And? Hope they'll shoot sideways like their brothers in the hood. :)
What if there were a group of Muslim open carry advocates who called themselves “Sword of the Prophet” and whose avowed mission was to bring Sharia law to the US, and they took to showing up armed and in large numbers outside of churches on Sunday, the way the OC guys do at the state house. Or what if there were a group of hispanic activist OCers, maybe an offshoot of La Raza who liked to organize armed protests at police stations and court houses, and who openly advocate the “reconquista” of the Southern US?

Those declarations, such as sharia law being forced on a country, or promoting the latino hate group, would be viewed as hostile acts. Couple that type of rhetoric with weapons and I bet there'd be a lot of almost-shootings, or outright shootings.
ReplyDeleteFreedom of speech is one thing, but like the assholes who chanted for dead cops in NYC and Fla, and got them, inflammatory, derogatory, threatening, menacing, or violence inciting speech is not protected under the 1st.
That's one of the most plainly visible difference between the Tea Party/OC/Pro2A groups and those others. Our message doesn't involve the legal enslavement of other people or the conquering of someone else's land. It involves peace, understanding, liberty, self reliance, and family.
Are there knuckle heads in our movement and groups? Yup.
There's always a couple idiots around no matter which end of the scale you're looking at.

DeleteWell said.
All hell would break loose....
ReplyDeleteThey have the right, but they had better use it wisely.
DeleteThere are a lot of pluses to the idea.
ReplyDeleteIt would give the .gov someone to take out before us. A built in early warning system.
And maybe it would encourage them to fight like men instead of cowards as they do now.
May be!
