O’Keefe: More Controversial NPR Videos to Come

View Image

There’s more video where that came from, says James O’Keefe, the muckraking activist behind TheProjectVeritas.org. The controversial video-sting impresario tells Newsmax that he’s prepared to release yet more embarrassing revelations about NPR, but first he wants to gauge NPR’s reaction to the bomb he dropped Tuesday.

In an exclusive Newsmax interview, O’Keefe says he’s waiting to see whether NPR comes clean “about what is going on” before he doles out more video.

Billionaire Carl Icahn Tells His Investors: Take Your Money Back

On the eve of the bull market's second anniversary, billionaire investor Carl Icahn had an unsettling message for his investors: Take your money back. Icahn told investors in his hedge funds that he didn't want to be responsible to them for "another possible market crisis," especially given the rapid increases over the past two years. Stocks have nearly doubled since hitting 12-year lows on March 9, 2009.

Icahn, who has built a fortune from taking stakes in well-known companies and then pressing for changes, also said he was concerned about the economic outlook and political tensions in the Middle East. Icahn's targets over the years have included Yahoo Inc., RJR Nabisco and Revlon.

"While we are not forecasting renewed market dislocation, this possibility cannot be dismissed," Icahn said in a letter to his limited partners. The letter was dated Monday and disclosed in a regulatory filing Tuesday.

$PLC Declares Itself A "Hate Group"

View Image

The Dan Stein Report

By Ira Mehlman

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) spends most of its time and most of its donors' money designating organizations they disagree with as "hate groups." Business is brisk: they managed to find 1,002 groups to slap with the designation in 2010.

One vexing problem for SPLC is that they have never clearly defined what a hate group is. It seems to be a fluid definition that keeps changing to suit SPLC's needs. In a March 2nd webcast, which featured SPLC President Richard Cohen "grilling" hate-designator-in-chief Mark Potok, a new definition emerged. According to Potok a hate group is an organization that engages in "deliberate lying and defamation."

Engaging in "deliberate lying (is there any other kind of lying?) and defamation." Isn't that kind of your job description Mr. Potok? Applying that definition, it's surprising SPLC was only able to come up with 1,002 groups to earn the designation.

Team Obama Directly Working to Recall Wisconsin Republicans

View Image

"How's this for states' rights?

This morning, Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said in a radio interview that President Obama's political team is directly involved in burgeoning efforts to recall Republican elected officials (emphasis on the word "elected," as in chosen by the people of Wisconsin in a democratic vote four months ago):

"There's many people that are beginning to believe this is a delay tactic by the Democrats in the Senate so that these recall elections can be organized by the Obama team out of Chicago, which they are, as we start to do the research on the people that have filed the petition," Fitzgerald told Newsradio 620 WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Morning News."

When asked whether Fitzgerald knew that for a fact, he responded, "The organizer against (River Hills Republican Senator) Alberta Darling definitely has direct links to the Obama camp. There's no doubt about it. These guys might be out until June. Unfortunately, what they're trying to do is flip the majority, and I think that's becoming very evident."

Documents point to ATF "gun running" since 2008

"Multiple sources now tell CBS News the questionable tactics were used in more than one operation, and date back as far as 2008 in the Tucson area. One case was called "Wide Receiver."
