Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds on Migrant Children: “This is not our problem; this is the president’s problem, he is the one that opened the borders"

A Republican Governor said recently that her state does not have the capacity to house migrant children who have come into the country illegally amid the country’s ongoing immigration crisis, arguing the problem was created by President Biden and so he has the responsibility to fix it.

“We don’t have the facilities. We are not set up to do that,” Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said during an interview with WHO radio on Thursday, during which she announced that she recently turned down a request from the Department of Health and Human Services to house hundreds of the migrant children.

Police visit the home of podcaster after he criticized AOC on Twitter

Police visited the L.A. home of a podcaster this week a day after after he posted a tweet criticizing AOC and her comments on Israel and Palestine. 

Ryan Wentz runs the online show Soapbox and tweets under the handle Queelamode.  

On April 7, he posted a link to an interview where AOC stumbled and struggled to answer questions on how to resolve peace in the Middle East. Wentz called her answers 'incredibly underwhelming'. 

The next day, two California Highway Patrol officers visited him at home in L.A. to caution him for allegedly threatening a member of congress.

GOP Rep. was overcome with emotion while speaking this week about the horrors he witnessed at the southern border.

Burgess Owens (R-UT) spoke of the struggles he witnessed of children, including one young girl who no longer speaks because she was allegedly gang-raped. The former NFL star blasted the “complicit media” and the Biden-Harris administration for neglecting to see those suffering as “humans,” but as a political “strategy.”
