The Historical Folly of “Nothing but Race
At the base of most of the ongoing political debates currently raging in the United Sates there are always, it seems, deeper questions, more philosophical and more historical contexts that need to be examined—what I would call “legacy issues.”
Oftentimes assumptions are made or are disseminated by many self-proclaimed defenders of our traditions—by those “conservative apologists”—that bear little relationship to historical reality, and, in fact, fatally weaken or blur our understanding of it.
Many of these assumptions relate specifically to the conscious creation by the present (neo) conservative movement of a utilizable past that both justifies their present practice and fends off criticism from the hard Left that somehow, because they claim to be “conservative” and presumably defenders of the Constitution and inherited traditions of the country, they partake in forms of “racism,” as well as sexism, homophobia, and white supremacy.

Trump: ‘Tidal Wave’ of Illegal Immigration, Crime Coming If Democrats Win Midterms
President Trump says a “tidal wave” of crime, illegal immigration, and drugs would flood into the United States if a plan by Senate Democrats is ever implemented.
During a campaign rally for Kansas gubernatorial candidate Kris Kobach in Topeka, Kansas, Trump called out Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s (D-CA) plan for open borders that every Senate Democrat has announced they support.“Every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate has signed up for the open borders, and it’s a bill, it’s called the open borders bill, what’s going on and it’s written by… guess who? Dianne Feinstein,” Trump said.

China Empties the Seas

This is the fourth of a series on how China is chewing its way through the wildlife of its Asian neighbors. Here are the others:
China takes more fish out of the world’s seas than the next five countries combined, in fleets underwritten by government agencies.
In fact, China is collapsing the world’s fish stocks. The fish
populations that once abounded along the country’s vast coastline have now all but vanished.
Nor is this scouring taking place only along the Chinese coastline. Today thousands of Chinese ships are trawling international waters from Guinea to Liberia and Senegal to Taiwan, Palau and Fiji and beyond to Chile and even beyond that, Chinese fishing vessels are scouring the seas for anything that swims, vastly underreporting their catches to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.

The forces of darkness and hate have receded just a bit from their full-throated screaming fits surrounding the Kavanaugh confirmation. Their bullying tactics of doxing of Senators and threats of constant harassment of individuals did not yield the outcome they sought. These are the acts of communists determined to destroy the political machinery of the republic.
It is a mistake to believe that the protesters were in the halls of Congress out of some sense of injustice. Communists do not function that way. Communists are proactive, they design (and in many cases, including this one, PAY for) the protest before they have a cause, because it is not an action that communists protest, it is the very functioning of the republic. Their goal is to have ONLY their side heard in any debate and to drive their enemies out of the public square.

Investigate the Senate Democrat Wrecking Machine
How did we get here? The Kavanaugh Supreme Court nomination circus didn’t happen by accident.
The emergence of incredible — and by “incredible,” I mean the literal Merriam-Webster definition of “too extraordinary and improbable to be believed” — accusers in the 11th hour was no mistake.
It is my contention that this grand unearth-and-destroy spectacle was planned, coordinated and facilitated by Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats and their staffers.
After the FBI finishes its Freshmen Booze Investigations, Federal Barfight Interrogations and Fraternity Barfing Incidents probe of every last Yale and Holton Arms acquaintance and publicity hound ever photographed with Judge Brett Kavanaugh, every cog in the Resistance Wrecking Machine must be investigated:

Graham on Senate Hearings: "Never been more pissed"
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Sunday that he has "never been more pissed" than he was during the confirmation proceedings for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, blasting Democrats over their treatment of the judge.
"I‘m happy because the effort to humiliate and railroad a man I’ve known for 20 years … failed. I’m happy that those who destroyed his life fell short," Graham said on "Fox News Sunday."
"I’ve never been more pissed in my life," he continued. "I voted for [Justice Sonia] Sotomayor and [Justice Elena] Kagan. I would’ve never done this to them."
"This was character assassination," he continued. "This was wanting power too much, and to the extent that I came to the aid of this good man and helped defeat this debacle, I’m happy as a clam."

In Today’s World – Would I – Would You Take The Chance?
I have a wife, daughter, and granddaughter. I want them to have a fair and equal opportunity. I want to know if they are attacked, justice will be done. But the world has changed dramatically and not for the better.
Now imagine, I own a business. It is doing well, and I am in need of an assistant. I have just witnessed what false charges have done to the nomination of a supreme Court Judge. I read the headlines. Four dentists accused of rape, totally false charges. I have seen many college students wrongly accused of sexual impropriety, and had their lives destroyed.
Do I take the chance in today’s world and hire a female?
Honestly, as things stand today, I would not. I would hire a man over a women, even if less qualified. Every day working alone in a business with woman. Knowing, no matter what happens I could lose everything. I would not want to risk the possible consequences of a disgruntled employee making a false accusation. I would feel the same, if I had a small all-male team. The overawing danger to the business and each of the men would outweigh the benefit. And that is sad, because just a few weeks ago, I would have. But today I would be terrified to work alone, in my business with a woman. Knowing what one word from her would do.
The fact is that today, a man is guilty, until he can prove, he is innocent. And even when completely exonerated, the damage to character is irreparable. My wife proved that to me just this morning. She said, “I don’t believe he did it, but if he did he better watch out now. Everyone will be watching him.” Not right but it is the world today.

Michael Avenatti Turns Radioactive As Liberals Blame Porn Lawyer For Kavanaugh Confirmation
Via Billy
Following Friday's announcement by Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) that she
would vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, the left
flipped on one of its recent heroes; Michael Avenatti.
In a fiery speech announcing her decision, Collins ripped unsupported claims by Avenatti's client, Julie Swetnick, that Kavanaugh facilitated a Cosby-esque "gang rape" operation while in high school.
Guess he now realizes that he is but a Useful Idiot.
