First the notes. The events surrounding the night of February 26th are complex only insofar as investigative evidence has not yet fully been made public. The various leaks, accounts, media stories, witness statements etc. have been reviewed and essentially led up to the collection of information in Update #9.
Since March 12th, when investigators determined that no credible evidence existed to arrest or prosecute George Zimmerman, nor did anything surface to dispute his account of the nights events leading up to the shooting of Trayvon Martin, nothing has changed.
Everything beyond that official police investigation position has been speculation, media spin and manufactured media-evidence designed to stir public opinion and emotion.
Again we repeat, “media evidence” sold by lawyers and Media Image Consultants does not need to be real, it only needs the appearance of reality. Much like planting seeds of doubt it is created to appeal to, and stir, emotion; to overwhelm logical thought, to sway public opinion and ultimately force politically minded public officials to engage in activity they would otherwise stay away from.
None of it will ever reach inside the walls of the judiciary because it is either manufactured or irrelevant. Period.
However, the false and specifically constructed media evidence does have consequences. Real people have been brutally attacked and real people have been physically assaulted because of this “manufactured” media evidence created for public consumption.
Make no mistake in doubting the motivation or intention of those who have specifically advanced lies and manipulations into the public psyche. This self-serving, naive, and intentionally false, often hate filled, rhetoric is dangerous. Which is why we have chosen to call those liars and deceptive self-serving manipulators to task. We have deconstructed their lies and falsehoods, and we will continue to expose them, shine the light upon them, and not let them slide back into the shadows.
