Painful Video:) Ex-Obama Official Shares What Happened at UN Party Night Trump Beat Hillary

How Sweet It Is

At first, they were afraid Hillary would win so fast they wouldn’t have time to enjoy it.

When then-United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power gathered a host of liberal luminaries at her ritzy New York apartment to watch the 2016 election night results unfold as part of a documentary film project, it was a memorable victory party in the making.

The American people had other ideas, though, and the scenes from the party — and Power’s memories of that night — should bring a smile to the face of every supporter of Donald Trump.
The party started on a high note, as liberal gatherings throughout the country did on Nov. 8.

There was plenty of wine to celebrate, high-wattage liberal star power like feminist “icon” Gloria Steinem, former U.N. Ambassador Madeleine Albright and female U.N. ambassadors from other countries. Power even had an HBO film crew on hand to record the scene for posterity.

They thought they were making a movie to commemorate the inevitable election of Hillary Clinton to the presidency, cementing Barack Obama’s disastrous record of unimpeded government growth onto a crippled country for the next four years — and potentially many more

"I'm from the Government, and I'm Here to Kill You." - Waco: The Untold Story

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Waco atrocity, the bloodiest and most expensive law enforcement operation in the history of the United States.  The gun battle, siege, and lethal fire have already been the subject of three commemorative documentaries and docudramas on the subject, with more to come.  The sad fact is that the documentaries to date contain major errors.  I know this because I spent three years in Freedom of Information Act lawsuits in a quest for the truth.

The 1993 operation was begun by the then-Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) and directed at a religious group sometimes called the Branch Davidians, led by David Koresh.  The basis for the raid was flimsy evidence that the Davidians possessed unregistered machine guns.  On February 28, eighty agents, backed by three borrowed military helicopters, tried to storm the Branch Davidian center near Waco, Texas.  Shooting broke out that left four agents and six Davidians dead and led to a 51-day siege.  The siege in turn ended with a fire that killed more than 80 additional people.

Goodies from Ol' Remus

National Sentinel - Pro-gun social worker fired for having a concealed carry permit (but no gun) ... she was escorted out of the building by three police officers for allegedly being a “safety threat to the building.”

Civil war, Town Hall, Kurt Schlichter - It’s obvious that the central tenet of the Democrat Party platform is now hatred and contempt for Normal Americans. Taking their cue from the elites in Europe and Canada who are stripping dissenters of their free speech rights and religious freedoms, the leftist elite is moving to solidify its hold on power here. These aspiring fascists are especially eager to disarm Normal Americans – doing so would be an object lesson in who’s the boss, as well as solving that frustrating problem of the Normals having the ability to resist. Civil war is unlikely, but never underestimate Democrat stupidity and hatred. Democrats, who think history began when Obama was elected, don't understand the dangerous game they are playing.
Women, PJ Media - When we valued men as providers, workers, soldiers and leaders, our nation thrived. Now that we fear them as deviants, criminals, and lifelong dependents, we are failing. Contrary to popular belief, women aren’t rising to take their place, women are filling in, doing the things men no longer do because we have to keep going. And women aren’t happy about it. Fifty-seven percent of working mothers would rather be at home with their children. Young girls are being diagnosed with anxiety and depression in record numbers because of role conflict "when the roles you play are at odds with one another.” Pop culture tells us to replace what worked with what doesn’t.

Men, American Greatness - The rhetoric about “white male privilege” has become more strident. There are mandatory classes on diversity. Workshops on “toxic masculinity” tell men they aren’t OK. Men are even attacked for the way they sit on a chair or a subway seat. Many teachers make it a policy to call on boys last in class and to give girls extra attention. On most campuses when it comes to charges of rape, there is a presumption of guilt. Fraternities have been banished on many campuses. It is the new Jim Crow; intended to marginalize certain people and keep them out of school, the workplace, and now public places.

Info control, WND - America’s universities employ speech codes that would make North Korea blush. Little children are being indoctrinated from the earliest age in government schools that this nation’s heroic founders were no more than racist, misogynist, imperialist oppressors of the poor and downtrodden. Now, the “Digital Content Cartel,” that sees the world much like those other powerful cultural institutions, is in near total, hammerlock control of the means of distribution of news and information on the internet because they control more than 90 percent of the advertising revenue, search engine power and technical infrastructure that is necessary to reach massive audiences effectively.

Obama's Former Campaign Director Makes Bombshell Claim: Facebook Was "On Our Side"

The recent controversy and escalating scandal over Facebook's decision to ban Trump-linked political data firm Cambridge Analytica over the use of data harvested through a personality app under the guise of academic research has opened a veritable Pandora's box of scandal for the Silicon Valley social media giant.

Carol Davidsen, who served as Obama's director of integration and media analytics during his 2012 campaign (in her LinkedIn profile she says she was responsible for "The Optimizer" & "Narwhal" big data analytics platforms), claims - with evidence, that Facebook found out about a massive data-mining operation they were conducting to "suck out the whole social graph" in order to target potential voters. After Facebook found out, they knowingly allowed them to continue doing it because they were supportive of the campaign.

"[M]ore than 1 million Obama backers who signed up for the [Facebook-based app] gave the campaign permission to look at their Facebook friend lists. In an instant, the campaign had a way to see the hidden young voters. Roughly 85% of those without a listed phone number could be found in the uploaded friend lists. What’s more, Facebook offered an ideal way to reach them," reads an article Davidsen posted as a prelude to her postings.

In a series of Sunday night tweets, Davidsen explained how the Obama campaign was able to use Facebook data to "append to our email lists."

Antigun Groups Promote Gun Control, NOT School Safety

Gun Ban Puppet Master Democrats

With the latest shooting tragedy—this one at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida—antigun groups wasted little time in singling out a culprit—the AR-15 5.56 NATO / 223 semiautomatic rifle.

The mainstream media quickly echoed the sentiment of antigun groups and their fellow travelers in Congress: if Government would just confiscate guns from the civilian population, commencing with “assault weapons,” society would be better off for it and all would be right with the world.

A short thought on the Second Amendment

Image result for guns a natural right

We pro-gun people have heard the militia clause of the Second Amendment referred to time and again as being - somehow - the definitive determinate that it is not an individual right.  Never mind court cases, and all that, e.g., Heller, I would put forward this simple thought chain:

In the First Amendment there is the phrase "right of the people" which has, repeatedly, been held to mean an individual right.

That same phrase appears in the Fourth Amendment, and like it's First Amendment use it has been held to mean an individual right.

So for that phrase in the Second Amendment, using the very same words, to mean some kind of collective right of the people-at-large rather than an individual right you'd have to:

  • Assume that these men, who were some of the most learned, well-read persons of their age, wrote the First Amendment to mean what it means, somehow flipped that meaning in the very next Amendment to be the opposite of the prior use, and then flipped it back right afterwards.
  • Assume that these men, who knew they were writing a document for the ages, and who considered, weighed, and argued vehemently over every word and punctuation mark, would be so sloppy and careless in this place while writing the foundational Law of the Land that is the Constitution and its first ten Amendments.
Such assumptions defy the simple logic "smell test."

Is Social Justice Begining To Contaminate Tech And Engineering Schools?

Via comment by JWMJR  on Diversity Fail? All-Women Engineering Team Blamed ...

The was an interesting rant today on the Ace of Spades website ace.mu. The question was, were major universities going to have to become split between the "liberal arts" departments and the math, science and engineering schools. It was Ace's position that he was more concerned that so called Social Justice was going contaminate the hard science fields.

I felt compelled to comment that I thought it had already happened and with frightening consequences. Namely this brand new, "revolutionary design" pedestrian bridge in Miami Florida that collapsed killing six innocent people.

NATIONAL: PUBLIC TROUBLED BY ‘DEEP STATE’

Via Oathkeepers

A majority of the American public believe that the U.S. government engages in widespread monitoring of its own citizens and worry that the U.S. government could be invading their own privacy.

The Monmouth University Poll also finds a large bipartisan majority who feel that national policy is being manipulated or directed by a “Deep State” of unelected government officials. Americans of
color on the center and left and NRA members on the right are among those most worried about the reach of government prying into average citizens’ lives.

Just over half of the public is either very worried (23%) or somewhat worried (30%) about the
U.S. government monitoring their activities and invading their privacy. There are no significant partisan differences – 57% of independents, 51% of Republicans, and 50% of Democrats are at least somewhat worried the federal government is monitoring their activities. Another 24% of the American public are not too worried and 22% are not at all worried.

Fred On Everything: "General Lee Was Right"

Image result for lee The consolidation of the states into one

I see  that a man named Sessions, apparently  Washington’s Attorney General, threatens to unleash the coercive powers of the federal government against the state of Colorado, his reason being that he does not like the state’s policy with regard to marijuana.  This is most curious. Why he believes the policies of Colorado to be his concern is not clear. Equally mysterious is why he thinks the police of Colorado should arrest Coloradans for doing a thing that the people of the state have determined to be acceptable.

This has a much happier ending than the last school shooting we saw.

So far, no loss of life has been reported.
*Update 15:03 EST*

The 16-year old girl that was shot was someone that the shooter had a ‘prior relationship with’ and the heroic officer that stopped the shooting did so within one minute of the initail shots fired.

Dated

Prior to this past Sunday night about 11PM, I would have happily postponed this sort of thing in favor of more likely problems. But some folks might live in Chicongo, or be at a country music festival in Las Vegas, or something equally unfortunate on the day, so...

There's nothing terribly complicated about the Army's IFAK, or the one you should have handy, and the contents are rather basic.

Peter at Bayou Renaissance Man linked earlier today to the Army's IFAK packing list (pdf), which reveals nothing requiring much more than common sense to use:

California HS magazine cartoons depict Trump as Nazi, police as KKK members

Via Billy

Police and parents in California were reportedly outraged after students at a high school magazine published cartoons depicting President Donald Trump as a Nazi and an officer wearing KKK garb while aiming a gun at a black child.

"The Pawprint," a student publication at the prestigious Bonita High in LaVerne, featured two provocative cartoons that were apparently pulled from Google Images, Fox Los Angeles reported.
One drawing shows a swastika hiding underneath Trump's hair. Another portrays a uniformed police officer in a white hood pointing a pistol at a baby-faced black child holding a bag of skittles, in an apparent reference to Trayvon Martin – the teen who bought the candy before being shot by George Zimmerman in 2012.
