Rally ‘Round the Flag!
As in the practice of lingchi, the ancient Chinese form of slow and painful execution by a thousand cuts, Southern history and tradition are today dying a similar death. The first of these virtual cuts was inflicted over twenty years ago in South Carolina when the Confederate Battle Flag was taken down from the dome of the State Capitol in Columbia. The Confederacy’s wartime banner had been added to the U. S. and State Flags in April of 1961 to mark the hundredth anniversary of the War Between the States and it remained flying atop the dome for four decades without any undue protest. In in year 2000, however, the NAACP began a movement to have the Battle Flag removed and that year, after much discussion with the State Legislature, a compromise was finally reached to relocate the flag to a Confederate memorial on the Capital grounds.

Major update: The judge in the Rittenhouse case has just informed the media, “I think the jury is going to retire for the evening.”
The twelve jurors in the Kyle Rittenhouse case are in deliberations after a tense court trial that has national ramifications. The prosecution has botched a weak case that alleges Rittenhouse is guilty of killing two men and injuring a third man during a Black Lives Matter riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin in August 2020. Rittenhouse’s defense maintains he acted in self-defense.
Although all of Rittenhouse’s victims were white,all of them had serious criminal records, and they were caught on high-definition video openly chasing and attacking the boy, who was seventeen years old at the time, the U.S. media has once again turned a clear case of self-defense into a racially politicized circus.

Wyoming Republican Party Votes to Stop Recognizing Liz Cheney As Member of Party
The Wyoming Republican Party has voted to stop recognizing Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) as a member of the Republican Party.
“The 31-29 vote Saturday in Buffalo, Wyoming, by the state party central committee followed votes by local GOP officials in about one-third of Wyoming’s 23 counties to no longer recognize Cheney as a Republican,” The Associated Press reported.

A three-judge panel at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals recently placed a temporary halt to Biden’s unconstitutional COVID-19 mandate on private employers.
After another review by the Fifth Circuit, the temporary ban on the OSHA rule is now permanent.
The three-judge panel’s ruling permanently blocks OSHA from enforcing their COVID-19 jab mandate on employers nationwide.

Conservative pundits need to stop accusing Joe Biden and company of "incompetence." This is all by design – and these folks are playing for keeps.
Their current strategy to "fundamentally transform" America has five pillars:
- Hurling accusations of racism, magnified by compliant media, whenever someone questions any liberal policy or supports common-sense measures like voter ID.
- Using the COVID-19 pandemic to destroy small businesses, turn once-independent citizens into obedient automatons, and to speed up centralized power in large companies, communications and government. This includes villainizing the "unvaxed."
- Deploying the LGBTQ agenda to isolate and criminalize Christians and observant Jews by turning civil rights law into a battering ram against traditional values.
- Enormously expanding the welfare state to increase dependency.
- Flooding the country with illegal aliens who will become a vast, new dependent population groomed to vote Democrat.
I used to chalk up liberal policy failures to good intentions gone awry.
Having embraced liberalism in college, I thought it was the best way to help poor people. But as evidence mounted that it actually hurt them, I had to reassess. A lot of people also do that after taxes shred their paychecks, and especially if they marry and have children.
This is one reason Democrats have been reflexively hostile to marriage, using the courts to redefine it. They are also open to lowering the voting age even further, say, to 16. That's before many of these kids are able to see through the kleptocrats' false promises of socialist utopia.

Internal FBI emails published by a whistleblower within the powerful federal agency reveal that Attorney General Merrick Garland authorized the use of counterterrorism tools to surveil, track and spy on parents who oppose the teaching of extremist Critical Race Theory in schools.

13 November 1966: 𝗖𝗣𝗧 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗫𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁, Co. A, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry, was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in the Republic of Vietnam, posthumously.
In a magnificent display of courage and leadership, Capt. Grant moved under intense fire along the hastily formed defensive line repositioning soldiers to fill gaps created by the mounting casualties and inspiring and directing the efforts of his men to successfully repel the determined enemy onslaught. Seeing a platoon leader wounded, Capt. Grant hastened to his aid, in the face of the mass of fire of the entire enemy force, and moved him to a more secure position. During this action, Capt. Grant was wounded in the shoulder. Refusing medical treatment, he returned to the forward part of the perimeter, where he continued to lead and to inspire his men by his own indomitable example.
While attempting to evacuate a wounded soldier, he was pinned down by fire from an enemy machine gun. With a supply of hand grenades, he crawled forward under a withering hail of fire and knocked out the machine gun, killing the crew, after which he moved the wounded man to safety. Learning that several other wounded men were pinned down by enemy fire forward of his position, Capt. Grant disregarded his painful wound and led 5 men across the fire-swept open ground to effect a rescue. Following return of the wounded men to the perimeter, a concentration of mortar fire landed in their midst and Capt. Grant was killed instantly. His heroic actions saved the lives of a number of his comrades and enabled the task force to repulse the vicious assaults and defeat the enemy. Capt. Grant’s actions reflect great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the finest traditions of the U.S. Army.
