Wife wanted a new 7-round 870 for her self-defense arsenal around the election time, and low and behold the DICK's was the only store in the Twin Cities to have one.
God the employees were ignorant and arrogant, and my wife kept on telling me to shut up until we got the paperwork done. Then I gave them my piece of mind.
They'd no rifles other than your common hunting variety on selves. I asked why, and the dude told me that they didn't like to sell military arsenal.
Dick's suck. I'll never use my money in that store. They'll fall like the rest of the arrogant retailers in my neck oof the woods.

It really sucks that people have been waiting for their ARs, and these fockers decide not to honor a deal. Ought to be sued the whole lot.
Not that it matters but Dick's Sporting Goods along with Cheaper Than Dirt are two links deleted from my favorites list. I will not spend another penny with them. Although I have never walked into a Hobby Lobby we do have one locally. I plan to stop in there sometime next week and spend a $20. I will also be sure to let them know why I spent my hard earned cash in their store.
Dick's thinks it owns Colorado. It doesn't own me. Bass Pro and Cabelas do. Heh. The Tanner gun show wraps up today in Denver. I had planned to go but I wouldn't even have got in today with my walking aids. I only buy cases and bullets any more to load for the kids to use when I'm gone.
Since Newtown, Walmart sporting goods associates can no longer show firearms to customers. A "salaried" manager has to be called just so a customer can see/handle a long gun. Customers are getting pissed about having to wait for an asst. manager to get to the gun counter. I'm not buying firearms/related supplies from them, nor will I frequent Dick's.
Scratch the backs that scratch ours. I took the III to Liberty books to two gunshops around here, one took them and sold all, the other was very hesitant, but said he would read it and call me, which he never did, so no more money from me.
Nice of them to tell us who's side they are on.
ReplyDeletePrecisely.
