Ron Paul on border invasion: "That is well organized, and it is well organized by - I believe - the cultural Marxists."

Via Billy

Former congressman Ron Paul questions the sincerity of liberals raging over family separation at the border by describing it as "good politics."

During his Liberty Report broadcast on Wednesday, Paul described the situation at the border as the perfect political issue for liberals to place the blame on President Trump.

"Our borders are a mess as if that is not something new," the former congressman spoke while mentioning that the children are adding a new twist to the conflict. "It has really lead to a lot of confusion."

"Except for the liberals. The liberals are using this for the hill and it's the perfect political issue for the liberals and of course, it's easy to blame Trump."

Ron Paul explained that these types of conditions for how people are treated at the border have existed for quite some time and it's hard to believe that the emotionally driven pushback against Trump's "zero tolerance" immigration enforcement is anything but "good politics."

Livid NC Rep. Mark Meadows yells at Speaker Paul Ryan on House floor

Tensions spill onto House floor over immigration reform; reaction from Fox News political analyst and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

The chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus angrily confronted House Speaker Paul Ryan over immigration legislation on the floor of the House of Representatives Wednesday.

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., approached Ryan during a vote and began an animated discussion that lasted roughly half a minute. Both men pointed fingers at each other and reporters in the gallery could hear Meadows say, "I'm done! I'm done!" Meadows then turned and walked away while Ryan resumed chatting with other members.

Very popular in Vietnam.  Even for sale at TSN airport the last time I was there.

There are neither Confederate monuments to be torn down in Japan nor Battle Flags to be lowered . . . but if there were, there could well be some Japanese who might wish to protest such symbols.

While my wife Rieko would certainly not be among them, when she was attending high school one of her standard 1953 English text books contained an excerpt from Chapter Seven, “The Mother’s Struggle,” in Harriet Beecher Stowe’s book “Uncle Tom’s Cabin – Life Among the Lowly.” Since, in Japan, any alternate view of life in the South has been confined almost exclusively to the translations of Margaret Mitchell’s 1936 novel “Gone With the Wind” and the film version of her book three years later, Stowe’s distorted picture of the ante-bellum South undoubtedly made a lasting impact on the minds of many young Japanese. Given that the events leading up to the South’s secession and the ensuing War Between the States had received virtually no press coverage in Japan at the time, Stowe’s 1852 work of abolitionist propaganda has had an unusually long history in the country.

Fry them.

In a normal nonprofit, $3.3 million would take a big bite out of any organization's bottom line. But then, there's nothing "normal" about the $477 million dollar Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) -- including its methods, which has the "hate" labelers backing up or crawfishing as we would say in Louisiana.

Earlier this week, conservatives everywhere cheered the comeuppance for SPLC in its legal battle with Muslim Maajid Nawaz, who was listed -- ironically enough -- as an anti-Muslim extremist on the group's website. In its suit for defamation, Nawaz and his Quilliam Foundation won, forcing the SPLC to fork over a multi-million dollar settlement, complete with a voluntary apology. As usual, Morris Dees' group had no real basis for the label other than its disagreement on policy grounds.

Although SPLC has been forced to withdraw or retract other groups and individuals from its lists before (Dr. Ben Carson, for one), this mistake was quite public and, in many ways, quite costly.

"It's a shame that it took impending litigation for the Southern Poverty Law Center to finally set the record straight and admit it was wrong all along," said Nawaz's attorney. Imagine, NRO pointed out, "if everybody whom the SPLC has erroneously smeared over recent years -- the individuals, the groups, the scholars and activists -- took this precedent to launch legal actions of their own?" After all, Douglas Murray went on, "The SPLC has a vast endowment of tens of millions of dollars. But going by this precedent, if everybody decided to correct the lies that the SPLC has taken upon itself to spread over recent years, then the SPLC, which failed to shut itself down when its work was done, could be shut down by the very people it has spent recent years trying to shut up. Which would not just be poetic, but justice too."

Anthony Bourdain: Did Global Cultural Icon Kill Himself or Was He “Suicided”?

The case was closed on the cause of his death before any autopsy or investigation

Did celebrity travel writer, publisher and CNN “Parts Unknown” TV host Anthony Bourdain, possibly the most influential cultural icon in the world – one who spoke truth to power – kill himself or was he murdered?

The sudden, unexpected death of Bourdain, 61, a beloved, effective international diplomat on behalf of humanity, certainly merits investigating.

Some oddities of this case: The only proof he killed himself is one official announcing he had committed suicide; his body was cremated before his family got to see the body and without the conducting of an autopsy; he was the latest in a growing list of celebrities reportedly killing themselves using the bizarre method of hanging from a doorknob; his girlfriend was a self-professed witch; he had been targeted by Hillary Clinton’s operatives; and he had taken on the Mossad. With all of that, isn’t it just common sense to ask a few if not a lot of questions?

 TOUGH STANCE IS VOTE-WINNER

Hungary's parliament on Wednesday approved a package of bills that criminalises some help given to illegal immigrants, defying the European Union and human rights groups.
* New law aims to punish NGOs helping illegal immigrants
* Rights groups say it contravenes European law
* PM Orban cultivates tough anti-immigrant image
* Hungary is home to very few refugees
* Germany regrets Hungary decision to press ahead (Adds German reaction)

The legislation narrows the scope for action by non-governmental organisations (NGOs), making their workers liable for jail terms for helping migrants to seek asylum when they are not entitled to it.

Peter Fonda: ‘Lying Gash’ Kirstjen Nielsen Should Be ‘Whipped’ Naked in Public

Actor Peter Fonda attends IMDb's 25th Anniversary Party co-hosted by Amazon Studios presented by VISINE at Sunset Tower Hotel on October 15, 2015 in West Hollywood, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for IMDb)

As I've mentioned before, dueling should be made legal and there would be a 99% reduction of these vile comments.

Actor Peter Fonda deleted his sexist a Twitter tirade calling United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen a “gash” who should be “put in a cage” Fonda also deleted his vile attacks on President Donald Trump’s son, Barron, calling for him to be raped and taken from his parents.

The profane Easy Rider actor jumped to his Twitter account on June 19 to attack Nielsen in the most personal of terms calling her a “gash,” a word that serves as a stand-in for the abusive word c*nt.
“Kristjen Nielsen is a lying gash that should be put in a cage and poked at by passersby,” Peter Fonda tweeted. “The gash should be pilloried in Layfayette Square naked and whipped by passersby while being filmed for posterity.”

The actor who on June 20 Rush Limbaugh called the epitome of “obscure” actors desperate to be better known, also attacked Donald Trump’s youngest son Barron saying that he hoped the boy would be raped by pedophiles.

On June 20, Fonda uncorked the following all-caps Tweet reading:
WE SHOULD RIP BARRON TRUMP FROM HIS MOTHER’S ARMS AND PUT HIM IN A CAGE WITH PEDOPHILES AND SEE IF MOTHER WILL WILL STAND UP AGAINST THE GIANT ASSHOLE SHE IS MARRIED TO. 90 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE STREETS ON THE SAME WEEKEND IN THE COUNTRY. FUCK
Next, the actor, who only quit doing illegal drugs after his daughter staged a personal intervention, posted a third tweet demanding that activists target the children of ICE agents.

Naturally, Fonda deleted all three of these unhinged tweets — as did documentary filmmaker Josh Fox and singer Nancy Sinatra, both of whom endorsed Fonda’s tweets.

Obama's Child Detention Photos You Have Not Seen

In 2014, journalists were given a media tour of two Barack Obama administration detention facilities in Brownsville, Texas, and Nogales, Arizona. During that tour, pool photographers Eric Gay and Ross Franklin documented images of minors in holding facilities.

One of those photographs was used to create a viral social media firestorm claiming it was “children ripped from the arms of their parents by Donald Trump,” and comparing Trump to Hitler — even though the photo in question was taken when Obama was in charge.

There were no outrageous claims of “children ripped from the arms of their parents by Barack Obama!”

Trump and the Invasion of the West

 IMG_8581

Trump may be on the wrong side politically and emotionally of this issue of separating migrant kids from their parents.
But on the mega-issue—the Third World invasion of the West—he is riding the great wave of the future, if the West is to have a future.

"It is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart," says former first lady Laura Bush of the Trump administration policy of "zero tolerance," under which the children of illegal migrants are being detained apart from their parents.

"Disgraceful," adds Dr. Franklin Graham.

"We need to be . . . a country that governs with a heart," says first lady Melania Trump. "No one likes this policy," says White House aide Kellyanne Conway, even "the president wants this to end."

And so it shall—given the universal denunciations and photos of sobbing children being pulled from parents. Yet striking down the policy will leave America's immigration crisis still unresolved.

Farage to Trump: ‘Ignore All The Screams’ From MSM on Immigration

President Trump must ignore the left’s outrage over his tough immigration policy or else his supporters won’t vote for him again, according to Brexit architect Nigel Farage.

“Immigration led to the Brexit vote, immigration led to new Italian government, immigration will finish off Angela Merkel and President Trump was elected on a very tough ticket of dealing with illegal immigration,” Farage said on Fox & Friends on Wednesday. “And now you’ve got the liberal media screaming at everything he does.”

'About 60 Organizations' Are Considering a Lawsuit Against the SPLC Following $3M Nawaz Settlement

No fewer than 60 organizations branded "hate groups" or otherwise attacked by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) are considering legal action against the left-wing smear factory, a Christian legal nonprofit leader confirmed to PJ Media on Tuesday. He suggested that the $3 million settlement and apology the SPLC gave to Maajid Nawaz and his Quilliam Foundation on Monday would encourage further legal action.

MERKEL CAVES IN: Germany 'to offer to scrap EU tax on cars' in Trump victory

 Via Billy

Donald Trump

ANGELA Merkel appears to have caved in to Donald Trump with Germany considering scrapping the European Union’s 10 percent tax on American car imports.

President Trump’s ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, has held high-level talks with German car makers BMW and Volkswagen about dropping car tariffs between the US and Germany.

The manufacturers said they were open to the idea of dropping tariffs as long as it was part of a larger overall industrial scheme.

This comes as trade relations between the EU and US become increasingly tense, with Mr Trump infuriating those in Brussels by slapping huge tariffs on European steel.

 Blind to Real Problems

Dr. Shelby Steele, a scholar at Stanford University's Hoover Institution, said: "Instead of admitting that racism has declined, we (blacks) argue all the harder that it is still alive and more insidious than ever. We hold race up to shield us from what we do not want to see in ourselves."

Dr. John McWhorter, professor of English and comparative literature at Columbia University, lamented that "victimology, separatism, and anti-intellectualism underlie the general black community's response to all race-related issues," adding that "these three thought patterns impede black advancement much more than racism; and dysfunctional inner cities, corporate glass ceilings, and black educational underachievement will persist until such thinking disappears."

Most discussion about the Civil War is retarded*

Via comment by Borepatch on Was Lee a Traitor?

Boy, there's a lot of idiocy being spewed about the Civil War.  I'm seeing the word to "traitor" being applied to pretty much everyone who wore gray or butternut uniforms.  The history that I learned growing up (and which was the common view as recently as Ken Burns' documentary) has seemingly been dropped into the dustbin of history.

This is retarded.  To help you understand this, here is a parable:

The FBI, The DOJ And Hillary Clinton’s HUGE Weiner Problem

 Image result for weiner

1. What are the names of all the people the FBI has identified as having emailed Hillary Clinton on her obvious unsecured server at Clintonemail.com? (We already know Obama emailed her on it under an alias. Which other high-ranking officials also emailed Clinton at her unsecured server? What about Robert Mueller? What about Eric Holder?
2. Did the inspector general ask Lynch about threats to NYPD to prosecute officers if they didn’t back down on exposing the email cover-up? Why not?
3. Did the FBI show Hillary the email by Cheryl Mills stating it was “obvious” Clintonemail.com was not secure?
4. Who are the three — just three — FBI agents who reviewed the Weiner laptop and conducted the miraculous de-duping and review in only a few days of 350,000 emails that covered her entire tenure as Secretary of State?
5. Who in the Department of Justice reviewed the 350,000 Clinton emails on Weiner laptop?
6. Who in Department of Justice talked to the New York office about the Weiner laptop?
7. How many classified, top-secret and even more secret chains were found from Clinton’s own production on Weiner’s laptop?
8. Who stripped the classified and confidential markings from the documents Mrs. Clinton received before sending them to her?
9. Where is Weiner’s laptop right now?
10. Who made that phone call from the Department of Justice to the New York Police Department? Exactly what was said?

***************************

Remember Anthony Weiner, also known as “Carlos Danger” — the former congressman who kept texting people pictures of well, umm, that part of his name? It all made quite the splash because he is married to Hillary Clinton’s consigliere and constant sidekick, Huma Abedin.

Turns out that Anthony was such a perp — and so enthralled with his own — that he was sexting with a minor. That is a federal offense carrying up to 10 years in prison. So, he got raided by the New York Police Department and the New York office of the FBI.

They seized his laptop computer. It would have been bad enough if it had only had contained all his porn. But it posed a huge problem for the FBI, DOJ and Mrs. Clinton.

Ted Cruz's border bill to end family separations makes sense

Image result for Ted Cruz's border bill to end family separations makes sense

From the beginning of the Trump presidency, Democrats and liberals in news media have had a surfeit of rhetorical and stylistic targets to attack in the White House. But until this month, they have struggled mightily to find anything substantive or policy-related that could really damage President Trump politically.

But now they may have finally found their weapon of choice.

Trump’s zero tolerance policy at the border appears to fulfill his promise to enforce immigration law and end the controversial practice of “catch-and-release.” But in certain specific cases where parents and children cross the border illegally together, strict enforcement requires a lengthy separation of families in cases where an asylum claim is filed by a family after it has been caught illegally sneaking in.

FBI Agent Who Said He Would 'Stop' Trump Escorted From FBI Building

Jake Tapper reported, “He was escorted from the FBI building on Friday.” Legal correspondent Laura Jarrett explained that he was still employed at the FBI as of Tuesday afternoon, but is facing a professional responsibility investigation.

This move came after Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced last week that Strzok’s anti-Trump text messages, including one in which Strzok promised his lover that he would “stop” Trump, had undercut the credibility of the department in serious ways. That IG report concluded:
