That's one little tyke that will probably go far in life. When I was that age I was too busy playing and spending any change that I had on penny candy and Cokes......................
ReplyDeleteWhat was the name of those tiny wax bottles that had a liquid in them that you chewed?
ReplyDeleteNik-L-Nips. Those things were awful, but we always bought them for some reason. Those and wax lips. Not to mention candy cigarettes, penny pretzels and the candy dots on strips of paper...............
DeleteI saw some last year and chewed away! :)
Deleteoldtimecandy.com has Nik-L-Lips and all of the rest of that sugary-stuff that we used to consume as kids. My favorite was Root Beer Barrels. Wax Lips would make a wonderful Valentine gift depending on her sense of humor. Perhaps you should throw in some jewelry, as well.
DeleteSomeone from an SCV Camp in North Carolina should look into getting this young lady involved in the SAM DAVIS YOUTH CAMP in NC. She is destined for great things.
