And Dressing up "joe ninja" to look like an "operator" while spraying ammo from a weapon that won't put three rounds within two FEET of the same hole at ranges above six inches, is WAY over the top while trying to convince me that this is "The Greatest Round EVEH!!" It smacks of bullshit. They make a lot of big claims , but I didn't see one penetration shot thru anything but jello. I'll bet that they will offer them real cheap too; say 75-100$ a box? I have seen the "super rounds" come and just a quickly disappear for many, MANY years now. For now I think I'll just stick with Sam Colt----Ray

Yea, I wouldn't waste it in a G18. As far as being outlawed, Black Talon got smeared a generation ago. No news there. The FedGov will do anything it wants, including outlawing ANY ammo, since they now are delusionally insane. No biggie there either.

They may have .38 Spl / .357 in the works if they can solve the pressure problems of a solid copper bullet and the cylinder gap. I would be happy launching it out of a Marlin lever carbine at 2 or 4 legged targets. I hope never to use it, IYKWIMAITYD. I've seen plenty of trauma from GS, and wouldn't want to casually deal any out, but if I have to I wanna do it quickly and efficiently. I'll puke later, smoke two cigarettes at the same time, but I'll get over it

Well..I don't own a handgun with a hole smaller than .45 , and the 255 gr. hard cast SWC or XTP @ 1000fps has stopped every hog I ever shot with the 1892 or the SAA. As for my 1911. It won't feed anything but hardball. The good news is I have never had a hiccup in 40 years from the HB- 1911 combination. It killed tens of thousands(or WAY more) in both world wars Korea and Vietnam so I guess it works. Honestly I don't have a Hi-Cap handgun a plastic weapon or an AR and feel perfectly well armed.---Ray
The SAA(US Army M-1890 clone) was made in 1976 by Uberti , The 1892 was made in 1975 by Rossi.(25 years before the puma) both are VG ++(and both .45LC) My weapons that I'd go to the big dance with are a minty 1956 M-1 NM and a U.S&S 1911a1. I have a few other odds and ends in the safe; 870s 700s Winchesters Norchesters 1903s & front stuffers .The odd old revolver, but I got rid of the Kimbers (I have owned three and was deeply underwhelmed) Got rid of the 229 and the worthless alloy frame & plastic stocked M-500 shotgun. Basicly if its not steel and wood and runs like a WW-2 .45. I probably will hate it---Ray
I'd like to get another M-1. All I have left is remembrance of my thumb. :) I had a M-2 carbine in Vietnam which was my favorite. Like to get another also.
