Martin Luther King's Son: Trayvon Murdered Because He Was Black

Programmed, race baiting liar.

On Saturday, Martin Luther King III, son of the civil rights icon, used a rally that honored the 50th anniversary of the Reverend Doctor's "I Have a Dream" to politicize and inject race into the tragic death of Trayvon Martin, asserting he was killed because of the color of his skin.

"Sadly, the tears of Trayvon Martin's mother and father remind us that far too frequently the color of one's skin remains a license to profile, arrest, and to even murder with no regard to the content of one's character," Martin Luther King III declared. "Regressive 'stand your ground' laws must be repealed."

George Zimmerman was found not guilty on all charges and has asserted he shot Martin in self-defense. A federal investigation found that race was not a factor in the killing, and the prosecution never accused Zimmerman of killing Martin because he was black.

Benghazi: 'So you're willing to let these guys get away with murder?'"

 Excerpts

"We put American special operations in harm's way to develop a picture of these suspects and to seek justice and instead of acting, we stalled. We just let it slip and pass us by and now it's going to be much more difficult," one source said, citing 1,200 prisoners escaping two weeks ago. "It's already blowing up. Daily assassinations, bi-weekly prison escapes, we waited way too long."

The special operators are starting to get frustrated at the lack of action, and Fox News has been told by multiple sources that one special forces leader "literally yelled" at former Libyan Chief of Mission William Roebuck "and told him, 'so you're willing to let these guys get away with murder?'"

Jones Confirmed as ATF Director

Via LH

Acting Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, or ATF, Mr. B. Todd Jones, has been confirmed by the US Senate to be the first, full-fledged Director of the agency since the post was realigned to require Senate confirmation in 2006.  Just days after the NRA expressed neutrality in the Jones confirmation process, Jones supporters were able to garner the 60 votes needed to break a Republican filibuster and move on to the confirmation vote when Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) switched her vote.  Murkowski wasn’t the only Republican to cross over on the vote though; AZ Senator John McCain led the Republican delegation which included Lindsay Graham (SC), Kelly Ayotte (NH), Susan Collins (ME), and Mark Kirk (IL).

The rest of the Republicans in the Democrat-controlled Senate voted to maintain the filibuster that was blocking the Jones appointment.  After Murkowski changed her vote, Harry Reid held the voting open for a near-record 5 hours waiting for ND Democrat Heidi Heitkamp to arrive to cast the final vote for closing debate and moving on to the actual confirmation vote.  The final confirmation vote only required a simple majority and was an easy victory for the Democrats.  Echoing John Kerry’s statement that he voted against a measure before voting for it, most of the Republicans who had voted to close debate turned around and voted against final confirmation.

Someone ignited an improvised explosive device next to a war memorial cross that a prominent atheist group wanted removed from a public park in Coos Bay, Ore., an attorney for the city told Fox News.

An official statement on the city’s website called it an act of “criminal mischief” and stated that an ”unknown person(s) vandalized the memorial with an improvised explosive device.”

“We unfortunately are now to the point where explosive devices are being placed next to crosses,” said Hiram Sasser, director of litigation at the Liberty Institute.

The victim's brother-in-law, Miguel De Diago told the Blaze that one of those charged with the shooting, Mario Patterson, "had numerous photos of Trayvon Martin" oh his Facebook page.

The page in question has since been removed.

Tuesday, August 13th was a warm day on the Boulevard, but the clouds moved in to cool the Flaggers off a bit and many good conversations were held with residents and visitors to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. 9 Flaggers were in attendance and CBS 6 visited us on the sidewalk for interviews regarding the I-95 Battle Flag.
