A Durham police officer’s home was damaged after it was shot at Monday afternoon, the department said.
The officer, who was not identified, was inside his home at the Atrium Apartments on Meriwether Drive at about 2 p.m. when the outer pane of his dining room sliding glass door was shattered, police said. The projectile did not enter the apartment.

Can't say that I am surprised, it just took one gentle giant to be brave (stupid) enough to charge a cop for people to take this into their hands.... I don't feel sorry for cops, for the most part they brought this down upon them.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I missed reading something here. The headline makes it sound like he was shot at with a gun. After reading, the story it sounds more like the window was broke with the BB or a pellet gun. Perhaps I’m not up to date but I don’t think many assassins use BB or pellet guns in an attack. Sounds more like some accident with a kid than an attack on a police officer. However, a kid with a BB gun breaking a window doesn’t sell papers. Another example of fake news making headlines.

DeletePiss poor reporting or agenda driven propaganda. If the window was broken but no projectile was in the home he was NOT SHOT AT.
ReplyDeleteThe officer wasn't wounded, but a sliding glass door to his dining room was shattered. The unidentified officer said he saw a man running into some nearby woods after the shooting.
