Last week, the Ninth Circuit continued its program of LawFare and
obstruction directed against the Trump administration in general and the
enforcement of immigration laws in particular.
A year ago, the Department of Homeland Security instituted it Migrant Protection Protocols,
or MPP. The overall purpose was to disincentivize human trafficking in
illegal immigrants along our southern border. Thanks to policies
instituted during the last couple of years of the Obama administration
and the actions of a handful of federal judges who seem hellbent on
ensuring that our immigration laws are impossible to enforce, we have
seen the character of illegal immigrants along the border change from
predominantly single Mexican adults to family units that are mostly not
from Mexico but use Mexico as their staging point for their attempt to
cross the border. When they are apprehended, because of court decisions,
the family unit is released on parole within the United States and are
on the honor system to show back up for their immigration hearing.
Seven
Haskell brothers would go on to serve in the Confederate Army, and while
leading his battalion of sharpshooters at Gettysburg, William was killed in
action. In a postwar memoir, his brother John C. Haskell described William as “deeply and simply religious as
any man ever was, never obtruding it on anyone out of place, but never failing
to assert it in the right place. More than one clergyman has told me how
William’s life in the army had converted him and made him devote his whole life
to the church.” Also: "Seven Blackbirds"

Daniel Baker (1791-1857)
is all but forgotten today, but in the first half of the nineteenth century
this Presbyterian minister was a well-known and profoundly influential
evangelist in America. Born in Midway,
Georgia, he was educated at Hampden Sydney College in Virginia and at
Princeton. He held several pastorates, including
one in Savannah, Georgia, but spent most of his life in the ministry as an
itinerant evangelist, traveling to many parts of the country including Ohio,
Alabama, and the Carolinas. In 1849, he
founded Austin College in Texas.
Dr. Baker’s preaching
sparked major religious awakenings in South Carolina, most significantly in the
1830s in Beaufort District, where he was responsible for the conversion of a
number of young men who would go on to become influential ministers and hold
high office in their respective denominations. William J. Grayson, editor of the Beaufort Gazette, wrote of Dr. Baker’s
services at Episcopal and Baptist churches in Gillisonville, Grahamville, and
Beaufort, proclaiming that “never, surely, since the days of the Apostles has
more fervid zeal, or ardent piety, or untiring labour been devoted by a
Christian minister to his cause.”
Strep
is routinely sensitive to ampicillin and amoxicillin, second best is
erythromycin (azithrro). Pneumonia is decently covered with
azithromycin. Cipro is only good for gastrointestinal issues (and UTIs
which are GI bugs). Sinus infections tend to be covered by
trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, although penicillins and cephalexin can
work in some cases. Clindamycin is a next best, but has a higher rate
of complications.
Cephalexin is decent for some UTIs.
Doxycycline is mostly for urethritis (think STD) or as anti inflammatory for acne/leprosy, etc. Minocycline is mostly for acne or rosacea.
I'm
not sure what the "correct" answer would be for this chart, and I'm
quite certain that the answer has changed since that chart was printed
(I know it has changed since I went to med school).

Please
help me complete this matrix. Please correlate the following
antibiotics in the left column with the "common" conditions across the
row on the top. Please correlate with a "1" being the best option, "2"
being the second, and "3" being the one to try when the others don't
work. Any common infections I'm missing that should be included? I will compile and publish in a week or so.
China is likely using lungs taken from living
political prisoners to treat coronavirus patients, a doctoral researcher
told Breitbart News, confirming revelations by a Chinese labor camp
survivor during an event on Capitol Hill Tuesday.
China targets
imprisoned religious minorities for organ harvesting, particularly from
its Falun Gong and predominantly Muslim Uyghur communities.
Chinese labor camp survivor Yu Ming is a practitioner of Falun Gong, a
spiritual movement that Beijing considers a dangerous anti-communist
cult.
At this critical period when the publicly feared coronavirus is
amplifying in numbers worldwide, it’s clear the Taiwanese government has
done something right in its containment measures.
By any measure, Taiwan should have been the second-hardest-hit area
of the coronavirus outbreak outside mainland China. Taiwan is less than
100 miles away from mainland China and receives an estimated 3 million
mainland tourists annually. Furthermore, more than 1 million Taiwanese
travel to mainland China each year.
The expansive travel volume across the Taiwan strait reached its peak
during the recent lunar New Year celebration in January, as it always
has. Yet this densely populated island of 23 million people has only 44
confirmed cases of the virus to date, and just one death so far.
Taiwan hasn’t experienced the need to cancel schools nor lock down
major cities. At this critical period when the publicly feared
coronavirus is amplifying in numbers worldwide, it’s clear the Taiwanese
government has done something right in its containment measures.
Monday, Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson urge calm but not
complacency regarding the response to the coronavirus threat to the
country’s well-being.
Carlson opened his Monday broadcast, criticizing both those who are
hyping the threat and downplaying playing it. He also suggested
rethinking the United States’ relationship with China when it comes to
relying upon products the nation manufactures.
The moment caught on camera between former VP and current Democratic
frontrunner Joe Biden and an autoworker who dared question him has gone
more than viral. At this point, the question is whether or not the left
can spin the moment to their advantage.
The problem is that it’s hard to do that when Biden was literally caught threatening physical violence against the autoworker.
