Why the Arab Spring Will Descend Into an Islamic Ice Age

The much vaunted and praised “Arab Spring,” which took the world by surprise in December 2010 is slowly but surely turning into an Arab winter, which will inexorably become an Arab Islamic Ice Age in the near future. Already, the icicles of pan-Islamism are beginning to form throughout the Maghreb (North Africa), and the West had best come to terms with the reality that the mantra of “free and fair elections” does not translate into Arabic as Western-style democracy.

Ironically, it is the birthplace of the “Arab Spring” — Tunisia — which is already in the midst of turning from Arab secular tyranny into Arab Islamist domination. The largest party in the Tunisian parliament is the “moderate” Islamist party known as Ennahda (Hizb an Nahda), meaning the “Renaissance Party.” When elections were held in October 2011, the party gained a plurality of 90 seats in the 217 member Constituent Assembly.

Ennahda was formed by Rashid Ghannouch i, who after 22 years in exile, returned to a hero’s welcome in January 2011, after the overthrow of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. Mr. Ghannouchi, who has been described as a “moderate” by many political pundits, has already called for the “end of Israel.” He has compared his party with Turkey’s Islamist AKP (“Justice and Development Party”) led by the Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has nearly turned Turkey into a de facto Islamic republic and brought relations with Israel to the brink of severance. Alas, the much hailed (and perhaps failed) “Jasmine Revolution” might well have paved the way for the beginning of Arab “Islamocracies.” That is, Islamic republics replacing secular pan-Arab socialist regimes, via “free and fair elections.”

This is just another attempt by the Winston Smith Media to shut down criticism of Obamsky by making any negative characterization of him raaaaacist and there fore off limits. Fortunately it seems the more they try this tactic the less effective it is. This of course enrages Al Sharpton and the other racialists raising the pitch of their shrieking ever higher. With any luck this will damage their vocal cords and exhaustion from their tantrums will leave them lying on the sidewalk their vocal cords cracked and bleeding, croaking barely audible, raaaaacist..raaaaacist like the demented mantra it is. Meanwhile we'll just step over them like any other derelict and be about our business.

The slogan is a multiple entendre, but one of those entendres, intentionally or not, is evocative of a nasty racial stereotype about black men.
When I first saw the banner this afternoon, the multiple meanings were clear: President Obama‘s policies aren’t working, the Obama presidency isn’t working, President Obama…isn’t working, as in, doing any work. That’s not a nice thing to say about any president, but like it or not, it becomes a more loaded accusation when leveled at our first black president.
Just to be sure it wasn’t just me, though, I asked several friends about the banner, and four out of four pointed out, unprompted, the stereotype of the “lazy,” “shiftless” black man. One of the people I called was cable news fixture Goldie Taylor, who, upon hearing my description of the banner, said “Are you kidding me? You have got to be kidding me.”

Well, that resolves it.  Tommy Christopher and Goldie Taylor have spoken.

USAID training foreign workers for English-speaking jobs

 Besides the obvious, English is the second language in the Philippines and most speak it fluently.

While the president has been urging “insourcing,” the government has been sending money to the Philippines to train foreign workers for jobs in English-speaking call centers.

According to New York Democratic Rep. Tim Bishop and North Carolina Republican Rep. Walter Jones, this is unacceptable and “shocking.”

The pair are calling on the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to immediately suspend what is known as the Job Enabling English Proficiency (JEEP) program.

According to Jones’ office, in 2010, after the two men compelled USAID to end a similar training program in Sri Lanka, the agency assured the congressmen that they would “conduct a review to ensure the project will not take any jobs away from Americans.”

There Is Not Going To Be A Solution To Our Economic Problems On The National Level

 For those waiting for our economic problems to be solved, you can quit holding your breath.  There is simply not going to be a solution to our economic problems on the national level.  So why is that the case?  Well, it is because the economic policies of both major political parties are very, very similar when you take a close look at them.  Yes, that statement may sound downright bizarre to many Americans, but it is true.  Both major political parties supported the Wall Street bailouts, both of them fully support the job-killing "free trade" globalization agenda, both of them have dramatically increased the national debt when in power, both of them fully support the currency-killing policies of the Federal Reserve, and neither major political party would get rid of the income tax and the IRS.  And that is just for starters.  Yes, there are some minor differences when it comes to taxing and spending between the two parties, but the truth is that they are a lot more similar on economic issues than they are different.  What we desperately need on the national level is a fundamental change in direction when it comes to economic policy, but we simply are not going to get that from either the Democrats or the Republicans.  That means that there is no hope that the economic storm that is coming will be averted.

So why are the Democrats and the Republicans so similar on these issues?  Well, a big reason is because of who they are trying to please.

The reality of the matter is that most politicians do not really care about what you or I have to say.  Instead, what they are really concerned about is getting as much money for their campaigns as possible so that they can keep getting elected.

When you take a close look at the results of federal elections over the past several decades, it quickly becomes apparent that the candidate that raises the most money almost always wins.

So most politicians have learned to please those that fund their campaigns so that the money will keep rolling in.

Yes, there are a few candidates that are willing to rebel against "the system", but they are few and far between and the major parties tend to marginalize them.

Once again in 2012, political races will overwhelmingly be won by those that raise the most cash.  The following is from Politifact....

‘I shouldn’t be alive’ New York City man survives 3-day ordeal in wilderness

It was written by her son, Todd Peebler, to friends while he was recovering at St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center from a nearly fatal three-day trek through deep snow and cold water while lost in the wilderness northeast of Sun Valley.
 
Todd Peebler's adventure started while he was driving the last leg of a trip to relocate to the Wood River Valley from New York City. On April 2, following the prompts of his GPS unit, he drove his Audi A6 from Mackay toward Trail Creel Summit, not knowing the sometimes-treacherous road is closed in winter. Disoriented from a medical condition, Peebler drove toward Trail Creek Summit and eventually his vehicle got stuck in deep snow.

On March 30, I started my drive out West from New York City to Sun Valley, Idaho. It was a nice and easy trip until I crossed the Rockies in Montana, and then the snow came and with it absolutely no visibility. So after three days of driving at least 16 hours a day, I woke up tired but ready to go on Monday morning, April 2. According to my GPS I had just a couple of hundred miles, which for what I was doing daily was nothing—it equated to a busy morning, in my mind. However, I had no idea how busy my life was about to get.

I drive a 2005 Audi A6 and apparently the maps for the Western states have not really been updated on those cars, because as soon as I got to Idaho I got lost. The morning started by my getting pulled over at a checkpoint by a U.S. military soldier armed with an AR-15. He told me I was lost and I agreed with him and asked him how I could get to Sun Valley. He told me a route and when I started on that route my GPS picked it up right away and I was off. The GPS said I had only 34 miles until I hit Sun Valley. All was well. Then my girlfriend, Jackie, called me and she said that I sounded funny, and because there was no one on the road I decided to test my blood sugar, which was a smart move. The count on my blood sugar was 69, which for those of you who know me know that is getting low and action has to be taken. Well I began to drink a Coca-Cola and then my memory goes black. I do not remember what happened for the next two hours but apparently I followed my GPS to the turn and that led me down a mountain pass called Trail Creek Road, which then unbeknownst to me is closed every winter because the road is too hard to maintain as it is so high up.

Well I woke up or came to at about 1:30 p.m.

What Is British Freedom?

We will never surrender Britain’s ancient and bloodily-defended Freedoms to totalitarian political correctness, the hard-left, Islamic fundamentalists or the unelected European Commissars who are systematically dismantling our country, our culture, and our much fought for Freedoms piece by piece.

It’s not just a catch-phrase or the name of our party, it actually means a great deal.
Think about it:

• Why is Britain Free?
• What is Freedom?
• What is Britishness?

Freedom is the ability to think, say and do what comes naturally, without fear of persecution.
It’s democracy – true democracy.

It’s freedom of thought, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom to fail and freedom to succeed.

So, where and how did we get these freedoms?

Well, that’s where the ‘Britain’ bit comes in. It came about because our ancestors fought and died for it. They stood for weeks or even months on end in hellish, waterlogged frozen trenches only to come out and face certain death in order to deliver us the Freedom that we sadly take for granted today.

That, in a nutshell, is British Freedom.

So, our question is this:

Why should those who gave — and still give — so much have to pay for the right to have a say in how the country they fought for, and their relatives died for, is run?

The simple and obvious answer is that they shouldn’t. For this reason the British Freedom Party will offer free lifetime membership to anyone who has served their country. This will include full voting rights and an exclusive ‘Armed Services Membership Card”.

Just because it requires no financial outlay, it is not “free”. The sacrifice and courage displayed by our servicemen is way beyond mere financial cost. Winston Churchill summed it up perfectly when he stated “Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to so few.”
This is precisely why British Freedom stands foursquare behind our servicemen and women.

We will never surrender Britain’s ancient and bloodily-defended Freedoms to totalitarian political correctness, the hard-left, Islamic fundamentalists or the unelected European Commissars who are systematically dismantling our country, our culture, and our much fought for Freedoms piece by piece.

If we allow this to happen, then we will be guilty of a great betrayal — the betrayal of all those who sacrificed so much in order that we might live in Freedom and Liberty.

The next time you pause beside a war memorial and look at the countless names of the young men who died for you, your country, your culture and your freedom, you should ask yourself whether the Britain they died for is worth the same to you.

We are British. We are Free. We are British Freedom.

Lies, Lies, Everywhere are Lies

........ask yourself, and if you can, ask a veteran.

Did they ever, in their wildest dreams, while on the Pacific beaches or in the French Hedgerows, dream for a moment that this nation would degrade to the extent that it has now?  Could they have envisioned the Treyvon Martin case, the Second Term Obama Amnesty Act, or the Orwellian State that we live in now, one that Stalin could only have dreamed of?  Did they ever envision that they were fighting for a nation that would grow increasingly Marxist with the march of years?  Did they ever envision a time when their values and worldviews would be considered obsolete and offensive?  Could they ever have imagined where we are now compared to where they were then?

Did American soldiers fight for this?

I say they did not, based on opinion, study, and personal interaction.

And so it is with a desire for truth that I look further than history-book and American propaganda for what has transpired in recent history.  What I find is lies.  Lies, everywhere lies.

Lies to you.  Lies to me.

Lies to thousands of young American boys as they rushed to fight in the fields of Europe and the Pacific beaches.  For the second time.  Lies to the citizens of America as their tax dollars went to arm the Bolshevik regime in the USSR.  Lies as FDR transformed the US government irrevocably into a budding marxist state.

They continue.

More lies.  More swindles.  More and more.

Still have your kids in those government-run schools?

 This Friday, a national “Day of Silence” protest enjoined students across the country to take a vow of silence in protest of harassment of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual) students:

The Day of Silence is a student-led national event that brings attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. Students from middle school to college take a vow of silence in an effort to encourage schools and classmates to address the problem of anti-LGBT behavior by illustrating the silencing effect of bullying and harassment on LGBT students and those perceived to be LGBT.

The protest was put together by the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a group that provides training workshops for educators and community organizers to “protect student from bullying and harassment.” Significant is the use of the “anti-bullying” message, a carefully selected vehicle increasingly being used to attack those who do not go along with the active promotion of LGBT issues in a public-school environment:

The issue at hand is the bullying, harassment, name-calling and violence that students see and face in our schools daily.

Infected PCs may lose Internet in July

For computer users, a few mouse clicks could mean the difference between staying online and losing Internet connections this summer.

Unknown to most of them, their problem began when international hackers ran an online advertising scam to take control of infected computers around the world. In a highly unusual response, the FBI set up a safety net months ago using government computers to prevent Internet disruptions for those infected users. But that system is to be shut down.

The FBI is encouraging users to visit a website run by its security partner, http://www.dcwg.org, that will inform them whether they're infected and explain how to fix the problem. After July 9, infected users won't be able to connect to the Internet.

Feds can't deport illegal immigrant arrested 35 times in Alabama

One Alabama police department is fed up with the feds.

Officers in Hueytown arrested an illegal immigrant on drug charges recently. When they ran his name through the system, they learned he had previously been arrested 34 times in Alabama.

Despite his record, the government refuses to deport him. Federal agents said Sofyan Eldani is from Palestine, a country the United States doesn't recognize.

When Hueytown Police Chief Chuck Hagler contacted ICE agents about the recent arrest, he wasn't expecting the response he got. Sofyan Eldani was not only in this country illegally, but had a criminal history that goes back 12 years. 

ICE wouldn't do anything according to Chief Hagler.

"They sent us a piece of paper called a detainer... basically telling him we are going to deport you," Hagler said. According to the police chief, ICE agents told him Eldani will "'probably just laugh at you when you give it to him, because he knows we're not going to come get him.'" 

In Jefferson and Shelby counties, Eldani has been arrested 35 times for different crimes, ranging from bad checks to assault.

Hagler said about Eldani's seven page rap sheet, "It's not a matter of he came over here, there was a misunderstanding of our laws, or he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. There are a lot of reasons you could legitimately say somebody might have a brush with the law. There's a reason somebody may have one or two brushes with the law. When you start getting into the double digit arrests, you are dealing with a criminal."

Since Eldani is from Palestine, he is a problem of the state of Alabama. Hagler said he refuses to sit by and accept that.

"Red Army soldiers don't believe in 'individual liaisons' with German women," wrote the playwright Zakhar Agranenko in his diary when serving as an officer of marine infantry in East Prussia. "Nine, ten, twelve men at a time - they rape them on a collective basis." 

The Soviet armies advancing into East Prussia in January 1945, in huge, long columns, were an extraordinary mixture of modern and medieval: tank troops in padded black helmets, Cossack cavalrymen on shaggy mounts with loot strapped to the saddle, lend-lease Studebakers and Dodges towing light field guns, and then a second echelon in horse-drawn carts. The variety of character among the soldiers was almost as great as that of their military equipment. There were freebooters who drank and raped quite shamelessly, and there were idealistic, austere communists and members of the intelligentsia appalled by such behaviour.

Beria and Stalin, back in Moscow, knew perfectly well what was going on from a number of detailed reports. One stated that "many Germans declare that all German women in East Prussia who stayed behind were raped by Red Army soldiers". Numerous examples of gang rape were given - "girls under 18 and old women included".

Marshal Rokossovsky issued order No 006 in an attempt to direct "the feelings of hatred at fighting the enemy on the battlefield." It appears to have had little effect. There were also a few arbitrary attempts to exert authority. The commander of one rifle division is said to have "personally shot a lieutenant who was lining up a group of his men before a German woman spreadeagled on the ground". But either officers were involved themselves, or the lack of discipline made it too dangerous to restore order over drunken soldiers armed with submachine guns.

Officials: Trayvon case cited in racial beating

A man charged with a hate crime in Oak Park this week told police he was so upset about the Trayvon Martin case that he beat up a man because he was white, authorities said. Alton L. Hayes III, 18, of Oak Park, and a 15-year-old Chicagoan — both black — walked up behind the 19-year-old victim and pinned his arms to his side early Tuesday, police said. Hayes then picked up a large tree branch, pointed it at the man and said, “Empty your pockets, white boy.”

They rifled through his pockets, threw him to the ground and punched him in the head and back “numerous times,” police said.

They ran off, but officers sent to the scene spotted them and arrested them.

After he was arrested, Hayes told police he was upset by the racially charged Trayvon Martin case in Florida and beat the man because he was white, Cook County state’s attorney’s office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton said, citing court records.

Hayes was charged with attempted robbery, aggravated battery and a hate crime, all felonies.
