Grassley Criminally Refers ANOTHER Kavanaugh Accuser to DOJ – Woman ADMITS Rape Accusation Was a “Ploy”

On Friday, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley criminally referred another Kavanaugh accuser to the Justice Department for investigation.

 

Senator Grassley sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions regarding “fabricated allegations” the Senate Judiciary Committee received.

Brett Kavanaugh was previously questioned by the Senate Judiciary Committee after an anonymous letter signed ‘Jane Doe’ alleged he and a friend raped an Oceanside, CA woman in a car.

The hand-written letter was sent to Democrat Senator Kamala Harris.

Kavanaugh denied the allegations and told interviewers the whole thing is “ridiculous.”

The accuser, Ms. Judy Munro-Leighton, now admits it was a “ploy” and she just wanted to “get attention.”

DHS: 300 in Migrant Caravans Are Known Convicts, Gang Members

 

Department of Homeland Security officials report that nearly 300 members of the migrant caravans en route to the U.S. at this time are either convicted criminals or known gang members. The criminals include individuals with convictions for sexual assault on a child, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery, and assault on a female, officials reported.

In an effort to lay out the facts about the migrant caravans approaching the U.S. from Central America, DHS officials reported that more than 270 people traveling along the caravan route have criminal histories or are known to be members of violent gangs.

Just an FYI, my son has a few buddies who have shipped down. He knows of at least one guy from his old unit (Air-Ground Crisis Response) who is embedded with the migrants. And yes, there are drones overhead taking photos of the people day and night along with "volunteers" collecting DNA on suspected terrorists and child trafficking victims.

West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin insists he’s a pro-life Democrat. But when is a pro-life Democrat not really a pro-life Democrat? When it’s Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia — who was caught posing for a picture with a group of Planned Parenthood abortion activists.

This is the second time Manchin has been on camera posing with abortion supporters. Last year, Manchin was caught holding a sign stating “I Stand With Planned Parenthood” along with an abortion activist.

Scottish Benchrest Shooter Posts Record-Breaking 3-Inch 1000-Yard Group with Factory Savage Rifle

 

As gun manufacturers crank out higher quality production rifles, custom-barreled actions are becoming less necessary for shooting crazy-small groups. It’s tough to beat a skilled gunsmith, but shooters are realizing that a factory piece can be nearly as accurate and just as much fun.

That trend was on full display earlier this month when Scottish benchrest shooter David Sharp (yes, his real name) posted a 3.090-inch 1000-yard group using a Savage Model 12 F-TR barreled action chambered in .308 WIN, according to a report from AccurateShooter.com. That group set the UK record in the Factory Sporter Class, and his aggregate for all four five-shot groups (6.756 inches) also beat the previous 1000-yard UK record in that class.

Migrants traveling to US sue Trump, government; claim violation of constitutional rights

A dozen migrants traveling by foot from Honduras to the U.S. to seek asylum filed a class-action lawsuit Thursday against President Trump, the Department of Homeland Security and others, claiming a violation of their due process under the Fifth Amendment.

The Fifth Amendment states that, "no person… shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law."

 A recent PBS report cited former Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who ruled in 1993 case that "it is well established that the Fifth Amendment entitles aliens to due process of law in a deportation proceeding."
