League of the South Statement to members
Compatriots: The League of the South has uncovered within our ranks a member with disturbing ties to The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). His name is Willis Cox, otherwise known as Bill "Deacon" Cox, of Pike Road, Alabama (near Montgomery). Doubtless, many of you know Bill; some know him quite well. Or at least we thought we knew Bill.
Here is what our investigation turned up over the past couple of years: 1) one of our members has in his possession a photocopy of Bill Cox's marriage certificate to one Laurie Wood; 2) Ms. Wood is an Analyst at the SPLC and an Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center; 3) Ms. Wood is also listed as a member of the Countering Violent Extremism Working Group, which is run by the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council (for their website, see
www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/
4) Mr. Cox and Ms. Wood are now living in the home of one Rhonda Brownstein, former legal director of the SPLC.
I spoke to Mr. Cox by phone last week and he admitted to his marriage to Laurie Wood. He also admitted to keeping this fact a secret from the League of the South and other groups with which he associated.
We are not aware that Bill Cox did anything illegal while attending our events; however, the evidence is overwhelming that he misrepresented himself to us as a Southern Patriot while the facts above suggest that he is anything but. We also are not aware that Mr. Cox was a paid informant for the SPLC or of any one else; however, his close connections to Ms. Wood and Ms. Brownstein (and perhaps other SPLC employees) raise suspicions that he likely attended our events for the purpose of gathering information about the ideas and activities of The League of the South and other organizations to which he belonged and in which he actively participated (including at least one and possible several Southern motorcycle clubs).
It is our considered opinion that Bill Cox has acted immorally and dishonestly. His membership in The League of the South is hereby revoked.
On behalf of the League of the South Board of Directors,
Michael Hill
President
The most ironic (read: “hypocritical”) thing about the Southern Poverty Law Center is that NOT ONE of its top ten, highest paid executives is a minority.

In fact, according to the SPLC’s hometown newspaper, the Montgomery Advertiser, despite being located LITERALLY in the back yard of Dr. Martin Luther King’s home church, the SPLC has NEVER hired a person of color to a highly paid position of power.
Ms. Brownstein has been a highly paid executive in this all-white, highly profitable "non-profit" for decades.
Remember, it was an SPLC based "report" that informed Missouri Highway Patrol officers that the best way to identify "domestic extremists" was to look for third-party candidate bumper stickers, like those of Bob Barr and Ron Paul, on their cars.
Some “experts”
Marxists all.
ReplyDeleteThe SPLC is Khazar-owned and operated. Its president is Richard Cohen. There is one Negress lawyer; the rest are Khazars, unless you count as being Morris Seligman Dees a half-Khazar
