Obamacare ‘Cheerleader’ Now Realizes She Can’t Afford Health Insurance for Herself and Young Son
Via Lone Voice
An Oregon mother, who has been a
“cheerleader” for Obamacare, now says she can’t afford health insurance
for her and her 18-month-old son due to regulations included in the
Affordable Care Act.
Kate Holly, 33, told KOIN-TV
that she has been a strong supporter of Obamacare because she thought
the health care law “was designed for people in my situation.” The
mother, a freelance yoga instructor, joins a growing list of Obamacare
supporters who have expressed shock that they can’t afford to enroll in
the law they supported.

Bible-Based Alternative to Boy Scouts Launches After Policy Change for Gay Scouts
With the new year came a new group for
youth, based on Christian principles, as a response to the Boy Scouts of
America’s decision to allow gay scouts. Trail Life USA formally began
operating Jan. 1.
The new organization’s motto is “Walk
Worthy,” taken from Colossians 1:10 “that you may walk worthy of the
Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God.”
“Our vision is to be the premier
national character development organization for young men which produces
godly and responsible husbands, fathers and citizens,” the
organization’s website states.
Though it’s based on Christian and biblical principles, its open to people of all faiths.

GLOCK Introduces the G42 .380 ACP
Stop the rumor mill and start the presses. Whether due to poor OPSEC or great marketing, the word has been leaking out for a few weeks that Glock will introduce a new .380 ACP version of its ultra popular pistols dubbed the Glock 42. The Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show begins January 15th and is the traditional launch point. That being the case, Media Day runs on the 14th and Cheaper Than Dirt! will have its cameras rolling with the first range reviews of the Glock 42 and other popular models.
New models rumored are the Glock 41 and 42. Industry insiders have detailed the Glock 41 as a long slide practical/tactical .45 ACP. This makes sense given the fact that Glock already has the Glock 34 in 9mm and Glock 35 in 40 S&W—both are practical/tactical long slide models. The Glock 41 would round out and balance the offerings.

Kim Jong-Un killed his 'scum' uncle by stripping him naked, throwing him into a cage and leaving him to be eaten alive by a pack of 120 starving dogs
North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un sentenced his uncle to be eaten alive by a pack of 120 wild dogs in a savage punishment for treachery, it has been claimed.
Jang Song-Thaek, 67, along with five close aides, was stripped naked and thrown into a cage of hounds which had been starved for three days, according to new details emerging from China.
The pack of animals spent more than an hour mauling the group in a punishment called 'quan jue', or execution by dogs, a report in Chinese newspaper Wen Wei Po said.

The 124 States of America: What the USA would look like if all the secessionist movements had been successful
Via Michael and NC Renegade
Imagine if all the secessionist movements in the history of the United States were successful.
Imagine if all the proposals put forward for states to withdraw from the union of the Unites States actually went ahead, how would America look today?
Those questions have been answered by a map that predicts the alternate universe of the USA based on all the threats or aspirations to secede from the United States.
The map, created by Mansfield University geogapher professor Andrew Shears, breaks the country up into 124 states.

Shocking no one with a brain, study shows concealed carry states have fewer murders
I’m simply going to quote from the abstract of this study, grinning smugly all the while:
The purpose of the present study is to determine the effects of state-level assault weapons bans and concealed weapons laws on state-level murder rates. Using data for the period 1980 to 2009 and controlling for state and year fixed effects, the results of the present study suggest that states with restrictions on the carrying of concealed weapons had higher gun-related murder rates than other states.

11 State AGs: "The illegal actions by this administration must stop."
Eleven GOP state attorneys general charge that the Obama administration is breaking the law by sidestepping Congress to change the healthcare law, The Hill reports.
In particular, the Republican attorneys general claim the president’s executive action that allows health insurance companies to keep offering insurance plans that have been canceled for not meeting Obamacare rules is "flatly illegal under federal constitutional and statutory law."
"We support allowing citizens to keep their health insurance coverage, but the only way to fix this problem-ridden law is to enact changes lawfully: through Congressional action," the attorneys general wrote in a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

Why there will be war

As the Left foams at the mouth over Phil Robertson, the Christian man who described Almighty God's take on homosexuality and other gross sins, their fear is becoming more and more apparent.
They seem gradually to be realizing that they are a pernicious minority that only thrives because they are bolstered by Obama's morally corrupt federal government; intellectually lightweight media, devoid of principles; and interestingly, a general decency of American people influenced by the nation's Judeo-Christian roots. The masses, however, are becoming increasingly fed up with the Left's imposition of a twisted worldview that does not comport with anything resembling America as it was founded, and they are voicing that sentiment by the thousands. So far, the pushback is with protests
and petitions against amoral multi-million-dollar corporations, such as Cracker Barrel and A&E.
Such benign acts of self-preservation will not continue indefinitely.
If it were not so pathetic, it would be laughable that some leftists actually think that they can dictate to those of us who oppose their worldview how we should say things that offend them.

European Commission To Ban Heirloom Seeds - Criminalize Plants Not Registered With Government
Via Jonathan
The European Commission is changing the European Union’s plant legislation, apparently to enhance food safety across the continent. This move has sparked a heavy opposition from many, saying that the measure will threaten seed diversity and favour large agrochemical businesses. This new law creates new powers to classify and regulate all plant life anywhere in Europe. You can view the entire proposal in the list of sources at the bottom of this article.
The “Plant Reproductive Material Law” regulates all plants. It contains restrictions on vegetables and woodland trees, as well as all other plants of any species. It will be illegal to grow, reproduce, or trade any vegetable seed or tree that has not been been tested and approved by the government, more specifically the “EU Plant Variety Agency.” This agency will be responsible for making a list of approved plants and an annual fee must also be forwarded to the agency if growers would like to keep what they grow on the list. The new law basically puts the government in charge of all plants and seeds in Europe, and prevents home gardeners from growing their own plants from non-regulated seeds. If they did, they would now be considered criminals.
The draft text of the law has already been changed several times due to a large backlash from gardeners.
