We have some Sheriff's Departments to file these cases against. Like, for example, Bandera County:
(June 9th): The law enforcement agency said followers of The Sovereign Citizens Movement have been known to carry out violent acts, including killing law enforcement officers and other public servants.
The sheriff's office told KSAT-12 News the warning was prompted by the recent shooting death of Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Kenneth Vann.
"We have domestic terrorism right at our doorstep," said Capt. Charlie Hicks of the Bandera County Sheriff's Office.
Hicks said while there's no evidence Vann's death had any links to the Sovereign Citizens, it's the same type of crime followers are known for.
SAN ANTONIO (June 7, 2011)--Ballistics tests show that a rifle that authorities seized from the home of a man charged in the ambush killing of a Bexar County deputy sheriff is a match to the weapon used in the slaying.
Authorities believe Gonzales was drunk and on anti-depression medication during the unprovoked and apparently random attack.
So the alleged perpetrator was on anti-depressants and drunk at the time of the apparently random attack.
That is, there was and remains no reportable evidence that this person was involved in any sort of "violent domestic terrorist" group whatsoever. But two days later this Sheriff lied to the media and public - on purpose - in an attempt to get you to surrender your Constitutional rights.
Bandera county is the county just north of us.
