Mine was a 69, which I preferred. But I didn't get to drive it much till years later. By then I didn't appreciate it as much. Wish I had it now!

ReplyDeleteA friend of mine had one of those. Dark Green with white hood stripes and black interior. He modified it a bit and it was bad news. The wild cam in it had such a lope that when he idled around the local drive-in he'd have to push the clutch in every few feet and rev up the motor a bit to clear it out. I'm sure he was pushing well over 600 hp.
