Exclusive — Sen. Tom Cotton (101st Airborne Division) ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ Fueling Criticism of Qasem Soleimani Elimination

 

Cotton, who served in Iraq as a *platoon commander in the 101st Airborne Division before his election to Congress, further explained that Soleimani has not only killed hundreds of Americans in Iraq but has also been behind many other acts of brutality against the United States over the years. * (I didn't know that)

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), a staunch ally of President Donald Trump, told Breitbart News on Saturday that he thinks “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is fueling the fervor among Democrats and the establishment media who are criticizing President Trump’s decision to eliminate Iranian Quds Force terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani.

“First and regrettably, the Democrats and the media really do suffer from something like Trump Derangement Syndrome,” Cotton said when asked why the media and left are so upset about this. “They can look at something that is unequivocally good, like removing a terrorist mastermind from the battlefield, and if Donald Trump did it, it must be bad. That’s true in domestic policy for sure, but regrettably it appears to be true in foreign policy and national security matters as well.”

Was the act of secession in 1860-61 treason? This is one of the more important and lasting questions of the War. If so, then the lenient treatment of Confederate officers, political figures, and even the soldiers themselves following the War was a great gesture of magnanimity by a conquering foe never seen in the annals of Western Civilization. If not, then the entire War was an illegal and unconstitutional invasion of a foreign government with the express objective of maintaining a political community by force, an act that represented the antithesis of the American belief in self-government regardless of Abraham Lincoln’s professed admiration for government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”

Bottom Half of Households Nearly 50% Richer Under Trump

The Trump economy is giving the greatest benefits to those who have been at the bottom, according to new data from the Council of Economic Advisers.

Data released by the CEA shows that over 11 quarters from the end of 2016 through the first half of 2019, the net wealth of the top 1 percent of American households rose 13 percent. However, that rise is dwarfed by the 47 percent increase seen by the bottom 50 percent of America’s households over that same period.

Lincoln v. Trump

 

Donald Trump is sometimes tone deaf—often a bull in a china shop—but his alleged missteps are trifles in comparison to Lincoln’ lawlessness and villainy, his criminal coercion of peacefully departing sovereign states. 

 Not that long ago, it seems, Congressional Democrats were calling the Constitution an outdated impediment to “smart,” progressive government, but lately they are professing their high regard for the founding document and its framers.  “Solemn” and “prayerful,” they feign a reluctance to impeach Donald Trump while conducting a ruthless campaign to disenfranchise the 63 million people who voted for him in 2016. In spite of their newfound “originalism,” they attribute his victory over Hillary Clinton to America’s archaic electoral process.  And the Republicans, with their global interventionism and Federal subsidies are hardly more respectful of constitutionality than are the Democrats.  But one GOP congressman, at the House Judiciary Committee’s first impeachment hearing on December 4th— purely by accident —schooled both parties in real American history and the actual high crimes and misdemeanors of another president 160 years ago.

CCTV footage out of Brazil shows a concealed carrier quickly end an armed robbery attempt inside a local post office. The Brazilian concealed carrier puts several rounds right into the head of the robber, emphatically stopping the threat.
