Missouri Democrats Introduce Bill to Confiscate Assault Weapons in 90 Days

 

While everyone’s attention is on President Obama and the federal government’s attempt to strip Americans of the Second Amendment rights, politicians at the state level are trying to enact their own anti-gun laws without the general public knowing it.

Missouri Democrats have proposed a bill that would require everyone in the state who owns an assault weapon and/or high capacity magazine to turn them in within 90 days of the passage of the bill.

Sponsored by first term Democrat Rep. Rory Ellinger, from part of St. Louis County, House Bill 545 is a direct violation of the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.  Like every other screaming frightened liberal, Ellinger and his co-sponsors have no concept of what an assault weapon really is.  His bill reads in part: [emphasis mine]

Parents Complain About School Ad Excluding Whites From Tutoring Program

 

A school principal said no white children were allowed at an after-school tutoring program, and now some parents call it discrimination.

The principal at Mission Viejo Elementary in Aurora sent a letter telling parents the program is only for students of color. Parents CBS4 talked with said they were shocked to see, in this day and age, what they consider to be segregation.

“I was infuriated. I didn’t understand why they would include or exclude certain groups,” said parent Nicole Cox, who is white.

Abuse of power or just the human side of authorities

I mentioned several times in last few days that we do not need to label everything, all that matters is what impact it can have on us.

What I meant is we do not need to know why something is happening right away but know something is going on and definitely we need to be prepared for results of that. Again like in all other articles I do not want to judge right or wrong here, just talk about some experiences and give you some things to maybe think about.

I read many times in comments and on different blogs and forums questions and speculations about what authorities gonna do when SHTF, or how police gonna react and what military gonna do. So there is a whole different set of options and opinions, but great majority of them are having the opinion based on mindset that they are used to. They think like before SHTF even though SHTF changes everything into real survival situation with whole different set of rules. And that makes big difference.

I had the idea to write about this because of the Chris Dorner case. Case is interesting because of many things. It shows what trouble one person can do (and now imagine many Chris Dorners start fighting authorities..) and also how authorities try to deal with the troublemaker.

If we are talking about police now, we can agree or disagree that police is there to serve and protect. That really depends on where you live of course. In some countries police are part of problem but in general we can say any authorities are here to make difference between order and chaos.

SC Attorney General: Come Get the Guns!

 n an opinion requested by Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews, SC Attorney General Allan Wilson suggest that if federal gun confiscation was ordered that neither state law nor state law officials may interfere or otherwise impede federal law enforcement officers as they perform their lawful duties.

Sighting many examples of case-law (incremental social engineering by the use of precedent to move public policy) Wilson makes the case for federal supremacy, when and if the federal government should choose to enforce, whatever law that is passed. The seven page opinion was prompted when concerned residents asked the sheriff if he would take their guns if federal law required it. “A lot of sheriffs want to be able to fall back on what the AG says on what we lawfully have to do or don’t have to do,” Matthews said in a State paper interview. The report also states Matthews said it’s pretty clear that sheriffs do not enforce federal laws, and he doesn’t believe that he can stop federal agents from coming into his county to enforce them.

With this opinion by the SCAG, state law enforcement will not stand in the way of gun confiscation.
