamacare Premiums: Some will find theirs doubling/tripling leading up to the November elections.

The coming spike in health insurance costs contradicts statements made by embattled Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius who said, "The increases are far less significant than what they were prior to the Affordable Care Act."

One senior insurance executive told The Hill that his company is planning to triple its premiums for its Obamacare customers, stating, "I think everybody knows that the way the exchange has rolled out ... is going to lead to higher costs." The official added, "We're exasperated. All of these major delays on very significant portions of the law are going to change what it's going to cost."

Guns Rights Victory in Delaware

Civil Rights Victory in Delaware

In response to a question from the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, The Delaware Supreme Court has ruled in Doe v. Wilmington Housing Authority that Section 20 of the Delaware Constitution, passed in 1987, is more extensive than 3rd Circuit precedent recognizes for the 2nd Amendment, which does not extend outside the home. Delaware’s Section 20 explicitly recognizes a right to carry outside the home for self-defense.

At issue is Wilmington Housing Authority’s revised regulations on guns, which prohibits carrying firearms in common areas. The Delaware Supreme Court argues they violate Section 20 of the Delaware Constitution. The Court uses intermediate scrutiny here, but they do a much more honest analysis at that level than most courts, which have really just instituted rational basis review under the guise of intermediate scrutiny. Here’s the Court:

Air Force cadets revolt against removal of Bible verse

USAF revolt

The image above is a Bible verse from Galatians 2:20 that a cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, wrote on the whiteboard outside his bedroom door.

29 cadets and four faculty and staff members found the verse so offensive that they complained to Mikey Weinstein, president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.

He's running neck and neck with Dee$ as the most repulsive POS around.

Weinstein fumed to FoxNews’ Todd Starnes: “Had it been in his room — not a problem. It’s not about the belief. It’s about the time, the place and the manner. It clearly elevated one religious faith over all others at an already virulently hyper-fundamentalist Christian institution. It massively poured fundamentalist Christian gasoline on an already raging out-of-control conflagration of fundamentalist Christian tyranny, exceptionalism and supremacy at [the academy].”

Got Militia?

 http://www.classicfirearms.com/media/wysiwyg/m9130round-crate.jpg
A case from Classic Arms would do it.

I like to torture myself in the morning by listening to the windbags on National Proletarian Radio, the Voice of Dull International Socialism and Self-Important Do-Gooding. This morning they interviewed the somewhat less than sparkling US Senator from Illinois, Dick Durbin, to solicit his Deep Thoughts about in Ukraine, where he has just paid a meddling visit. This is similar to my visiting your house, complaining about the food and the furniture arrangement and telling you your neighbor called your wife "ugly," but let that go.

What caught my ear was this billion bucks the US is going to give/loan to Ukraine, part of which they will spend on military. Of course, there's no way a Ukrainian army could stand up to the entire Russian army, so that's all a colossal waste of money and of possibly of lives.

Then it hit me: it would be cheaper to buy every man in the country a rifle and a pistol, and a pistol for every woman, and teach 'em all how to make IEDs. Come to think of it, we could do the same in the US. Nobody in his right mind -- other than the present US government -- would take on a fight like that against a whole nation. And it would be far cheaper than a professional military. In the US, say half the 300 million folks are men, 2/3 old enough to handle a rifle. Buy 'em all a rifle with 1,000 rounds for $200 & teach 'em how to use it. That's an army of 100 million men for only $20 billion, and you don't have to pay 'em a cent of retirement. Militia makes sense, professional army doesn't.

But what do I know? I'm no mor'n a natural born fool from Tennessee where we don't get to print our own money and know better than to meddle in other people's business for they might shoot you. We're nice, but we ain't that nice.
