To Our Politicians: ALL OF THEM

I write this post with a great tear in my heart and a tsunami of tears over the death of our nation, while at the same time the flame in that same heart, my gut, and the very soul of my being incinerates those tears so fast there isn’t even steam as a result. That flame is caused by my anger at you, elected officials …ALL of you for killing our nation.  THE USA no longer exists. All of YOU broke the last straw.

We, the people, watched as you took our freedoms over Covid. We watched as our businesses were closed, and then burned to the ground in the name of Antifa and BLM. Then we watched as you took a knee, shredded our history, and renamed our streets within days to appease these protesters burning our businesses down. We watched as you told them give us some time to work on things.  Then, we watched some more as you destroyed election integrity, and turned a blind eye and deaf ear while making a bunch of noise like half of you pretended to be  outraged over it.  We watched as the courts abdicated their duty to act as a checks and balance system by refusing to even look at any evidence of fraud all while you were screaming. “LAW AND ORDER”. Finally, we gave you time to straighten the issue out.  We watched again as you didn’t listen.

Currently, an Illinois proposal entitled “Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leading Standards” has been approved by the Illinois Board of Education. Should it be approved by the Illinois General Assembly, Illinois teachers will be required to teach both history and civics according to what amounts to “woke” standards. Failure to do so could result in a teacher losing his teaching license in Illinois. Should it pass, this mandate would be likely implemented nationwide.

If that happens, the death knell will have been sounded for honest historical and civics inquiry and teaching, something that Americans cannot and should not tolerate.

Professor David K. Clements released a provocative video in response to a letter sent to the entire faculty of NMSU from Dr. John Floros, the university’s president. Clements described the letter as “regurgitating” the narrative “in the media” regarding the election and the January 6 violence at the U.S. Capital.

Congress ‘Put Itself Above the Law’ in Trump Impeachment: Dershowitz

 

Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz said Saturday that congressional lawmakers are violating the U.S. Constitution in what he described as a “show trial” against former President Donald Trump.

The House impeachment brief (pdf) alleges that Trump incited a mob to breach the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 while lawmakers were convened in a joint session to consider certification of electoral college votes.

Trump’s legal team denies the allegation and argues in a memo (pdf) that the trial is unconstitutional because Trump is no longer president. The team also argues that Trump exercised his First Amendment rights in calling into question the results of the election.

Donald Trump Jr.., the son of former President Donald Trump, said that efforts from the former president and his team to advance the interests of the United States are continuing. He characterized such efforts as “a movement of the people … against the elite.”

In a video on Trump Jr.’s social media accounts, headlined “here’s what comes next for our amazing movement,” he told supporters, “Just want to make sure everyone knows, guys, we are not done yet.”

Trump Jr. then shared a recent video clip that showed his father walking off the golf course while saying, “We haven’t finished yet.”

For weeks the FBI, Democrats, and the fake news media have insisted there was no Antifa or far-left activist infiltration of the January 6th protests where activists stormed the US Capitol.

We already know this is false.  The individuals who entered the US Capitol and caused damage on January 6th were not all Trump supporters.
