What's the difference between the men who connected the coasts and borders with rail lines and men today who wail and rail against Government while taking hundreds of thousands each year in medical and other handouts?
What's the difference between men who strung telegraph cable from each corner to every nook and cranny of the country, and the men who today use the grandson of the telegraph system to swipe their EBT cards?
When you see 40 and more people joining together to manufacture a product as a means to a better life for all involved, what sort of men and women do you think of first?
Do you think the men and women who built America were "You can't do that!" kind of people?
No, my friends. It is the "You can't do that!" people today who are ruining America, suckling her teets dry and tearing down the productive.
I choose Jefferson. I choose the voluntary right to freely associate. I choose the Liberty to engage in Free Enterprise. I choose to be the Master of my life, rather than to hold my hand out for the scraps stolen by force and redistributed to the mentally enslaved in return for their subjugation.
In just a few hundred years since the first pilgrims landed on this continent, America rose to the pinnacle of world power, to the highest quality of life the world had ever seen, to the highest calorie count per dollar anywhere in the world...by men and women who were probably told You can't do that!
Real Americans dismiss the "You can't do that!" crowd. One of my favorite phrases these days is this one, below.
Real Americans work for the fortunes this life has to offer. When you see hard work, courage and the risk/reward attacked, you are not watching real Americans. You are watching the worst among us.

Axelrod Sought to Intimidate Gallup When Findings Favored Romney
Emails between senior officials of the Gallup Organization show senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod attempting to subtly intimidate the polling firm when its numbers were unfavorable to the president.
After Gallup declined to change its polling methodology, the U.S. Department of Justice hit it with an unrelated lawsuit — alleging it had defrauded the government, The Daily Caller reports.
And, weeks after announcing its filing of the lawsuit, the agency that is headed by Attorney General Eric Holder has yet to officially serve Gallup.
“We have not been served with the complaint,” a senior Gallup official told The Daily Caller. “I think they are drafting an amended complaint, but we cannot file an answer or motion to dismiss until we’ve been officially served.
“We obviously have a copy that has been distributed online, but until it is served, it is not official,” the Gallup official said.
Justice Department officials did not respond to queries from The Daily Caller regarding the lawsuit.
As for the emails, Axelrod tweeted in April that a poll showing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney with a 48-43 percent lead over Obama was “saddled with some methodological problems,” The Daily Caller reports.
As such, Axelrod directed his Twitter followers to read a report in the National Journal criticizing Gallup polls that showed Romney ahead.

The folks who will be at the PATCON in Tarboro, NC on 4 October know quite well that the "Cause" referred to was not ever slavery. It was the cause of Liberty, which cause springs up in generation after generation of men who are tormented by Government Gone Wild. We have been able to see two previews of the next four years during the past week of TV. I call it Government Gone Wild Version Tweedledum and Version Tweedledee. I would bet my Life, Fortune, and Sacred Honor that there will be better candidates at the PATCON next month than those seen on the screen last week.
I have paid for my chunk of that hog's nephew but like everything else, you have to show up. Life is dynamic. I may be there on Oct. 4. Rasmussen Employment Index Falls to Ten Month Low
The Rasmussen Employment Index fell nine points in August to 72.0, the lowest level of confidence since October 2011. Worker confidence in the labor market is now roughly the same as it was in the month following the Wall Street meltdown in the fall of 2008.
Generally speaking, a decrease in the Rasmussen Employment Index suggests the upcoming government reports on job creation will be weaker than the prior month’s report.

Third Yosemite visitor dies of hantavirus; eight now infected
Two more cases of hantavirus have been linked to Yosemite National Park, including one that resulted in the death of a West Virginia resident, officials announced Thursday.
Three people have now died of the rare, rodent-borne disease after visiting the park this summer; five others have been sickened.
Yosemite officials announced the two additional cases; the death was confirmed by the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department in West Virginia, which said that a Kanawha County resident who visited the park "in recent months" died of the disease.
Yosemite officials previously traced the cases to the "signature tent cabins" in the park's popular Curry Village campground, saying a design flaw allowed mice to get inside the walls of the insulated cabins. But Thursday, park officials said that although seven of the cases had been linked to the cabins, one was believed to have originated in the High Sierra Camps, a different area of the park.
Public health agencies across the U.S. have been warned about the outbreak, and alerts were issued internationally this week. The national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention initially said 10,000 people who stayed in the signature tent cabins between June 10 and Aug. 24 were at risk; that number could rise now that a case originated outside Curry Village.
Spread through urine, droppings or saliva of infected rodents, hantavirus takes one to six weeks before causing symptoms in humans, officials said. The disease is generally transmitted when people come in contact with an enclosed area that has been infested by mice.More @ L.A. Now

Ngapuhi leader David Rankin says under the Treaty of Waitangi, Maori might have a claim to the wind.
He says the precedent has been set with Maori claims to water.
"They're all resources," Mr Rankin told Newstalk ZB yesterday. "The wind is a resource. What turns those turbines on those wind farms?"
Mr Rankin says hapu representatives are planning to establish a pan-tribal body to manage shares in commercial wind-generated electricity, and to exercise a casting vote on where wind turbines can be located.
He says article two of the Treaty of Waitangi justifies Maori entitlement to the wind.
"Traditionally, the wind was regarded as a deity in Maori society, and Maori do not consider the Crown have the right to use it without Maori consent."

And this is only the end result of what was apparently a long series of fraud and dirty dealing by the Republican Establishment (of which Romney is part and parcel) to ensure that Ron Paul and the Tea Party had NO influence on Romney's coronation. (No, Joyce, it's NOT just the Ron Paul people--it's ALL of the grassroots, non-Eastern Seaboard/Ivy League Establishment RINOs that have been actively and throughly screwed over.) As horrible as Obama is, how are these people any better? And, given all this, just why should they get your vote come November?
