An innocent woman who called 911 for help was shot and killed by police who arrived at her home on Tuesday.
She only called them for help, said the family, devastated over their loss.
“My sister would not hurt anyone,” said Debra, her sister.
Betty Sexton was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
It began when Officer LaDoniqua Neely pulled out her gun, aimed it at Betty, and shot her in the chest, according to reports.

should be more to this story . Seems to me to be adding insult to injury !
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope there is, but if not, murder should be in the forefront.
DeleteWe all know that as Americans we have the right to bare arms, especially to defend our home.
ReplyDeleteWe also know that if a policeman sees us with a gun they have the right to shoot us.
So it all makes sense. She had a gun, the cops shot her. What's to get upset about?
Funny if not so tragic.
DeleteIf a cop sees me with a gun, they have a right to kill me? Are you fk'ing serious? It doesn't matter if you open or conceal carry, as long as you excersize your right lest it be lost. As far as the poor woman that was basically murdered on her own property while complying... shouldn't be seen as anything less than tragic and an injustice.

I believe he was being facetious.
DeleteSome comments I have read out there are asking questions about the race of the woman's "intruders" who are known to her boyfriend who "also lives on the property" I also read that the Gastonia police have killed three citizens so far this year. Have you heard about any of this?
ReplyDeleteNo, but I can only imagine.
