Shawn Ryan Show #1 Former Green Beret/CIA Contractor Mike Glover

Via Herschel Smith "This is a long but good interview.  If you don’t have time for the entire video, watch 1:27 – 1:34.

We all know that there were other assets to respond to Benghazi, and we’ve covered that in the past.  But here we learn straight from the guy who was there after the event that he had a “full platter” of potential responses, including kill-capture.

He was told that the political climate was “too sensitive” and we weren’t going to do anything.  Presumably because the cover-up (i.e., blaming it on a ridiculous video) was still in progress by the Obama administration.  You also learn from him that it was often said that there were no dangers in Libya prior to that event, and he clearly says he got the sitreps and knew there were many threats.

Threats that left the U.S. unprepared, all by intent.

NSC chief slashing Obama's 'bloated' staff to create efficient, tight-lipped White House operation

Under President Obama, the NSC staff mushroomed to as many as 450 people. Mr. O’Brien plans to cut the staff to fewer than 120 policy officials by early next year.
The White House National Security Council staff is being downsized sharply in a bid to improve efficiency within the policy coordinating body by consolidating positions and cutting staff.

A second, unspoken thrust of the overhaul is a hoped-for end to what many critics see as a string of politically damaging, unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information. Leaks of President Trump’s conversations with foreign leaders and other damaging disclosures likely originated with anti-Trump officials in the White House who stayed over from the Obama administration, according to several current and former White House officials.

White House National Security Adviser Robert C. O’Brien is leading the NSC reform effort. He revealed in a recent interview with The Washington Times that 40 to 45 NSC staff officials were sent back in recent months to the agencies where they originally worked, with more likely to be moved out.

Betsy DeVos and DOJ Fire Off on Colleges Acting Like 'Police States'

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos listens during an Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs meeting at the State Dining Room of the White House on March 18, 2019, in Washington, D.C.

It’s no secret that colleges and universities in America are overwhelmingly leftist.

Allegations of Soviet-like behavior are what landed one Mississippi college in the middle of a free speech lawsuit recently, and now Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos and the Department of Justice are jumping into the fray against the institution of higher learning.

Jones County Junior College is the subject of a lawsuit over allegations that it enforces draconian rules about assembly and speech, and even the claim that the college even called the authorities on student Michael Brown simply for talking about freedom of speech without the school’s permission.

Colleges Dupe Parents and Taxpayers

Colleges have been around for centuries. College students have also been around for centuries. Yet, college administrators assume that today’s students have needs that were unknown to their predecessors. Those needs include diversity and equity personnel, with massive budgets to accommodate.

According to Minding the Campus, Penn State University’s Office of Vice Provost for Educational Equity employs 66 staff members. The University of Michigan currently employs a diversity staff of 93 full-time diversity administrators, officers, directors, vice provosts, deans, consultants, specialists, investigators, managers, executive assistants, administrative assistants, analysts and coordinators.

82d Airborne Division Reaction Force Is En Route to Support Baghdad Embassy

It’s been a tumultuous 24 hours for the US embassy in Baghdad. The day started with mobs organized by Iranian-funded and -influenced militias whipping up a mob to attempt to storm the US embassy inside Baghdad’s Green Zone. A few hours ago, a reinforced Marine rifle company deployed from Kuwait to Baghdad to provide additional security. Showcasing the seriousness with which the Trump Administration is taking the situation, the Immediate Reaction Force for the 82d Airborne Division (‘America’s Guard of Honor’), is wheels up and enroute to the CENTCOM area of operations. No destination has been given but it seems most likely that they will deploy to Kuwait and prepare there to deploy to Baghdad if needed. The entire Division Ready Brigade, about 4,000 paratroopers, is on alert for movement. This is the statement issued by Defense Secretary Mark Esper:

Insane PC: Return War Horse Statue to its Place of Honor

Via Anita L. Henderson

"On September 17, 1997, the Virginia Historical Society unveiled The War Horse, a memorial to the 1.5 million horses and mules that died in the Civil War. Designed by Tessa Pullan of Rutland, England, and given by Paul Mellon, the statue stands in front of the historical society's building on the Boulevard in Richmond, Virginia".

Sadly, this is no longer true, as this spectacularly beautiful, bitter sweet, and well-lit horse has been moved to the parking lot as an after-thought.  He has been caught in the cross-fires of yet more human drama.  While it is good and  high time the nation is addressing the wounds of the Civil War and Racism: this horse, though a monument to civil war horses, is truly a monument to all the beasts of burden that die doing the human race's ugly work of war.
