The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Dakota County Sheriff's Office are assisting the Apple Valley Police Department with the investigation.
They confirmed they are treating the death as 'suspicious'.

Something happened there and I dare to venture it was not murder/suicide.

ReplyDeleteSomeone gave me this link on FreeRepublic with a little bit more information. There was a 2-line note left, but no information that would explain what happened or why (contents of the note haven't been made public yet or confirmation that it was handwritten). Also, the wife was Pakistani (ie, muslim) and her family was not happy that she married a white American military man (ie, non-muslim). Neither were close to their immediate families.
