Description
...NORTH CAROLINA STATEWIDE BURN BAN IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...
The state of North Carolina has issued a statewide burn ban due to the very dry conditions. This burn ban is expected to remain in place until significant rain occurs.
Outdoor burning is prohibited. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities for further information.
Are they doing "controlled" burns tro get rid of the fuel and to protect homes and infrastructure? Or are they going with the California model of just letting it all rip?
ReplyDeleteGood growth means lots of fuel. Eventually, there will be a spark. The fuel can be "bottled-up" for only so long. Some thing, or someone, will get it going. Either do maintenance or do body recovery.
Burns need no permit, at least in Edgecombe County.
