Disowning Birth Certificates, Disowning Truth
Below is this week's syndicated column: "Is Obama Disowning His Online Birth Certificate?" It takes in the shifting strategy of the Obama defense team in fending off challenges to Obama's eligibility to appear on presidential primary ballots. Obama's eligibility is a signal concern for the nation which should be the subject of informed, serious debate on the front pages, on news shows, and also, most important, in the Congress. Such debate is non-existent. Such concern is non-existent, too. It doesn't seem to matter to the citizenry that a fraudster may be completing one term in the White House while seeking another.
I recently had the occasion to discuss the matter with a very famous American conversative.
Famouse Conservative said to me: Tell me what columns of yours are getting a big response lately.
I had earlier written this column about the Georgia ballot challenge hearing in which President Obama ignored a subpoena for the certified copy of his birth certificate (among other documents). This column elicited a great response from readers, many of whom asked me the same question: why this important story wasn't being covered in the media.
They're really interested in this whole eligibility story, I said.
Famous Conservative: I'll bet they are.
Me: Aren't you?
FC: No.
Me: No? Why aren't you?
FC: If this were happening back at the time of the election, maybe.
I told FC this is an election (ding-dong).
FC: Exactly. But this will alienate the people we need to defeat him at the polls.
I made some naive-sounding comment (which I thoroughly subscribe to) about the seeking the truth regardless of the outcome, adding that the truth would likely alienate plenty of people from Obama, too.
Impasse.
New tack for Famous Conservative: If this were true, why hasn't Rush or Hannity taken it on?
Me: They're afraid.
FC: (Scoffs.)
Me: Look, Rush won't talk about a lot of things: Islamization, for one. Sharia. Muslim Brotherood, those kinds of things. He has a comfort zone.
FC: (Disbelief.)
Impasse.
FC: Well, maybe if some respected conservative journalist were to examine the story --
Me: (What am I, chopped liver?) Who, for instance?
FC: John Fund, Daniel Henniger ...
Hey boys, have at it. But there's a problem. According to the FC (1) the truth will alienate voters so we mustn't seek the truth; and (2) it can't be true anyway because otherwise Rush, Sean, John and Dan would be all over the story. Of course, if FC's conservative journalists subscribe to #1 or some variation thereon as partisans or Republicans, we'll never get to #2. Meanwhile, across the journalistic aisle, the MSM has the another, equally heavy stake in preventing the truth from outing. They want Obama re-elected.
What's wrong with this picture? Conservative logic, conservative morality.
Needless to say, I didn't make any inroads with FC although FC's spouse shares my concern in the subject, so that's something.

Do you understand why I say that the Rule of Law is dead and that this Republic NO LONGER EXISTS? Jon Corzine is technically under investigation by both the SEC and CFTC, and should be under investigation by the DOJ (but isn't - I wonder why????) and is raising money and contributing to the Chief Executive of the same "government" that has him "under investigation."

Someone needs to get the list of people who contributed to Obama through Corzine's bundling. I promise you that every single person on that list probably belongs in jail themselves, and are, at minimum, psychopaths like Corzine. (Ahem. Cough. JP Morgan upper management. Cough.) Think about it. Corzine stole $1.6 billion at minimum and everyone on Wall Street and in Chicago knows it. Imagine your phone rings one day and it is Jon Corzine himself. He asks you to contribute to Obama through him. You agree. That makes you a PSYCHOPATH. That would be like if Charlie Manson called and asked you to contribute to the New Helter Skelter Party.
Here is me saying all of this on November 30th on FinancialSense.com with Jim Puplava. This is their most-listened-to audio interview ever. I think this interview is what really introduced and flew open the doors of conversation with regards to the spiritual evil, sociopathy and psychopathy of many of these financial and government oligarchs and brought those words out into the open. You cannot shame people who have no conscience or any sense of morality to begin with. They LAUGH at concepts like guilt, shame, remorse and conscience. All that matters to them is that they get away with it. And Jon Corzine knew and knows that he will get away with it because he is an oligarch and crony of the Obama regime.

Defending Static Positions in a Survival Setting

Sometimes a display of force will be enough to discourage looters, so that they will go find easier pickings. As I mentioned once before in SurvivalBlog, one of my consulting clients is a rancher in the intermountain west. He has a 24" diameter, 3/4"-thick round steel plate hung up on chains above his perimeter fence gate, which is 250 yards from his house. (He has a typical western ranch entry gate with a very high, stout crosspiece.) This plate is painted with his cattle brand logo, so to the casual observer it merely looks decorative. He's told me is that his intention is that if miscreants stop and show signs of forcing his gate, he will used a scoped FAL rifle to apply several rapid shots to that steel plate. He calls it his "Go away" bell. Hearing his "bell" ring will be a clear message to los hombres malos: "You have 250 yards of open ground to traverse to get to my house. Do you feel lucky, or bulletproof?"
Again, in genuinely Schumeresque times, during hours of darkness it is likely that a semi-auto burst of tracer rounds fired over the heads of a gang of looters might have a similar effect. One of my readers also suggested placing 20 pound Tannerite targets in positions around a retreat's perimeter. Ideally, these target would be positioned so that they can be seen and targeted by the retreat defenders but not by the attackers. (Tannerite can be really impressive.) Depending on the circumstances, demonstrating one or two of those going "boom" in plain view somewhere between the looters and your retreat residence might be a good way to encourage the ruffians to leave.

House Committee Votes to Close Tax Credit Loophole to Illegal Aliens

Yesterday, Members of the House Ways & Means Committee voted 22-12 to stop the IRS from giving refundable tax credits to illegal aliens.
Last year, the Inspector General for the U.S. Treasury Department released a report revealing that illegal aliens annually receive $4.2 billion in refundable tax credits, primarily through the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC).
The Ways and Means Committee voted to close this tax credit loophole by requiring that individuals who claim the ACTC provide a valid Social Security Number (SSN), based on language introduced by Rep. Sam Johnson (R-TX). Currently, the IRS only requires applicants for the ACTC to provide an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), which the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) indiscriminately hands out to illegal aliens.

The economic impact of the firearms industry is up 66 percent since
the beginning of the Great Recession, providing an unexpected shot in
the arm for the economy, according to a new study.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation says the economic impact of firearm sales — a figure that includes jobs. taxes and sales — hit $31 billion in 2011, up from $19 billion in 2008.
Jobs in the firearms business jumped 30 percent from 2008 to 2011, when the industry employed 98,750.
The industry paid $2.5 billion in federal taxes in 2011, up 66 percent in three years.
"Ours is an industry with a rich history and heritage that remains vital and important to the American economy today," NSSF Senior Vice President Lawrence G. Keane said in a statement. "To millions of Americans our industry's products represent liberty, security and recreation."

Obama Admin Seeks Gitmo Release of Terrorist who Killed US Soldier
In October 2010, Canadian Omar Khadr was convicted of using a grenade to kill a U.S. soldier. In May 2012, President Barack Obama and/or members of his administration are fighting for Khadr’s freedom.
That’s right—although Khadr was found guilty of killing US Army medic Sgt. Christopher Speer and sentenced to 40 years by a military jury, there is a deal in the works to transfer him to Canada where his prison sentence can be cut drastically. And the Obama administration is pushing the deal.
To be clear, they began pushing for it just weeks after Khadr was convicted and imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay. According to a Dept. of Defense press release dated October 31, 2010:
