Via Harry

Dated

On October 24, 2006 at 12:30pm, Daniel Zank’s body was found on the kitchen floor of his Coon Rapids, Minn. residence with multiple stab wounds.  He was 36 years old. At 9:40 am on that day Dan’s mother, Laura Zank, received a call from him. When she picked it up after two rings, no one was there. She called him back to ask why he didn’t finish the call and got his voice mail. The police estimated that between the time of that call and around 10:30 am Dan was stabbed to death.

The William Mayo Pippen House

"In the meantime the fact that the Negroes constituted such a great majority gave indications that radical domination might continue. Especially this was true in regard to town administration. This field of activity offered a greater opportunity in exercising tact and ingenuity than that of county or state politics. To meet this political emergency arose William Pippen.

(William Mayo, my great grandfather. He traveled to New York City after the War in his Confederate uniform as that was all he possessed, asked a friend of his father's if he would lend him money to start a mercantile shop inTarboro, which he did, and was so successful that he built the *William Mayo Pippen House beside the library in 1870 while acquiring numerous other lots. BT)

He conceived a plan by which the whites could control town affairs in Tarboro. The old citizens will recall that prior to1875, there were no wards or districts in the town of Tarboro; in fact, no such provision had been anticipated in the town charter. (1760) A census of the city showed that the Negroes had the majority and invariably elected all three commissioners. Mr. Pippen appeared before the State Legislature and succeeded in having the charter amended, dividing the town into three wards. The first and second wards contained the majority of whites in the central part of town, while the third ward included the suburbs, where the Negroes lived. This placed the Negroes in a position to carry only one ward, and the whites the remaining two wards, and Negro domination collapsed."

A Father’s Activism Changed the Law: Cops in WI No Longer Allowed to Investigate Themselves

 Scales-of-Justice-01

Long before the Ferguson situation occurred, another young man named Michael B. was shot and killed by a police officer.

Here’s his story.
Ten years ago, 21-year-old Michael Bell Jr. pulled up to the house where he lived with his mom and sister in Kenosha, Wis., about an hour south of Milwaukee. A police officer who, according to a police report chose to follow Bell after observing his driving, arrived shortly after. A subsequent toxicology report showed that Bell had been drinking that night.
Dash cam footage from inside the squad car shows Bell exiting the vehicle he was driving, where he was confronted by the officer. The two walked off-camera, where police tried to arrest him. A struggle ensued, and while his mom and sister watched from the house, Bell was shot, point-blank, in the head. (source)
The police officers involved in Bell’s shooting claimed that the young man ignored commands to get back into his car, and that he fought with officers. Bell was eventually Tasered several times.

Can Deer Get High on Raw Marijuana?

A deer named "Sugar Bob" in Southern Oregon has some people asking whether deer can get high on marijuana.

Marijuana plants are hardly a staple in the diets of American cervids, but in Southern Oregon’s Applegate Valley, a deer by the name of “Sugar Bob” spends its days nibbling on marijuana leaves and the occasional bud. The medicinal marijuana farm Sugar Bob frequents belongs to Richard Davis, who became friends with the inquisitive deer and now considers it almost like another pet. As Davis tends to his plants, Sugar Bob will do his part by eating whatever drops onto the ground.
“He’s just eating a big bud, and he’s sitting there and as he’s chewing that he’s just getting sleepier and sleepier. his eyes are just—he’s getting ready to go out,” Davis told Oregon Public Broadcasting.

“Critical Theory” and Confederate Heritage

Via Billy'

http://politicalhat.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Marx_Graduation1.jpg

There are many who view, with continuing alarm, the blatant and relentless attacks on Confederate and Southern history, heritage and symbols. They can’t seem to fathom why this or that group seems to hate Confederate flags, symbols, and heritage so much. They are not “racists” or hate-mongers. All they want is to be able to enjoy their culture and history and they cant figure out why some groups are so opposed to letting them do that.

They fail to recognize that there is a coordinated rationale behind all these attacks on the South. It is not just a random “liberal” group here or there that happens to not approve of Confederate symbols locally–in fact there is nothing random about any of it. It is all part and parcel of what we know as Marxist Critical Theory.

It is a major part of what we refer to as Cultural Marxism–and a major part of the Cultural Marxist agenda is the planned cultural destruction of anything even remotely perceived as Christian, Confederate, or Southern.

Federal judge: Obama immigration actions 'unconstitutional'

Via Billy

http://images.politico.com/global/2014/12/11/141211_barack_obama_gty_11602.jpg

A federal judge has declared parts of President Obama's immigration executive actions unconstitutional, in the first court opinion to tackle Obama's controversial policy changes.

In an opinion filed Tuesday, U.S. District Court Judge Arthur Schwab, in Pennsylvania, said Obama's immigration actions are invalid and effectively count as "legislation" from the Executive Branch.
"President Obama's unilateral legislative action violates the separation of powers provided for in the United States Constitution as well as the Take Care Clause, and therefore, is unconstitutional," the judge wrote.

The opinion, though, is unique in that it did not come in response to a challenge to Obama's immigration policy announcement. It is unclear what impact, if any, the opinion might have other than to rally critics and fuel momentum behind other lawsuits.

Awesome: New Bullet That Can Change Direction Developed For Military

Afghanistan’s climate can be a tough place for members of the military to work. And for snipers in particular, the wind and dusty terrain can make their job all the more challenging—but maybe not for long.

California’s Teledyne Scientific & Imaging, LLC has developed a technology that allows .50 caliber bullets to change direction after they’ve been fired. The EXACTO program, or Extreme Accuracy Tasked Ordnance, was developed for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

“The objective of the EXACTO program is to revolutionize rifle accuracy and range by developing the first ever guided small-caliber bullet,” DARPA officials said in a statement this summer accompanying a YouTube video. “The EXACTO .50-caliber round and optical sighting technology expects to greatly extend the day and nighttime range over current state-of-the-art sniper systems.”

Found last eagle Luftwaffe Messerschmitt BF109G6/U4 still with the pilot's body after 63 y (2007)

The sky was clear , the morning of 5 September 1944. The sergeant major Maximilian Volke , 29, as he had always obeyed orders . "Nine bombers B - 25 Americans are flying over the Po valley to go to destroy the bridge over the Po at Polegate . Bring them down . " Maximilian Volke , in the base of Ghedi , started the engine of his Messerschmitt BF 109G6/U4 and in a few minutes he was on ' objective. Maybe it was not even excited. At nearly 30 years was a veteran : the Luftwaffe was considered a " Red Baron " , because he had shot down 37 Allied planes : many hunting and even some bomber . On the sky of Mirandola, along with another 3 Messerschmitt , he saw the planes 321esimo group of U.S. bombers .

He shot with the 30 mm cannon , as he bursts from the two 13 mm machine guns . One of the B -25 defenses. He was 11 machine guns with 7 gunners . A gust struck the hunting of Maximilian Volke .

A fall of three thousand feet , the crash between the rows of vines ripe . His was the ' last German fighter shot down in the Italian sky . His flock - Jagdgeschwader / 77 - was recalled to Germany a few days later , on September 15 . How crest had an Ace of hearts. The child Gianfranco Comini, in the morning of September 5, 1944 , he was playing in the courtyard of the elementary school in the center of Mirandola was the ' hour of recreation. Everyone stopped to play with the ball, when they heard the explosions in the sky of a battle. "I saw a great American plane , had around three or four smaller planes . You could hear the machine guns . Then , one of the smaller planes began to fall .

I still remember coming down strong and had the engine at full throttle . " The outbreak among the rows , the smoke and the flames . " We ran all of them away from school , see. We children were kept away . Soon after came the Germans who sent them all away . " After 63 years, the tomb of Maximilian Volke , born in Monaco May 23, 1915 , was found and the German driver will have his funeral. Volke are preparing for the funeral. We'll do it in September, Mirandola , hoping to be able to contact some family members . " The " Red Baron " of Monaco has been found in a July afternoon , after a long process of research of documents and testimonies. "From the German cards - says Michele Becchi, researcher and collaborator of the RAF ' historical institute of Resistance of Reggio Emilia - we knew that what fell to a mile and a half from the center of Mirandola could be your hunt for Volke . But rest assured we 've only had it when we found his plate . "

The German pilots , towards the end of '44 , they knew that most likely would have found the victory instead of death. 'C ' is a detail that struck us and moved. The Allied pilots , like all soldiers , carried the dog tag around his neck. Those Germans held her in his pants pocket , inside a leather bag . They had seen colleagues die , they knew that in the ' impact with the ground that it was armored bulkhead behind the pilot would have crashed into the engine , destroying the upper part of the body of the pilot. Volke also had the plate in his pocket. He wanted to be identified , in the case of killing.

Perhaps also asked that funeral we can do just now. " A Mirandola Ugo Tassinari , municipal employee , he sought the testimony of those who saw then , and has passed all ' Association Raf. " Cavicchioli Attilio , who was also a child, was among those who ran away in here after the fall of the Imperial hunting. She was able to indicate the precise point of the ' impact' . The old also recall other stories. "At the end of '46 , or '47 , an elderly gentleman came in Mirandola . He was looking for his son fell right here .

Also paid some laborers , because dug between the rows of vines . A year later he also introduced a young German who said he was the brother of the pilot. But with spades and shovels laborers made a hole two or three feet and found nothing . " They were 40 feet deep, the remnants of the Luftwaffe pilot ." Fortunately, there 's still some who remember. " In San Bernardino Lugo - was March 22, 1944 , is the testimony of Dina Bagnara - while we were behind the house to clean the grain, there was a battle in the air because there ' was the Germans who fought with the British. We looked : all those planes seemed swallows up there , they were so high. Then a German plane crashed in front of our house ' . "

The Germans took skilled workers for the drilling of wells to recover the remains of Allied planes , especially to study the weapons and techniques of construction. The craters caused by their aircraft were instead covered with earth. Maximilian Volke for more than sixty years' was only a memory, to the children playing in the schoolyard . After the funeral in September, will be buried in the German cemetery at the Futa Pass . On the marble, next to the name , an Ace of hearts. http://en.wikipedia.org

Proof that priceless barn finds are still possible emerged from France this week when elite auction house Artcurial disclosed it had discovered the automotive equivalent of Tutankhamun’s tomb.

Earlier this year, Artcurial's Matthieu Lamoure and Pierre Novikoff came across the remarkable treasure trove of rare automobiles on a provincial farm in the West of France.

Novikoff had fielded a phone call from the representative of a deceased estate, which in turn had been inherited by the deceased from his father a decade prior. Several children had been bequeathed the estate, which included a collection of old cars that had lain untouched for nearly half a century. In an effort to discover the value of the cars, they called Artcurial, best known as France's leading auctioneer of art and antiques.

Study: Your all-electric car may not be so green

People who own all-electric cars where coal generates the power may think they are helping the environment. But a new study finds their vehicles actually make the air dirtier, worsening global warming.

Ethanol isn't so green, either.

"It's kind of hard to beat gasoline" for public and environmental health, said study co-author Julian Marshall, an engineering professor at the University of Minnesota. "A lot of the technologies that we think of as being clean ... are not better than gasoline."

House, Senate GOP Leaders Gearing Up to Increase Guest-Worker Permits

Via avordvet

Top Republican leaders in the House and Senate are gearing up to push legislation in the next Congress that would increase the number of foreign guest-workers even in industries that do not need them. They are hoping such legislation would "open the door" to a broader comprehensive immigration bill.

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), who chairs the Senate Republican High-Tech Task Force, wants to push his Immigration Innovation Act (I-Squared) that would increase the number of high-tech visas, even though there is no evidence that there is a shortage of American high-tech workers. Tech industry lobbies, like Mark Zuckerberg's FWD.us, have spent millions trying to secure massive increases in guest-worker visas that would give them an endless supply of cheap foreign labor even as companies like Microsoft are laying off 18,000 American workers.

Obama opens fraud-ridden benefits program to illegal aliens

 http://cdn.frontpagemag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/illegal_immigration-450x313.jpg

President Obama’s unilateral executive action on immigration will make hundreds of thousands, perhaps more than a million, illegal immigrants eligible for federal transfer payments. That will be done primarily through two widely used programs — the Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC, and the Additional Child Tax Credit, or ACTC.

As it turns out, those two programs are already among the most corrupt and fraud-ridden in the entire federal government. A newly released report from the inspector general of the Internal Revenue Service confirms that the EITC is plagued by fraud (which was already well known) and also reveals for the first time that the ACTC is even worse.

"My generation of boys is f**ked," says Rupert, a young German video game enthusiast I've been getting to know over the past few months. "Marriage is dead. Divorce means you're screwed for life. Women have given up on monogamy, which makes them uninteresting to us for any serious relationship or raising a family. That's just the way it is. Even if we take the risk, chances are the kids won't be ours. In France, we even have to pay for the kids a wife has through adulterous affairs.

"In school, boys are screwed over time and again. Schools are engineered for women. In the US, they force-feed boys Ritalin like Skittles to shut them up. And while girls are favoured to fulfil quotas, men are slipping into distant second place.

Quick, someone ask Senate Democrats if marching parents to the bullet-riddled husk of a school to collect the remains of over 120 children qualifies as “torture.”  Can we get an #illgotoschoolwithyou hashtag going, similar to the #illridewithyou hashtag that was meant to support Australian Muslims against a hypothetical future backlash from the Islamist hostage crisis that was still in progress when it was launched?  There’s nothing hypothetical about what Islamofascist savages do to women, school children, and anyone else who doesn’t submit to their doctrines.  Let’s get some brave Social Justice Warriors to dazzle us with their moral courage by signing up as body shields in the real, hot War on Women (and their children) being waged everywhere this curiously popular brand of not-Islam holds sway!

Mississippi Gas Station Owner Ali Alsanai Denies Illicit Involvement – Reality Begs To Differ…

Roundabout via Jeffery

Sunlight does strange things to people’s dispositions.  The local NBC News affiliate WMC5 in Courtland Mississippi appears to have found a new job title for the owner of the M&M First Stop Gas Station, Ali Alsanai.

Only a few days ago they were reporting that Ali Alsanai, aka Basem Alsanai, aka Ali Fadhel, was the 19-year-old owner/operator of the business.  After 48 hours of scrutiny into the background of Mr. Alsanai all of a sudden, poof, he becomes a “clerk” at the store.

The title of their on-line article passes him off as merely a “worker”, now.

Couldn’t have anything to do with the sunlight now upon the business, beer and wine licenses, ATF agents, and ears perked by USDA (*hint* EBT fraud), and IRS interests combining with FBI agents dispatched, while eyes seem curious about his successful entrepreneurship.   You can’t make this stuff up folks.

Pegida demonstration in Dresden, Germany

Good to go! :)

Its members have been dubbed the “pinstriped Nazis” and they refer to their demonstrations as “evening strolls” through German cities. But on Monday night, an estimated 15,000 people joined Pegida, or Patriotic Europeans Against Islamisation of the West, in a march through Dresden carrying banners bearing slogans such as “Zero tolerance towards criminal asylum seekers”, “Protect our homeland” and “Stop the Islamisation”.

Lutz Bachmann, the head of Pegida, a nascent anti-foreigner campaign group, led the crowds, either waving or draped in German flags, in barking chants of “Wir sind das Volk”, or “We are the people”, the slogan adopted by protesters in the historic “Monday demonstrations” against the East German government in the runup to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
