I know Japanese are concerned about the decline of tuna stocks.
I'm all for limits. I'm no dang libertarian. It's good to preserve traditional ways of life, traditional foods. If the Greens and communists pretend to agree with me in this area, then they happen to be on the right side, though for the wrong reasons.
It's nice to see people enjoying nature's bounty. I'm told that one could live indefinitely off the sea. Going by the Japanese fish market, I can believe it!
They should ban all commercial tuna fishing, just allow sports fishers with a catch limit. Maximise the fun :)
ReplyDeleteTuna stocks are declining last I heard - not that I expect any tuna species will go extinct.
I believe the video stated that there are no limits in Japan.
