Don’t fall for this. Don’t even put yourself in the position of thinking this is in any way prudent.
If you are in the room with someone who suggests it’s a good idea – LEAVE.

Change your fundamental paradigm. You are no longer a member of a society ruled by principle or law. This is the fundamental change. You are a flea looking into a thermonuclear furnace….

There is no-one on this list, or any list, connected to ANY New York, DC or regional TV or print outlet who will provide you any fair consideration for your position.

None, zero, nada, zippo and zilch, who will put their entire career at risk by even remotely allowing you, through them, to frame a narrative which might put you in a favorable light.

They will not do it.

Ever.

Hagel volunteered to be drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War, rejecting a draft board recommendation that he go to college instead.^[19] He served in the United States Army infantry in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. As a Sergeant (E-5), he served as an infantry squad leader in the 9th Infantry Division.^[20] Hagel served in the same infantry squad as his younger brother Tom, and they are thought to be the only American brothers to have done so during the Vietnam War.^[21] They also saved each other's lives on separate occasions.^[21] Hagel received the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, two Purple Hearts, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.^[22]

Chuck Hagel has been fired by Obama from his position as Defense Secretary. Hagel, a former GOP Senator, was appointed by Obama in early 2013 and therefore was scheduled to serve for the entirety of Obama’s second term.

Prior to his appointment, Hagel is said to have visited the White House in 2009, and personally warned Obama that he should look out for rogue elements within the Pentagon that were leading a ‘new world order’.

This was not reported on some internet conspiracy forum, it was a leading report published shortly before Hagel’s appointment, by Bob Woodward, an award winning journalist and associate editor with The Washington Post.

According to an account that Hagel gave, he told Obama: “We are at a time where there is a new world order.”

A white police officer will not face charges for fatally shooting an unarmed black teenager in a case that set off violent protests and racial unrest throughout the nation, an attorney close to the case said Monday night.

A St. Louis County grand jury declined to indict officer Darren Wilson, 28, for firing six shots in an August confrontation that killed 18-year-old Michael Brown, said Benjamin Crump, an attorney for the family. The decision had been long awaited and followed rioting that resembled war-zone news footage in this predominantly black suburb of St. Louis.

My family came to the US as refugees and had a very easy time of going through the naturalization process. We may have been a happy exception. I have a friend, an internationally known writer, who submitted his green card application several times, with substantial fees attached to every one of the. They were all “lost”. Upon a call from his state senator, they were miraculously found.

This morning, I read a this on a blog of an acquaintance whose writings I’ve been following for years:

February will mark the two year anniversary as to when my husband submitted his application for a change of status – a Green card.

He hasn’t even been called for an interview yet.

How Government Practices Helped Monopolize the Sinaloa Drug Cartel

In December of 2008, DEA agents in Chicago executed a sting operation that “directly led to the seizure of hundreds of kilograms of cocaine, dozens of kilograms of heroin, and several million dollars.” These busts were carried out based on intelligence received from confidential informants who began working with the agency in April of 2008. From August to November, the DEA worked with these informants to build their case and gather evidence. Then, in December of 2008, the DEA closed the trap.

The dealers arrested as a result of the Chicago operation received sentences of up to 30 years in prison. But the victory wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. While the seizure of hundreds of kilograms of narcotics was significant, it represented just a small fraction of the drugs that had been imported during that time.

“A review of thousands of federal court records, police reports, and court testimony from cases” related to Chicago the sting revealed that high level suppliers in Chicago, working with Mexican cartels, had imported “somewhere between six and eight tons of cocaine into the United States during the four-month period that they were gathering evidence.” That meant that while the DEA was preparing its case, up to two tons a month of narcotics had been flooding through Chicago streets.

Although many of the dealers involved in distributing those drugs were arrested, the high level suppliers were not. And it wasn’t because the DEA couldn’t find them or didn’t know who they were, it was because the people importing those drugs were the same people that were working with the DEA.

The suppliers were the confidential informants.

Giuliani blames cop shootings on black-on-black crime

 

A Sunday TV appearance to discuss the police shooting of an unarmed teen in Missouri turned into a racially charged exchange between Rudy Giuliani and a black professor, with the ex-mayor telling the educator that white police wouldn’t be needed to patrol black neighborhoods “if you weren’t killing each other.”

Before Ferguson exploded in reaction to the August shooting of black teen Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson, the St. Louis police chief raised eyebrows when he called for the use of drones to monitor high-crime areas.

The proposal was a response to  what St. Louis police authorities called “subhuman, antisocial, urban terrorist” behavior by criminals.

St. Louis also is home of the notorious “Knockout Game,” a random but racially motivated assault that has claimed at least six lives.

St. Louis is 44 percent white and 49 percent black, but statistics shows a racial imbalance in crime.

Hagel Submits Resignation as Defense Chief Under Pressure

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel handed in his resignation on Monday, the first cabinet-level casualty of the collapse of President Obama’s Democratic majority in the Senate and the struggles of his national security team to respond to an onslaught of global crises.

In announcing Mr. Hagel’s resignation from the State Dining Room on Monday, the president, flanked by Mr. Hagel and Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., called Mr. Hagel critical to ushering the military “through a significant period of transition” and lauded “a young Army sergeant from Vietnam who rose to serve as America’s 24th secretary of defense.”

Florida newspaper: ‘We’re coming for your guns’; answer: We’ll be waiting

 

Claiming “it’s the guns, stupid,” a columnist for the Tallahassee Democrat, a daily serving Florida’s capital city, called for an outright ban on all handguns and so-called “assault rifles,” and claimed that “someday we’ll take them.” Not in my or anyone’e lifetime, I say.

Has Florida Outlawed Well Regulated Militias?

 

Despite not being an open carry state, nor its moderately high cost of a CCW, Florida is not known for being a hotbed of Gun Control fever.  That is why I was so surprised to hear about Florida Statute 790.29.  The statute expressly prohibits paramilitary training; teaching or participation.  Basically anything that could very loosely be described as a militia. I heard about it because a man was facing 30 years because he violated it.

Ferguson PD Tell Gun Stores and Pawn Shops to Remove Guns

 

“A St. Louis area gun shop refused a sale to an African-American woman because, according to the clerk, St. Louis police informed gun stores that Darren Wilson will not be charged,”

And told them to remove their firearms from the premises in case “protestors” choose to do a little affirmative shopping. “To be clear, this was not an instance of racism (not in the traditional sense, anyway) — the shop was just in the process of removing all guns and ammunition from the premises, allegedly on the order of police.” You didn’t know that?

Apparently the media didn’t get the memo. Literally . . .
