“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it.”
- Frederic Bastiat
“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”
- George Washington
“When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law.”
- Frederic Bastiat
“Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience.”
- John Locke
Absolved.
It's what we explained to the Tories and their mercenary army of enforcers.
That's "why we carry guns".
VERBATIM POST
==========
Ayoob at Backwoods Home writes about an elderly couple who were brutally murdered in their home.
Just like this couple-- Jose Guerena was in his home when he was attacked and brutally murdered by violent killers.
Jose_Guerena_shooting
The training, and organization, and decision to target and then to kill Jose Guerena was deliberate at each step in the process. The trigger pullers committed murder, as did those who sent them (prosecutor, judge, sheriff). Those who continue to enable them share the blame (prosecutors, judges, state and federal jurisdictions). And that includes those who excuse this and/or support their training, tactics, and deeds, like Mr Ayoob here. "Enforcers uber alles"?
When laws no longer apply, then there is no law, except what corruptocrats want to make up, an 'insiders mafia'. None of the 'perps' in this gang are charged with crimes since there is no law, only 'connections' and 'raw force' in this crime wave of organized theft and violence.
If there was a single 'oathkeeper' that had jurisdiction, A SINGLE ONE, then laws would apply, and the concept of law would be preserved. By continued enabling of such premeditated organized crimes, these perps and their enablers destroy what used to be our system of government. They make themselves repugnant to the concept of law. They are 'domestic enemies' Matt Bracken writes about.
Q: "Why we carry guns"?
A: Because Tories behaved just like this, abusing the people, and we made them leave.

After reading the Ayoob piece, as well as all of the comments, I believe that Guard Duck and Klapton come out as the clear winners of the debate.
ReplyDeleteOh, that was on the Guerena link....
ReplyDeleteI can see it now, Romney and Gingrich run together and Obama wins since many in the Tea Party vote for third party. Not that Ron Paul isn't a huge long shot, but with the little amount of time they give him, it almost seems hopeless.
ReplyDeleteNot knowing much about Ayoob at the time (had bought one book last year), his response to the Guerena thing really surprised me. That he so stubbornly stuck with his defense for a couple of weeks afterwards hit home how hypocritical he is. You could throw 1000 examples in his face of systematic police corruption and it will always be (paraphrasing), "theres another camera angle to the story you don't see" or "it was just one incident" or "you have a chip on your shoulder or possibly a parole officer".

ReplyDeletePrecisely. I used to go to his site a lot, but no more.
I've thought Ayoob a boob for quite a while.
