Junk Silver Coins
"It's doomsday plus a few weeks. Say you need to bribe the border guards at the state line but they seem to have all the wristwatches and free range eggs they can use. Hah! There's nothing like a few good ol' silver coins to become their number one tourist, let this man through. Or your gas station's not accepting Visa and the s have gone dark from sea to shining sea and you've got a hard to get reservation at a fallout-free retreat. Hah! Dazzle 'em with the sheen of silver my friend, fill 'er up and happy motoring to you"

"Here is an article from the Wisconsin State Journal regarding Josh Brennan, the man that Salvatore Giunta kept from getting dragged off."

"Here is an article from the NY Times that gives you an idea of what life was like in the Korengal River Valley. It's 11 pages long, but very much worth the read. Salvatore Giunta's firefight starts on page 10."

5 Real Life Soldiers Who Make Rambo Look Like A Pussy Cat
"Most of the central banks have a lot of Ph.D.s, with no real world experience. They have read books, but have not been in the trench to "feel" what it is truly like. This is why government employees rarely have anything worthwhile that will ever contribute to society. There is not a single economic statistic that is even valid, no less any plausible guide as to what is going on. There are manipulated so much to try and influence the 'public confidence' that it becomes a joke."

"We all understand that action movies are cheesy escapism. After all, could one commando really take out a whole compound full of bad guys?
Actually, yes. It turns out the history books are full of stories of soldiers doing things so badass they'd hesitate to put them into a film for fear of killing the realism. Like these five, for example.

THE MYSTERY OF NANCY HANKS CALHOUN, LINCOLN: ENIGMA STILL INTRIGUES HISTORIANS
His true origin becomes lost in a sea of folklore, myths, half-truths and biographical confusion when one attempts to take a hard appraising look into his parental background. But stick to it long enough and look hard enough and out of the perplexities emerges a pattern that seems to make sense, albeit a pattern, which millions profess not to see."

==============
"Do we really need any further justification for revolt than the interview on FOX News with Justice Stephen Breyer? The condescension was thick in the air of one who rules, yet denies to rule; one who snarkily suggests that if one wants a weapon to shoot at targets one might go to Maryland on the subway. He did not reveal, in all his brilliance, that by possessing a handgun in Washington DC one was already breaking the law, carrying it on the subway concealed if not now, soon will be against the law and presumably captured by one of Janet Napolitano's porno scanners." "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!"
"Were the pictures which have been drawn by the political jealousy of some among us faithful likenesses of the human character, the inference would be, that there is not sufficient virture among men for self-government; and that nothing less than the chains of despotism can restrain them from destroying and devouring one another."
