Wear bulletproof vests. Avoid posting inflammatory statements on social media. Don't make arrests unless you have to. Don't patrol alone.
Those are some of the warnings police departments and unions around the country are giving to the rank-and-file after two NYPD officers were ambushed and shot in their patrol car in broad daylight Saturday afternoon.

1) You are NOT a paramilitary organization. If you want to be a part of a military, then
go join a real one (assuming you are qualified enough to enlist).
2) Stop viewing us citzens as the enemy and assuming that we are guilty of some
thing.
Always, always, always remember it takes just one bad cop, just once to ruin all the good work done by a thousand cops. And again, your uniform and shiny badge does NOT grant you extra rights. If can not do some thing, neither can you.
Just wait til Habersham county gets a reprise. Or Cleveland, or Anaheim, or...
