A new study from the Freedom Foundation in Washington state has uncovered several former teachers who have had their teaching licenses revoked due to things such as child molestation and other sexual abuses are still receiving their pensions.

A total of 22 teachers have hauled in over $5.1 Million in “retirement” during and after their time behind bars.

Republican state Senator Barbara Bailey wants to change that, but Washington Teachers Association representative Kit Raney says she “Would fight it.”

  1. So the National Socialist American Teachers Collective would fight any attempt to stop pension payments to convicted child molesters while they're behind bars. Might be something to remember next time some Teacher's Union thug starts prattling about how concerned they are for "the children."

  2. These are two different issues that are not related. You can lock up or execute the pervs for their crimes. But the money they earned belongs to them. if you don't think that their pensions are in line with the market or something, then that argument is equally valid for all the teachers who didn't molest anyone. The same is true fot eh teachers that wasted oxygen in other ways as well as the one or two who inspired some prodegy.
