The Pentagon has released a statement explaining that today's strike was launched in order to "deter future Iranian attack plans." And it sounds like there were quite a few.

GOP Senator Puts Nancy Pelosi on Notice; No Articles by Monday, He Will Introduce Measure to Dismiss - Update

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), a lawyer, makes an excellent point. On Thursday afternoon, he posted the following tweet:
Dems said impeachment was URGENT. Now they don’t want to have a trial, because they have no evidence. In real world, if prosecution doesn’t proceed with case, it gets dismissed. So on Monday, I will introduce measure to dismiss this bogus impeachment for lack of prosecution. This will expose Dems’ circus for what it is: a fake impeachment, abuse of the Constitution, based on no evidence. If Dems won’t proceed with trial, bogus articles should be dismissed and @realDonaldTrump fully cleared.

Ted Cruz Thoroughly Debunks Buttigieg's Lie About the Founding Fathers and Slavery

Via Billy

GOP Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas set former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg straight regarding whether America’s founders understood the immorality of slavery and sought to address it.

Speaking to schoolchildren during a public television program in 2014, Buttigieg said, “It’s an embarrassing thing to admit, but the people who wrote the Constitution did not understand that slavery was a bad thing and did not respect civil rights.”

“And yet they created a framework so that as the generations came to understand that that was important, they could write that into the Constitution,” he added.

Giuliani Hints 'Criminal Acts' Involve 'Highest Levels of the Obama Administration'

With more public scrutiny and pressure from Republicans, it looks like the noose is tightening around the Bidens and other Democrats who were allegedly involved in Ukrainian corruption.

Now, Rudy Giuliani, fresh from a fact-finding trip to Ukraine, claims there’s so much damning evidence that he’s willing to try any case that results from his discoveries.

Shawn Ryan Show #1 Former Green Beret/CIA Contractor Mike Glover

Via Herschel Smith "This is a long but good interview.  If you don’t have time for the entire video, watch 1:27 – 1:34.

We all know that there were other assets to respond to Benghazi, and we’ve covered that in the past.  But here we learn straight from the guy who was there after the event that he had a “full platter” of potential responses, including kill-capture.

He was told that the political climate was “too sensitive” and we weren’t going to do anything.  Presumably because the cover-up (i.e., blaming it on a ridiculous video) was still in progress by the Obama administration.  You also learn from him that it was often said that there were no dangers in Libya prior to that event, and he clearly says he got the sitreps and knew there were many threats.

Threats that left the U.S. unprepared, all by intent.

NSC chief slashing Obama's 'bloated' staff to create efficient, tight-lipped White House operation

Under President Obama, the NSC staff mushroomed to as many as 450 people. Mr. O’Brien plans to cut the staff to fewer than 120 policy officials by early next year.
The White House National Security Council staff is being downsized sharply in a bid to improve efficiency within the policy coordinating body by consolidating positions and cutting staff.

A second, unspoken thrust of the overhaul is a hoped-for end to what many critics see as a string of politically damaging, unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information. Leaks of President Trump’s conversations with foreign leaders and other damaging disclosures likely originated with anti-Trump officials in the White House who stayed over from the Obama administration, according to several current and former White House officials.

White House National Security Adviser Robert C. O’Brien is leading the NSC reform effort. He revealed in a recent interview with The Washington Times that 40 to 45 NSC staff officials were sent back in recent months to the agencies where they originally worked, with more likely to be moved out.

Betsy DeVos and DOJ Fire Off on Colleges Acting Like 'Police States'

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos listens during an Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs meeting at the State Dining Room of the White House on March 18, 2019, in Washington, D.C.

It’s no secret that colleges and universities in America are overwhelmingly leftist.

Allegations of Soviet-like behavior are what landed one Mississippi college in the middle of a free speech lawsuit recently, and now Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos and the Department of Justice are jumping into the fray against the institution of higher learning.

Jones County Junior College is the subject of a lawsuit over allegations that it enforces draconian rules about assembly and speech, and even the claim that the college even called the authorities on student Michael Brown simply for talking about freedom of speech without the school’s permission.

Colleges Dupe Parents and Taxpayers

Colleges have been around for centuries. College students have also been around for centuries. Yet, college administrators assume that today’s students have needs that were unknown to their predecessors. Those needs include diversity and equity personnel, with massive budgets to accommodate.

According to Minding the Campus, Penn State University’s Office of Vice Provost for Educational Equity employs 66 staff members. The University of Michigan currently employs a diversity staff of 93 full-time diversity administrators, officers, directors, vice provosts, deans, consultants, specialists, investigators, managers, executive assistants, administrative assistants, analysts and coordinators.
