I recently had a talk with one of my teenage sons about how he will eventually find a good wife. I of course stressed the importance of marrying a fellow Christian who is grounded in sound doctrine. Then I mentioned the sniff test: If an eligible Christian woman has the faint scent of Hoppes #9 instead of Chanel #5, then you've found a keeper.

The biggest question put to us, as patriots, is what do we do with this government? It is not the Constitution we find offensive, it is not the principles of capitalism and republicanism that we find distasteful, it is the current lawless application of those principles that we abhor.
Ours is not a case against our founding, but a love of it. Ours is not a desire to destroy the nation, but to allow it to rise as a leader among nations to be the beacon of liberty and freedom that has attracted so many to its shores over the past centuries.
By the lawlessness demonstrated by the government of the United States, we have come in conflict with those who, by oath and affirmation, have sworn to defend it. This is an impossible situation because they have not been faithful to their oath, they have done the opposite.

Breitbart.com has received exclusive tape of an Occupy Strategy Session at New York University, billed as a group talk on “The Abolition of Capitalism.” One of the headline speakers at this session was Stephen Lerner, former leader and International Board Member of the SEIU and frequent Obama White House visitor. Lerner argued in favor of people not paying their mortgages and “occupying” their homes; he spoke in favor of invading annual shareholders meetings to shut them down. But his big goal was to get workers to shut down their workplaces. That’s where the SEIU agenda and the Occupy agenda truly meet: once workers begin to occupy.

It’s becoming obvious that the corrupt, virulently anti-gun Attorney General Eric Holder thinks he can stonewall Congress in connection with his cover-up of the Fast & Furious Operation.
That Justice Department program sent over 2,000 illegal firearms to Mexican drug cartels, leaving over 300 Mexican nationals and two U.S. agents dead.
Yet, Holder continues to lie under oath and to stonewall Congress.
He has sent only 6,400 pages of the 83,000 documents demanded by a congressional committee -– and many of these are nothing but blackened sheets of paper. Furthermore, he has absolutely refused to provide documents which would tell Congress “what Holder knew and when did he know it” -– claiming that these are “deliberative” in nature.
He has lied under oath, testifying that he didn’t know of Fast and Furious, even though at least seven relevant memoranda had been sent to him, dating as far back as July, 2010.
And, perhaps worst of all, the House appears to be putting on the kid gloves and taking the pressure off this perjurer who continues to harass gun owners as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer.
So the time to act is now. We need to encourage House Speaker Boehner to move the Gosar resolution expressing “no confidence” in the corrupt Attorney General.
Yeah. We know. We know. It would be far better to just impeach Holder.
But we believe that House action condemning Holder would be so rare -– would garner so much press attention –- and would receive such broad support in the House -- that it would place enormous pressure on Barack Obama, in an election year, to simply push Holder out the door.

Her father gave his consent for the procedure, helped his daughter do the paperwork, and was by her side nearly every step of the way, according to court documents.
But when Planned Parenthood, which bills itself as “America’s most trusted provider of reproductive healthcare,” goes before a judge in May to defend its actions in this case, it won’t be for violating parental consent laws.
Instead, Planned Parenthood must tell the court why it did not report to police that she had been raped. According to the court complaint, Fairbanks said she had been repeatedly sexually abused by her father since she was 13 years old.

A Newport Beach man who has been restoring a 72-foot wooden ship in his yard for six years has been ordered to remove the boat or risk going to jail.
The court order is the latest development in a long-running conflict between Dennis Holland, some of his neighbors and city officials, who sued the 65-year-old resident in an effort to have the vintage ship removed.
Holland now has until April 30 to remove the ship from his Holiday Road home, or face fines of up to $1,000 a day, or possibly jail time, according to Deputy City Atty. Kyle Rowen.
Superior Court Judge Gregory Munoz issued a preliminary injunction Thursday and set an April 30 trial date.
Holland has been restoring the Shawnee, a 1916 ketch, in his West Bay neighborhood home for about six years.
Some neighbors support the project, saying it adds a splash of character to the community, while others — including the couple who can see the stern from their bedroom — want it moved to an industrial area.
"We know it's a step in favor of removing that big blight out of the neighborhood," said neighbor Dalia Lugo.
Holland, who said his work was slowed when he underwent cancer treatment, said he needs another three to four years to restore the ship.

Glock 21 .45ACP Gen 4 – Gun Review – G21
I have a 21 and 30 and the 30 fits my hand perfectly.
At SHOT Show 2012 a little while back we got a brief look at the Gen 4 version of the Glock 21. Fortunately for me, I had just purchased a new Gen 4 G21 just a few days prior to the show, and we can now get a chance to look at it from a more “hands on” point of view.
First Impressions
Once I pulled the G21 from the Glock box, I noticed some differences right away from my earlier Gen 3 guns. First off, the grip has the characteristic nibs that Glock calls “polymids” set in the familiar RTF, or “Rough Textured Finish” pattern. Actually feeling the Gen 4 version of RTF, and carrying it for a bit, I prefer it over the Gen 3 RTF2 style. The RTF2 surface was a bit more aggressive than I cared for, and was rough on clothing. As a big fan of the Glock overall, this was a welcome change, because to me it feels “just right” and I think I grip it more securely than the Gen 3.

The Catholic Knight has written a great article on our public education system that is more like government re-education camps than learning institutes. The only way to correct our failed education system is to put the power of choice back into the parent’s hands where it belongs and is the only way our children will get a real, worthwhile education.

The Va Flaggers read with great interest the story in the Civil War News regarding the March 31st opening of the Satellite location in Appomattox. We were particularly drawn to the section that read… “After museum officials speak and noted Civil War historian James I. “Bud” Robertson delivers the keynote address, flags will be raised on the Reunification Promenade and the ribbon at the front doors will be cut.”
Interested in which flags would be raised, particularly after the battle flag was removed from the Museum façade last year, we did a quick search. The only thing we could find was the artist’s rendering in the museum’s magazine (above), which showed a large U.S. Flag, and what appears to be state flags in a row behind it.
Correspondence with representatives of the museum confirmed that NO Confederate flag will be flown ANYWHERE on the grounds of the new facility. We then contacted Waite Rawls, Museum Director and asked him to reconsider. He has refused our request and insists that the plan to exclude a Confederate flag has the support of museum members, as well as members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Mr. Rawls' statement to us , "In the past three months, I have personally shown the final plans, including the flag promenade, which we have named the Reunification Promenade, to 7 different camps of the Sons of Confederate Veterans... and one chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy,... where they have met with uniform acclamation and no objection" has proven to be false and/or misleading, in the case of AT LEAST 4 of the 7 camps who have replied to our request for clarification.We are, frankly, shocked that the Museum of the Confederacy would even consider operating a facility without a Confederate flag flying on its grounds. Is the Museum leadership ashamed of the flag under which over 260,000 Confederate soldiers died? Are they catering to the NAACP, who insists “that it (the Confederate Flag) is something that should be placed in a museum and stay there.”? I would suggest that this is the case and personally find it insulting to the memory of my four Great-Great-Grandfathers who served under her.
The Va Flaggers are calling on all Southerners to rise up and let your voice be heard. Call the Museum of the Confederacy starting Monday morning and tell them how you feel. (804) 649-1861. It is obvious to us that this most recent assault on our flag shows that the Museum has strayed far from its original spirit:

'Good Christian Bi----s' comes to primetime
Making its television network debut tonight is a new ABC series that was originally titled “Good Christian Bi—-s” and that has already been blasted as “blasphemy,” “an affront to women” and “an attack on the world’s largest faith.”
Following some fury over the announcement of the series, ABC changed the show’s name first to “Good Christian Belles” and then again to simply “GCB,” but yanking obscenity from the title hasn’t settled questions about the show’s content.
As WND reported last year, “GCB” is based on the book “Good Christian Bi—-s” by Kim Gatlin and is being made by the reportedly homosexual executive producer Darren Star, Emmy-winning creator of a several steamy TV hits, including “Melrose Place,” “Beverly Hills, 90210″ and “Sex and the City.”
The pilot episode stars actress Leslie Bibb as Amanda, a mother of two and onetime “mean girl” in high school who returns home a widow to Dallas, only to discover she is the center of malicious gossip in the Christian community.
Trailers, advertisements and sneak previews for the series suggest the show will be snide, steamy and seriously offensive to many Christians.
Iran, Syria, Hezbollah threaten military attack
If Syria is attacked by outside forces as it cracks down on its own people, Iran, Syria and the terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon will attack Israeli and American targets with missiles, sources within all three reveal.
According to Mashregh News, an Iranian media outlet run by the Revolutionary Guards, sources in Syria report that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad last Thursday issued a secret directive that should the country be attacked by America, its military will counterattack.
This directive includes an immediate response to fire a barrage of missiles from the three allies not only toward Israel but also at American assets in the region.
The sources indicate that despite some international claims that a military action will not take place against Syria, military commanders in Syria are preparing for this confrontation.
They emphasize that the Syrian armed forces have prepared a joint war room that includes officers from Syria, Iran and Hezbollah for a coordinated military response to an attack against Syria.
Mashregh News also reported Iran’s armed forces have formed a separate joint war room with the Lebanese Hezbollah.
