Obama’s Kenyan brother attacks WND
Malik Hussein Obama, President Obama’s half-brother in Kenya, has charged in an interview with Turkey’s state-run Anatolia news agency that WND senior staff reporter Jerome R. Corsi has engaged in a “smear attack” against him for publishing statements by the Egyptian government accusing him of managing funds for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
WND reported last month, citing Arabic-language Islam researcher Walid Shoebat, that Tahani Al-Gebali, the former chancellor and a continuing adviser to the Constitutional Court of Egypt, has claimed the reason the U.S. cannot fight the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood is because Malik Obama is the architect of the Brotherhood’s financial investments.
The new interview in the Turkish press also was published by Almasryalyoum in Egypt and by Al-Jazeera.
Malik Obama told the Anatolia news agency: “I heard these allegations that are traded over the Internet, which is nothing more than ‘pure nonsense.’”
He proceeded to attack Corsi as a critic of President Obama who has written several books about the president and Shoebat as “known for his criticism of Islam and his support for Israel.”
Malik Obama further alleged that Corsi and Shoebat “are seeking to gain publicity by attacking my brother, Barack Obama, president of the United States of America who is serving the American people and the world.”
Since the publication of the initial article Aug. 20, WND has obtained independent confirmation that criminal charges have now been filed in Egypt against Malik based on Gebali’s accusation that he was managing investments for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

The Carolina Dog
Re-post
The Carolina Dog – aka: The Native American Dog
Fascinating. I had never heard of this breed until yesterday.
========
During the last thirty years, the capture and study of free-ranging dogs in remote areas of (Southern North Carolina) South Carolina and Georgia has revealed the existence of dogs of primitive appearance fitting the typical long-term pariah (i.e. primitive dog) morphotype. Their physical appearance suggests a dog created by and preserved through natural selection to survive in the remote lowland swamp and woodland areas of the southeastern United States.

They closely resemble types of dogs first encountered by Europeans near Indian settlements in the region as is evidenced by paintings, drawings and written descriptions made by these early explorers and settlers.
........we may have in the Carolina Dog a domestic dog that evolved in North America from crosses of the aboriginal dogs that came across the Bering Strait (with the Paleolithic hunter bands) with North American wolves and/or coyotes. This could be a type of dog domesticated solely from North American wild canids, developed free of Asian or European genetic composition up until the introduction of Eurasian domestics by European settlers.
..........The Carolina Dog would represent domestication in reverse. This would be a situation where a completely domesticated animal would have turned its back on modem human society and fled to the wilds to evolve as a completely new type (breed) free of direct human intervention and/or supervision. Long dormant instincts would have reemerged in the wild to aid/allow their survival. Those domestic physical and behavioral traits not suited for survival in the wild would have been selected against and removed from the gene pool. This would represent a reemergence of the "original dog type" which first emerged over 12,000 years ago. Should this hypothesis prove true, we would have in our midst a dog unique in the world in that it would represent a case study of domestication/evolution in reverse, i.e., a return to the original dog type. No other breed of dog could/can make that claim.
Arrogant Joe Manchin Admits Taking Money from Anti-Gun Mayor Michael Bloomberg
He needs to go.
If you recall, Senator Joe Machin (D-WV) aligned himself with Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) earlier this year to push some of the most sweeping gun control legislation the United States has ever seen.
Thankfully, they were defeated. However, now a video has surfaced in which Senator Manchin admits he takes money from Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Even more disturbing than Manchin being greased by Bloomberg (no pun intended), is the fact that Manchin claims the US Constitution can be changed through legislation!
Jeremy McGowan, from the West Virginia Citizen's Defense League , recently interviewed Senator Manchin about several issues regarding gun control.
Senator Manchin admitted to taking money from Bloomberg in order to "off-set the unfairness going on" and the "tax they were enduring."
We reported earlier that Bloomberg has some serious issues with using taxpayer money to fund his Mayors Against Illegal Guns organization. We also reported that many mayors have left the organization claiming that they were unaware of the lies and witch hunts of the organization, and Mayor Brian Maher claims that MAIG attempted to buy him off when he tried to leave.
Echoing sentiments expressed by Mayor Bloomberg back in April, Joe Manchin can be first overheard claiming the US Constitution can be changed through legislation - completely discounting the actual process of Constitutional amendments.

Islamic Militant Jihadists Slaughter Sleeping College Students
Like lecherous wolves, they attacked in the dead of night. Starting at 1 a.m. Sunday, Nigerian Islamic militant jihadists viciously slaughtered sleeping college students. They were helpless and completely ambushed. The jihadists killed well over 50 students, shooting them and burning them, and torched many of the buildings at Gujba, Provost Molima Idi Mato of the Yobe State College of Agriculture in Nigeria. More senseless bloodshed, violence, and murder in the name of Jihad; but this is Islamic jihad, and it's never going to stop.
Every day it's something new. Another attack, more beatings, an unending stream of brutality that is akin to wild animals. The carnage and bloodshed is too much to take in. Late last night, an innocent group of students were attacked by vicious Nigerian Islamic militant jihadists, in an area where an Islamic uprising is in progress. But why these students? Why were they targeted? There is no reason. The only reason is Islam. There is no group that is immune to to the bloodshed. Kill the infidels. Kill everyone, and this they keep doing.BokoHaramNigeriaAP
Why? Islam demands it. However, the horror of gunning down and burning sleeping college students in the dead of the night is nothing short evil and demonic. Even fictional vampires wouldn't do this, but Islamic jihadists would, in a heartbeat, or whatever they have in place of a heart.

Government Spending Spree Comes in Wake of Impending Shutdown
While Congress is working overtime to spent billions of dollars to fund the government and avoid a shutdown, federal agencies are on a freewheeling spending spree to burn through all of their money before the fiscal year ends Monday night.
The Washington Post reports that the Veterans Affairs Department spent more than a half million dollars for artwork, the Coast Guard spent nearly $200,000 on "cubicle furniture rehab," and the Agriculture Department spent $140,000 on toner cartridges in just one day.
The spending spree was prompted by fears that if an agency ends the fiscal year with money left in the bank, Congress might cut their funding in future years.
The outrageous expenses are not unusual, and are the subject of an ongoing congressional investigation.
In 2010, the Internal Revenue Service spent millions of dollars left over in an account to hire new personnel on an extravagant Las Vegas conference where the controversial "Star Trek" parody video featuring federal employees premiered.

Burglars Caught by Armed Homeowner
Two burglars caught in the act as a Reno woman returns home from work. They were surprised to find she was armed. Among the items the thieves were trying to take were a couple of guns, so the tables could have turned in an instant.
The victim was shocked when she walked in to find the crooks collecting her belongings. She ran back to her car to get her gun. The victim says she was on her property when she fired two shots at one of the men. As he took off running, she admits, she chased him down the street screaming profanities. That man escaped on foot. The other got away in older model beige sedan. Police say all the property the crooks intended to take was left behind during their sudden escape.

This is rich! :) SEIU Members Strike over Job Cuts Caused by Obamacare
How sweet it is!
Service Employees International Union (SEIU) members in Chicago have gone on strike after a janitorial company cut some union jobs and hours because of Obamacare, a law the SEIU supported.
Tyler French, the organizing director of SEIU Local 1 in Chicago, said a janitorial company called "Professional Maintenance" cut the jobs and hours.Under Obamacare's employer mandate, which was delayed for a year, companies that employ 50 or more full-time employees will have to provide insurance to employees who work 30 hours or more a week--which is how Obamacare defines full-time employees--or pay hefty fines.

Hundreds gather to fly Confederate flag high above I-95
Hundreds gathered Saturday in freshly cleared woods along Interstate 95 to celebrate the raising of a Confederate battle flag, an event that stirred strong opposition from those who view the flag as a symbol of division.
Those who attended the raising of the 15-by-15-foot flag from the Army of Northern Virginia said the ceremony was not intended to offend, but to honor the South's war dead in the Civil War.
"The reason why we're here is to honor the soldier," said James Thompson, 50, a North Carolinian now living in Richmond. "We don't see it as a slavery issue."
Like many who attended, Thompson said his ancestors fought for the South. A Civil War re-enactor, he wore a slouch hat and a rough wool uniform and carried an Enfield rifle.

Lincoln: About as fit for his position now as a fire shovel.
The
long-standing myth of British weaving-town support for the North during
the war is refuted by the author below, who finds that in fact there
was “in fact a supreme determination to aid the South with at least
moral backing while the North was viewed with mistrust that deepened
with the intensity of Lancashire’s distress [from Lincoln’s blockade].”
Bernhard Thuersam, Chairman
North Carolina War Between the States Sesquicentennial Commission
"Unsurpassed Valor, Courage and Devotion to Liberty"
"The Official Website of the North Carolina WBTS Sesquicentennial"
Lincoln More Fit for a Fire Shovel
“As
president of the disrupted Union, Abraham Lincoln exercised a
continuing fascination in Lancashire throughout the war. He aroused
more anger and disdain than admiration . . . Seward and a few prominent
Northern leaders were occasionally selected to share the disrepute in
which Lincoln was commonly held.
Rather
more frequently the chief executive was unfavorably contrasted with the
mildly esteemed Southern president. The Marquis of Hartington was
typical of Lancashire in respecting Jefferson Davis far more than
Lincoln, of whom he scathingly said, “I [should] think he was [a] very
well meaning sort of man, but as almost everybody says, about as fit for
his position now as a fire shovel.”
Lincoln
was criticized mainly on the occasions of his annual speeches, his
Emancipation Proclamation, and his reelection in 1864. The Emancipation
Proclamation, which was often seen as a concerted attack on the lives
of white Southerners, through the possibility of a servile insurrection,
was almost universally dismissed as an act of hypocrisy.
Lincoln
himself was rarely credited with any humanitarian or altruistic motives
in issuing the proclamation. He was thought to be unsure about the
morality of slavery and untruthful about its abolition. Even though his
mentality was often dismissed as low, he was judged to be well aware
that his the proclamation was unlikely to free any slaves in the South,
and it did not even attempt to release from slavery those in the border
States.
Only
occasionally was the proclamation interpreted as an astute political
move by an adept politician. More often it was sneered at as the inept
fumbling of a leader who could not win victory over the South by any
more straightforward means. By only a handful of editors and meetings
was Lincoln ever envisaged as a man of moral status and strength who
freed Southern slaves through personal conviction as well as military
necessity.
Lincoln
was not as much hated or despised as a personality or a politician but
as a symbol of the North’s desire to subjugate the South.
In
1861 the “timid and incapable hands” of Lincoln were felt by the
Preston Chronicle to be inadequate for leading the Union. A letter to
the same paper accused Lincoln of inconsistency, quoting a speech he had
made in 1848 upholding the right of secession. The press of Preston and
Blackburn hoped for Lincoln’s defeat in the 1864 election; on his
success, bitter attacks were made on his trampling of liberty and rights
under a military despotism.”

Obama drops below 40 percent approval in two polls
Get your filthy feet off the table.
As President Barack Obama’s signature Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act enters the all-important sign-up phase next week, the president finds himself with some of the lowest approval ratings of his presidency even as Republicans in an unpopular Congress maneuver to block the health-care legislation from taking effect.
A Reuters-Ipsos poll of 1,729 Americans taken Sept. 20-24 found only 39 percent of those surveyed approve of the job Obama is doing as president, while 55 percent disapprove.

Monckton: “Forget the dollar. It is finished."
Christopher Monckton of Brenchley – who advised Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, wrote for the Yorkshire Post, was managing editor of the Telegraph Sunday Magazine and is now a columnist for WND – long has warned that the West is on a terminal financial course, from which recovery eventually will not be possible.
In a recent commentary, he wrote that it’s not a matter of “whether but when.”
More than a year ago, he told WND that the financial collapse of the West was plausible based on its path at the time. He then adjusted the forecast from “plausible” and “likely” to “imminent.”
Specifically, he believes President Obama’s financial policies of unprecedented borrowing and spending, trillion-dollar deficits and massive outlays for social engineering are an “existential threat.”
“The gravy train has now tipped into the gulch. The cash for such criminal indulgences has run out. It is now time for governments everywhere to get a grip on the costs inflicted upon taxpayers by governmental employees at every level. Unless this is done, and very soon, the West will fail,” he said.
Now he’s moved beyond.

In 2007 I began writing The Market Ticker due to the outrageous conduct of various branches in the Administration and portions of the Capital Markets. Endemic fraud in the financial system that had generated unbridled and outrageous credit creation threatened the collapse of our entire economic system.
The consequence of this should have been thousands of indictments, prosecutions and imprisonments -- of banking executives, of members of Congress, of various executive branch officers in various agencies and more. The banking system should have been forced to match assets to liabilities and either put up the margin to back their bets or liquidate them -- and if that forced them out of business and collapsed asset prices by 90%, so be it.
Instead our government took the easy way out. It doubled down on the fraudulent models of the past.
But the models of the past were unsustainable and no amount of gaming arithmetic changes the outcome. Indeed, the laws of mathematics state that the longer you allow an exponential system to run away from you, the worse the correction to reality you must sustain is.
From 2007 to 2013 the government has grown from $2.7 trillion to $3.68 trillion, a 36% increase. Marketable federal debt has gone from $4.96 trillion to $12 trillion, up 120% (that is, more than a clean double.)
At the same time median family income has dropped from $56,000 to $52,000 in 2013 dollars (that is, adjusted for "inflation"), a roughly 7% decrease.
Oh, and that's before taxes.
Everyone talks about there being a "tsunami" of incoming inflation to be expected. The real tsunami is government spending and debt and it already happened. In real-dollar terms the federal government alone is taking from you nearly twice as much today as it was in 2007 and 80% of the minimum-wage-earner's buying power has been destroyed from 1980 to today.
And this is before Obamacare really kicks in.
Then there are the outrageous actions of our government in Benghazi. What we are covering up there has not yet been determined with accuracy, but we don't need the fine details to understand the essence of the act. That our tax money was funding terrorists and other bad guys in some form or fashion, and that we were probably providing them weapons is unfortunately pretty-much beyond dispute.
Never mind the outrageous and unconstitutional acts of the NSA in spying on people.

Record Numbers in Poverty Under Obama
The median income of American households dropped by $2,627 during President Barack Obama's first term — and the number of people in poverty rose by about 6,667,000, according to a new report from the Census Bureau.
Some 46,496,000 Americans are now in poverty, the highest number ever and a 16.73 percent increase from 2008 when Obama took office.
Overall, 15 percent of Americans are considered to be living in poverty, up from 13.2 percent in 2008.
But the figures are much higher for blacks and Hispanics — 27 percent of blacks and 25.6 percent of Hispanics are living in poverty. The rate for non-Hispanic whites is 9.7 percent.
More than one-fifth of all Americans under age 18 — 21.8 percent — are in poverty, as are 9.1 percent of those 65 and older.
A single individual earning less than $11,270 last year was considered to be in poverty. For two-person households, the threshold is $14,937; for three-person households, $18,284; for a family of four, $23,492.
Last year, the real median household income in America was $51,017, a 4.89 percent drop from 2008. Median income dropped in every year of Obama's first term.
For black households, median income last year was $33,321, according to the report "Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States," released on Tuesday.
The income and poverty estimates shown in the report are based solely on money income before taxes and do not include the value of noncash benefits, such as those provided by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Medicare, Medicaid, public housing, or employer-provided fringe benefits.
TSA To Roll Out “Covert Surveillance” Vans
Via LH
In another indication of how the TSA is expanding its
turf way beyond airport security, the federal agency is about to roll
out high-tech vehicles that will utilize secret technology to conduct
“covert surveillance operations” in cities around the country.
According to a synopsis posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (PDF),
the TSA is set to purchase technology to retrofit three vans in
Arlington, VA, Chicago, IL, and San Francisco, CA in order to convert
them into surveillance vehicles that will “conduct covert surveillance
operations in the course of investigations.”
Precisely where such covert surveillance will take place
is not mentioned, although in 2010 it was revealed that US government
agencies were already using roving street surveillance vans that deployed backscatter x-ray vision technology to inspect other vehicles.
