Cardinal: Communism Reborn in Spain

The vice president of the Spanish Bishops' Conference is warning Spain that it will soon be under communist rule.

Cardinal Antonio Cañizares Llovera of Valencia is sounding the alarm owing to the agenda of Spain's socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who was narrowly approved by Spain's Parliament on Jan. 7. Sánchez's secularizing agenda includes:

• Confiscating Church property
• Excluding religion from school curricula
• Introducing sex education in schools
• Legalizing euthanasia

In a letter posted to his diocesan website on Jan. 11, Llovera warned that Spain is coming under the boot of Communism.

"Marxist communism, which seemed destroyed with the fall of the Berlin Wall, has been reborn and is certain to govern Spain," said Llovera.

A Tale of Two Virginias

It is amazing to read the news concerning new legal proposals coming out of Virginia. From proposed gun control laws (which by the way counter the Virginia state constitution: Article 1, Section 13) to a proposal to award Virginia’s electoral votes to the presidential ticket that receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia (SB 399, which runs exactly opposite of the founder’s intention of the electoral college), another to remove the requirement of a photo ID to vote (SB65) and last but not least a proposal to classify as a misdemeanor anyone who dissents or criticizes the governor or other state officials (HB 1627, which is blatantly anti first amendment).

Has the cuckoo flown over the nest?  The cow jumped over the moon?  Probably not but certainly the Virginia Democrat platform and those who advance these proposals seem to be flapping their wings and sizing up the moon. These proposals are not only ludicrous but fly in the face of an overwhelming majority of Virginia citizens outside the north east corner of the state.  We have become and are two separate Virginias. The north east corner mentioned is populated in general by transplants or those who work for our massive general government in Washington.  Outside of a few areas elsewhere in the state the lifestyle and beliefs of these two areas could not be further apart.

Virginia has become what the United States would be if not for the electoral college. The state is run by the north east corner. We saw evidence of what a fraction of the state’s citizens feel about proposed gun laws this past Monday while we know many more who feel the same watched from home. What did the leadership do the very next day?  They continued with their anti-gun legislation.

Are they concerned for the whole state or a financial few?  You decide though the tale of two Virginias will only become more intense as time moves on.

I don’t really want to write this entry, it’s strong medicine.  If you don’t want that medicine, stop reading now.  It won’t hurt my feelings one bit.

As long as you’re here, pull up a hard back chair, grab a strong cup of coffee, and ponder what I’ve said.  Before you pound the keyboard to reply in anger, read it again, and ponder what I’ve said again.
Richmond was by my estimation a huge success.  Why I believe this will become apparent as we go

along through this dose of medicine.  I’ve seen no end to the cringe-worthy throwdowns at Virginians and other attendees to the rally for doing nothing of any use, failing to end the intent to infringe on our rights, and failing to tear down the fences and burn Richmond to the ground.  Or some sort of worthless blather like that.

Charge! and Remember Jackson

 

Our Cause, that for which Jackson gave his life, seems darker now than ever before. We went to war for much less in 1861 than the humiliation and indignities we are forced to suffer today; the same divide still exists, though much amplified and much more intractable. We must wonder what Jackson would do, were he to see what has become of his Virginia. She is fallen, degraded in the ultimate humiliation, though not, we hope, the final defeat. She has been colonized by the Yankee Leviathan, that ever-metastasizing cancerous Blob whose tentacles emanate from Washington, D.C. She has been deluged with aliens, her cities now as Southern as America is American. The fields and forests that our forefathers frolicked in as children have been leveled, dirty parking lots and tenements erected in their place; the farmers are supplanted by MS-13 brutes. Little did the Yankee know that by driving Old Dixie down, he had sown the demise of Old Glory. As Jackson did, though, we must keep the faith and carry the fire. We must heed Lee’s words, offered in memorial to his fallen compatriot: “Lost to us…his spirit still lives…let his name be a watchword… [for our] invincible determination to do everything in the defense of our beloved country.” Charge, and remember Jackson; for long after the rebel yell has ceased to ring through the piney wood, I’ll take my stand to live and die in Dixie. 

Lieutenant-General Thomas Jonathan ‘Stonewall’ Jackson was the greatest martyr of our Cause, the first icon of the War for Southern Independence. He was the archetypal Christian soldier; there is infinite wisdom to be gleaned from his life. In death, he has ascended to the status of myth; even in life, as a chaplain once expressed, “Nobody seemed to understand him…when we ordinary mortals cannot comprehend a genius, we get even with him by calling him crazy.”

Bloomberg Campaign Manager Says Trump Should Win Reelection

Occasionally stories come out from political types that you just have to sit back and marvel about. Yet I’m not so sure of this one being it smells like a bit like a trap.

Mike Bloomberg’s campaign manager was quoted as saying as of right now Trump should win reelection. Which begs the question then why is your guy in this race and also not running in the other states than the Super Tuesday. Some of those answers are below.

Two Lees or Some "conservatives" would have you believe Lee lost the War.

 

 The State of Virginia is currently undertaking an effort to purge Lee and other Confederate leaders from public view, including removing his statue from the United States Capitol. This might be fitting. No one as grand as Lee, even if it is just his likeness, should be surrounded by such reptiles in Washington. More importantly, the Virginia that bred men like Lee ceased to exist long ago. That is the real tragedy of the Old Dominion.

Did Robert E. Lee lose the War for the South? If you believe Edward Bonekemper, then yes. His first published book, How Robert E. Lee Lost the Civil War leaves little doubt about his position on the conflict. Bonekemper is the latest in a growing chorus of social justice conservatives who blame the South for all that ails the United States, and Lee, more importantly the “myth” of Lee, is at the center of the “Lost Cause” narrative they find so problematic.

Civil Rights Gone Wrong

A couple of heavyweight conservative thinkers, Charles Murray and Christopher Caldwell, have important new books out this month: Murray’s upcoming Human Diversity: The Biology of Gender, Race, and Class and Caldwell’s The Age of Entitlement: America Since the Sixties.

Caldwell, a distinguished prose stylist, is immensely quotable…except for his new book’s name. I presume The Age of Entitlement is intended as a Voltairean pun on “the Age of Enlightenment” in the manner of his 2009 title Reflections on the Revolution in Europe: Immigration, Islam, and the West and its Burkean riff on Reflections on the Revolution in France. Unfortunately, the moniker The Age of Entitlement gives the vague impression that it’s going to be another snooze from the deep root-canal school of economics about the Social Security trust fund or whatever.

Instead, The Age of Entitlement is an explosive rethinking of history since JFK’s assassination that comes to the reactionary conclusion that the only salvation for American conservatism is to repeal the sainted 1964 Civil Rights Act and restore the constitutional right to freedom of association.

You got to show up if your gonna run your mouth with alacrity and direct first hand knowledge what it was like to be in the incredible company of 10’s of thousands of armed to the fucking teeth Free Shitlords.

It was the greatest thing imaginable to show up and bath in the beauty of being in the company of so many armed to the fucking teeth fellow Patriots.You have to show up to experience the awesomeness of 26,000 armed and other wise totally defiant shitlords and shitladies.

An intoxicating warm fuzzy you have to experience. Don’t blow off the next opportunity. It is like nothing else. I never felt safer in my life. IIt was the enemy who did not feel safe. Remember that. It matters man, it matters. It counts. It is the whole point. We who showed up showed we where not afraid to. They can do anything they want with that, including cram it up their arses. And for every naysayer or provocateur, there’s a thousand of us who ain’t. And we do not let our fears rule or choices we make, or define who we are, and that is more valuable right now than boolits.

By showing up, being in Richmond, there are elements very important that only become clear and lucid to you, truths that are seen with your own eyes if you are there. Ignorance, the good intentional kind, is still blind.

AOC Demonizes Business Owners: They’re Lazy Slave Owners, Employees ‘Literally Dying’

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) repeatedly demonized successful business owners in an interview during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event on Monday, literally arguing that business owners were lazy slave owners who profit off the backs of minorities who are “dying” because the business owners are successful.

Ocasio-Cortez made the extreme remarks when she was asked why successful business owners were “the enemy of health care.”

“Well, you didn’t make those widgets, did you?” Ocasio-Cortez began. “Because you employed thousands of people and paid them less than a living wage to make those widgets for you. You didn’t make those widgets.”

Impeachment drives 1,000 GOP candidates to run for House

Pennsylvanian James Bognet had been around local and presidential politics for a long time before landing a dream job as a senior vice president at the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

“I was really honored to get a chance to work in the Trump administration,” said Bognet, 44, a veteran of several campaigns, including those for former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

“It’s really cool for a small-town kid from Hazleton, Pennsylvania,” added Bognet, who worked with the White House on President Trump’s manufacturing agenda.

But like many Republicans inside and out of the administration, the Democratic drive to impeach Trump angered him, and he started watching his hometown Democratic congressman, Matt Cartwright, to see if he would vote against Trump.

This is naked tyranny: Virginia Democrats Push Legislation to Make Criticism of Government Officials a Criminal Offense

 Virginia patriots may have to continue organizing locally, with Sheriffs deputizing local patriots and constitutional militias being trained, as a bulwark against the treasonous usurpers leading the state legislature.

In the wake of the Virginia gun rights rally on Monday, Democrats in the Capitol are not slowing down their push for tyranny. They are moving a bill through the legislature that would effectively criminalize dissent against Governor Blackface Northam and other state government officials.

House Bill 1627 was introduced by Delegate Jeffrey M. Bourne last week. The legislation “provides that certain crimes relating to threats and harassment may be prosecuted in the City of Richmond if the victim is the Governor, Governor-elect, Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant Governor-elect, Attorney General, or Attorney General-elect, a member or employee of the General Assembly, a justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia, or a judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.”

Language in the bill explicitly criminalizes free speech, in what would constitute a blatant attack on the 1st Amendment of the Constitution.

Virginia Senate advances 'red flag' law day after massive gun rights rally

The day after a massive gathering of gun-rights activists at the Virginia Capitol, the state Senate on Tuesday advanced legislation that would allow authorities to take guns away from people deemed dangerous to themselves or others.

The Democratic-led Senate gave preliminary approval to the so-called “red flag” law, SB 240.

The bill had been passed by in previous Senate sessions, including the day when the Senate passed three other gun bills, including universal background checks, a 'one handgun a month' law, and granting local governments the authority to ban weapons during permitted events in public spaces.

But on Tuesday, it went through several fights, with amendments proposed by Republicans ruled out of order and readings of substitutes waived.
