Fairfax Teacher tell Parents and Students how to fight Critical Race Theory at the LCPS SB Meeting

Biden’s ‘Right Wing Extremist’ Delusion: Were Capitol Police Officers set up and then abandoned?

“I hate deception, even where the imagination only is concerned.” —George Washington (1779)

The Senate released its 127-page “bipartisan report” on the January 6th Capitol protest, some of which devolved into violent confrontations between U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) and rioters. The report lays most of the blame for unpreparedness on the USCP, which is not where most of the responsibility should be placed.

Until that report was released yesterday, here is what we have known to be the indisputable truth about that protest, and how Democrats did what they do best — used it as political fodder to advance their statist agenda.

On that unfortunate January day, after former President Donald Trump held a rally down the road, some outlying miscreants at that rally, spurred on by conspiracy theory luminaries, unlawfully entered the Capitol building to disrupt the Electoral College process. A few of those protesters tangled with police, but most trespassed in the building without causing harm or damage.

Abraham Lincoln and the Misinterpretation of American History

The Federalist online magazine has a problem. It’s a condition that characterizes and infects almost the entirety of the present national conservative media.

This hit home for me on May 31, in an essay by Leslie McAdoo Gordon. Founded in 2013 by Ben Domenech, thefederalist.com it is not connected to The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies, which is composed of conservatives and libertarians dedicated to reforming the current legal order.

I read thefederalist.com Webzine almost every day, and occasionally it is the source for items of value and good information. But Gordon’s ill-informed attack on Confederate iconography was not one of them.

What is the Southern tradition worth to you?

Dear Friends of the Abbeville Institute:

Most of us read websites on a daily basis, including the Abbeville Institute. Many of us also enjoy podcasts as an alternative to the vanilla mainstream "political" talk show programs on the radio. The Week in Review at the Abbeville Institute is hopefully on your list.

The website and our podcast form the core of our mission to explore what is true and valuable in the Southern tradition. We refocused our energy in April 2014 and created a new website and mission: give our readers a nearly "daily dose of Dixie." We made this decision before the 2015 Charleston shooting, the 2017 Charlottesville event, and the 2020 "Summer of Love" because we anticipated things were only going to get worse for the Southern tradition.

We were right. "Conservatives" quickly joined the chorus of those who wanted to take down Confederate symbols. While some have softened their stance, most have not. They want to draw the line at Washington and Jefferson but don't understand that those men, too, will eventually be targeted for destruction, if not already. These "conservatives" are finally starting to realize that America itself is under attack, and the Southern tradition, which has long served as a counterweight to the headlong rush toward barbarism is the low hanging fruit. Once it has been fully destroyed, the cultural Marxists will take aim at anything left of traditional American society.

We also believe that the Southern tradition still has value in modern American society, and our articles on Southern culture, literature, politics, history, music, art, and so much more are intended to provide an alternative to the destructive tendencies of the modern Left. They seek to destroy. We seek to understand.

None of this is free. We don't have the assets of our better funded opponents on both the left and the right. Large "conservative" think tanks like Heritage Foundation and leftist organizations like the SPLC dwarf our resources. But we do have something neither has: good dedicated people willing to stand up for what they believe, even when it isn't popular.

If you enjoy our website, podcast, conferences, videos, books and other projects, please consider a tax deductible donation to the Abbeville Institute. If everyone on this email list donated $5 a month, we would have the financial firepower to fight back in ways that would make our opponents tremble. It would be our rebel yell. We'll gladly accept more if you are inclined and able to give, but our mission can only be sustained by your generous contributions.

Our common cause is for the future, not just of the South, but of America.

Join us in our mission. Just click the button below to donate.

Sincerely,

- All of us at Abbeville Institute

The armed forces are now a vehicle for the advancement of an agenda of social justice.

With a culture built on the tenet of good order and discipline, ourarmed forces have always been respected for their capability in defending freedom and our national interests. However, we haven’t gone toe to toe in a conflict with a state actor in the 30 years since the Gulf War and, in that time, our Department of Defense has changed dramatically, transforming into just another failing government organization preoccupied with advancing progressive ideology.

Military servicemembers operate under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which means they are subject to a system of law that is stricter than average citizens are governed by. For example, while adultery is generally not illegal for civilians, adulterous servicemembers may be punished by fines and jail time. Likewise, the rules and regulations that determine what constitutes “good order and discipline” can simply be altered by executive order or with the stroke of a pen. And, unless the order is deemed unlawful or immoral, our troops are required to carry on without insubordination.

Ohio AG Dave Yost Files Lawsuit to Declare Google a Public Utility

 The Associated Press

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has filed a lawsuit asking the court to declare Google a public utility, which would subject the Masters of the Universe to government regulation.

The Hill reports that Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost (R) on Tuesday filed a lawsuit asking the court to declare tech giant Google a public utility. If Google is declared a public utility, the company would become subject to government regulation.

Yost’s complaint was filed in Delaware County Court and alleges that the Silicon Valley titan has used its dominance as a search engine to prioritize its own products and services over “organic search results” in a way that “intentionally disadvantages competitors.”

Yost said in a statement: “Google uses its dominance of internet search to steer Ohioans to Google’s own products–that’s discriminatory and anti-competitive. When you own the railroad or the electric company or the cellphone tower, you have to treat everyone the same and give everybody access.”

Trump Pledges to Campaign Against Murkowski in Alaska: She Shares Blame for ANWR Shutdown

Former President Donald Trump announced Monday that he plans to travel to Alaska to campaign against Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s re-election.

“Senator Lisa Murkowski has cost the great people of Alaska billions and billions of dollars by voting for Radical Left Biden appointees, which in turn led to the revocation of ANWR drilling,” Trump said in a statement. “Alaskans have been fighting to see [this] happen for six decades.”

“Not only did Murkowski kill the biggest economic stimulant for the State, but also one of the biggest energy producing sites in the world,” he continued. “Nobody thought ANWR could be opened. We got it done, and she allowed it to be killed.

Black America's condition? Let's go to the stats

Listening to all the rhetoric in the popular media, you would think America is the most unfair, racist nation in the world. You would think that Black Americans are uniformly living in oppression and poverty, with no hope for the future, save the federal government arriving on the scene to their rescue.

Sorry, liberals, to trouble you with facts. But indeed there are facts. And the facts tell a far different story than what we are hearing.

Let's start with the most recent annual report of the Census Bureau: Income and Poverty in the United States: 2019.

The Source is the Enemy

There is a war being waged, but it’s an unconventional war. It’s a war of information, of inputs and outcomes. It’s as deadly as any other war, because control of this flow of information determines the direction of the nation, can raise the prospect of genocide among neighbors. It can put a few "authorized" voices in place to speak for the whole medical or scientific community, drowning out all other voices, especially those telling the truth. It’s a war that people like Zuckerberg learned to fight a long time before the opposition.

It has been a source of continual vexation that most of the people involved in the war, the soldiers, randomly fire their weapons in the general direction of the enemy with hopes of hitting something and often hit those on their side, contributing to the enemy’s efforts. They simply do not understand the battlefield. They are a disorganized bunch, lacking discipline and order and that's exactly how it's supposed to be, that is the messy nature of individuality and freedom, but recognizing that one's small voice is part of a bigger effort would be of great help to everyone else.

Lindsey Graham Issues Statement on Wuhan Lab Leak Theory

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) suggested on Tuesday night that denial of the lab leak theory was a tool to discredit former President Donald Trump and a way for scientists to hide their ties with the Wuhan lab.

The story: Grahan discussed the massive change in stance on the theory that the virus might have come from a lab in Wuhan, China during an appearance on Fox News. He specifically referred to a statement issued in February last year that dismissed the lab leak theory.

RNC Pride tweet: The elephant in the room

                                     "Celebrate Diversity" banner

If Ronna McDaniel was looking for a way to end her party's record-breaking fundraising, she nailed it. Right now, there are few things the RNC chairwoman could have said that would have been more tone-deaf and offensive than applauding the woke agenda her base is trying to combat.

A handful of days into this rainbow deluge, the air of LGBT pride is so suffocating that people could choke. It's plastered across social media, corporate logos, cereal boxes, even big box stores' pandering displays. This month, fans can't even go to a San Francisco Giants game without being bombarded with the league's first Pride-color uniforms. But one place conservatives thought they were safe from all this nonsense was the Republican National Committee. Turns out, their chairwoman is just as happy as anyone to pull on the LGBT jersey.

Georgia Poll Manager: There Were ‘Pristine’ Biden Ballots That Looked Like They’d Been Xeroxed

Several poll workers in Georgia claim that they saw suspicious mail-in ballots during the 2020 election, most of which were marked for President Joe Biden.

In detail: Poll manager Suzi Voyles in Fulton County, Georgia, and at least three other poll workers have signed affidavits, under the penalty of perjury, claiming they saw fake ballots at the polling place where they worked.
