Martin Luther King Day and the Destruction of the American Republic

......King probably plagiarized as much as 40 % of his Boston University Ph.D. dissertation [cf. Theodore Pappas, Plagiarism and the Culture War: The Writings of Martin Luther King, Jr, and Other Prominent Americans, 1998 and Martin Luther King Jr Plagiarism Story, 1994], or that he worked closely with known Communists throughout his life, or that he advocated American defeat in Vietnam while praising Ho Chi Minh, or that he implicitly countenanced violence and Marxism......

For a complete understanding of King’s association and cooperation with American Communists and his endorsement of Vietnamese Communism, as well as his putative endorsement of Marxism here in the United States while condemning the free enterprise system, these two items are essential reading:

Dr. Samuel Francis, “The King Holiday and Its Meaning,” February 26, 2015.

Dr. Samuel Francis, “Remarks of Senator Jesse Helms. Congressional Quarterly,” February 26, 2005.

As is my custom, each year for the Federal holiday celebrating Martin Luther King (whose birth date in January 15), I send out a cautionary essay I first began researching back in 2018. What I was attempting to do was urgently remind readers, specifically so-called “conservatives,” that King and his holiday are emblematic of the ongoing radical transformation of the American republic:  the mindless canonization and glorification of King, especially by the conservative movement, only advances this project. And the fact that most Republicans and “conservatives” now buy into it illustrates their puerility and abject surrender to a Leftist agenda. The resulting revolutionary destruction of the United States, our traditions, and our history cannot be overstated.

For in placing King and his legacy on a pedestal, alongside George Washington or Ronald Reagan, conservatives—whether they intend to or not—buy into that radical agenda. You simply cannot create a legitimate opposition to the madness that currently afflicts us by accepting the essential principles and foundation of our enemies.

The Abbeville Institute: Join Professor Jesse Merriam for a discussion on the 14th Amendment.

 Abbeville Institute

No Amendment has done more to distort the original Constitution than the 14th Amendment. Eric Foner considers it to be the basis of a new founding of the United States. But is that because of its original intent or because the federal court system has used it in a way its authors never intended. Also, what can be done to counteract this ongoing affront to the original Constitution?

Jesse Merriam is an associate professor at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Virginia, and a Washington Fellow at the Claremont Institute's Center for the American Way of Life. Fauci Lies in the Senate (First time for everything...... )

I  would not take a lie detector test if I was guilty.

Mr. Anthony Fauci offered some unhinged testimony before the Senate yesterday, and while his calling Kansas Senator Roger Marshall a moron on a hot mic got most of the ink, his exchange with Senator Rand Paul was the real lowlight. There just seems to be something about the limelight that forces Fauci to take leave of his senses.

So what was it this time? Easy. It was when Rand Paul asked him if he thought it “appropriate to use your $420,000 salary to smear scientists who don’t agree with you?” Fauci predictably denied the charge, but just about anyone with an ounce of sense could likely guess he was lying. Alas, there is no need for guesswork. An American Institute for Economic Research Freedom of Information request makes it plain: Fauci absolutely used his government position to smear any number of people with whom he disagrees.

Blitzkrieg Survivors

In every war there is an initial invasion, an aggressive action by one party against another. If one is successful in rolling over another country with little or no resistance, like Germany in WWII with their concept of blitzkrieg, a massive, initial push that overwhelms and crushes resistance, it seems unstoppable and politicians fold ahead of it like dominoes.

The pandemic was the blitzkrieg to sweep in, overwhelm, subvert and conquer. But obtaining territory is often easier than defending it. Resistance groups spring up and start to chip away at the monolithic power of hospitals, doctors, health officials, government agencies, governors, cops, the military and the neighborhood mole, i.e., Karens.
