Cotton, who served in Iraq as a *platoon commander in the 101st Airborne Division before his election to Congress, further explained that Soleimani has not only killed hundreds of Americans in Iraq but has also been behind many other acts of brutality against the United States over the years. * (I didn't know that)
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), a staunch ally of
President Donald Trump, told Breitbart News on Saturday that he thinks
“Trump Derangement Syndrome” is fueling the fervor among Democrats and
the establishment media who are criticizing President Trump’s decision
to eliminate Iranian Quds Force terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani.
More @ Breitbart
President Trump is like a foreign particle in the eyes of the Democrats, Rinos and Fake News. Despite all the professional advice against using your fingers the more you rub the deeper it goes and the more irritating it becomes. I love the schadenfreude it creates. MAGA!
ReplyDeleteGood comparison.
DeleteIt is a crying shame, in my opinion, that those in the GOP now demand the same type of loyalty to Trump and the party as the dimocraps and their PC crowd.
ReplyDeleteThe simple truth is that I supported and voted from Trump as soon as he announced and promised to deport ALL illegal aliens in our country. His promise to get us out of endless wars and stop our hemorrhage of blood and treasure on the sands of some third world "shit hole" was merely a bonus. That being the case, it seems a bit shallow to tell those of us who supported Trump and now have reasonable questions and concerns about killing high ranking foreign officials visiting other countries that we have some type of 'derangement syndrome' as nothing more than shallow rhetoric meant to brow beat people into submission. Considering how corrupt and self serving our government has become one would think facts as opposed to rhetoric might help restore the legitimacy as well as respect of and for our stained government.
Outside of the constant lying about Afghanistan, recently reveal in those interviews, the lies about WMD, the lies about Iran have a nuclear weapon "in 6 months" for the last 18 years, then there are questions that should a least peak the curiosity among those who seek peace for our endless wars, and a bit of integrity from our government...

Y'all have a nice day.
According to Abdul-Mahdi, he had planned to meet Soleimani on the morning the general was killed to discuss a diplomatic rapproachment that Iraq was brokering between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
DeleteSo, it boils down to who you believe.
Or who you WANT to believe....
ReplyDeleteIt's a fair question but it always helps me to look at the sources on which people are basing their comments.
Do I trust the Iranian news service? Not so much.
Do I trust OUR intelligence services or government? Considering the lies and or deceptions listed above, not to mention the recent coup attempt by the NSA, FBI, CIA, DOJ etc. etc. etc., not so much either.
Trust is a commodity that is rightfully in short supply, in our country, yet the one essential currency for the health of republic.
The apple rots from the inside.
