Apparently murder is now a standard of care in the medical field. Didn’t get the notice? Well, hang on because today’s stories are going get your pulse up.
Let’s start in Corpus Christi, Texas at Driscoll Children’s Hospital where LifeNews reports doctors refused to give treatment to a 12-year old until the parents went to court:
Following a severe asthma attack on January 14, doctors at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi revived Joey Cronin but informed his parents they thought he had little hope to survive. Because of that, doctors refused to provide Joey with appropriate lifesaving medical treatment…

First of all, being from Wisconsin, Im blown away by the fact that a UW doc would make such a decision. Second Im used to seeing cases where doctors force treatment upon children and get the courts to side with the medical proffesional. I have to wonder if this is a symptom of obamacare.

DeleteGood point. My father was a country doctor and I'm glad he's not here to witness the horror of today's world.
In the last ten years Ive seen a lot of good docs leave our big mediplex in Marshfield WI , to persue smaller venues. Its assembly line medicine up here for sure. Even worse now with obamacare. Im just guessing, but Id say there was a 30% cut in "non-essential employees in the past 24 months.
ReplyDeleteThanks and I am sure that is no surprise.
DeleteWow! It is evident that our dishonorable Pol's are not the only ones breaking their Oaths.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteGlad that's not my child, or grandchild. Some things are beyond accepting peacefully.

DeleteThat's for sure.
If you go into medicine with a grand notion of helping people , saving lives and making lots of money, you may be sadly dissapointed. Any large hospital is about billing as many insurance claims as possible a day. Its assembly line medicine. So you specialize. Guess what,...twenty surgeries a day. Yes you are Saving lives and healing sick people. Many are also writing tons of prescriptions to get pharmacuetical kickbacks foR extra money to pay off student loans. So I cant help but feel that for all the education and grueling training, a lot of docs just end up not giving a crap after a while. Im always amazed how many docs tell me they envy me for my job. And thanks for the good docs that do care and do their best to help us despite all.
ReplyDeleteMore and more nurse practitioners these days and my country doctor father would be appalled at most everything these days.
