Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus offers a blunt assessment of President Barack Obama’s presidency: “A fish rots at the head.”
During a speech to students at the University of Chicago on Wednesday, Priebus also said he’s working hard to return Obama to one of his previous jobs at the university, teaching constitutional law.
After campaigning on a platform of “hope and change” in 2008, Obama now is campaigning “on fear and division,” Priebus said during his speech at the university’s Harris School of Public Policy, as reported in the Chicago Tribune.
Priebus, a former state legislator who also headed the Wisconsin Republican Party and was elected RNC chairman this year, urged defeat of Obama next year for failing to make good on his promises to fix the ailing economy.
